Kentucky Moms Drugged and Sexually Assaulted by Freeport Resort Staff After Cruise Stops In The Bahamas

A Bahamas getaway turned into a horrifying ordeal for two mothers from Kentucky. Amber Shearer and Dongayla Dobson, lifelong friends, claim to have been drugged and sexually assaulted by members of the Freeport resort staff while visiting Grand Bahama Island during a Carnival cruise, per Fox News

The women reported how they innocently sipped cocktails from a resort on the island and ventured out to collect seashells for their children on the beach.

“After the first drink, we had to get out of the office because we noticed it was just hitting so hard. I felt so out of it,”

    Dobson told

    “Good Morning America.”

    Then they lost consciousness.

    During their appearance on

    “Good Morning America,”

the two women said that it was at that moment when individuals from the staff at the Freeport resort sexually assaulted them.

“I vaguely remember glimpses of his face,”

    Dobson said.

“I don’t remember everything. I remember enough that he was a staff worker, he had a goatee, and he was a local.”

The toxicology reports revealed a combination of drugs in their systems. On February 4th, the Royal Bahama Police Force announced the arrest of two men, aged 54 and 40, in connection with the reported sexual assault. The names of the individuals were not disclosed. Upon their return to the United States, the women discovered that the Department of State had issued a level two travel advisory for the Bahamas due to the high crime rate.

“We didn’t know there was a travel advisory until four hours after we were raped,”

the women told local news outlet LEX 18.

“We want justice for what happened to us. We want to raise awareness for others,”

    Shearer said.

“Be safe. Two is not a group. Do not buy any drinks that come unless they come in a sealed container, in a bottle.”

  • Texas Man Receives 180-Day Jail Sentence For Drugging Wife’s Drinks To Induce An Abortion

Texas Man Receives 180-Day Jail Sentence For Drugging Wife’s Drinks To Induce An Abortion

A 39-year-old Houston attorney named Mason Herring has been sentenced to 180 days in jail and 10 years on probation after drugging his wife’s drinks in an attempt to induce an abortion, reports ABC Houston

Herring pleaded guilty to injury to a child and assault of a pregnant person, although he had originally been charged with felony assault to induce abortion. Catherine Herring, who has filed for divorce, expressed her dissatisfaction with the length of the jail sentence. She shared that their 1-year-old daughter, who was born about 10 weeks premature, is facing developmental delays and attends therapy eight times a week.

“I do not believe that 180 days is justice for attempting to kill your child seven separate times,”

Catherine Herring said. Catherine told authorities she became suspicious when she fell ill after drinking from a cloudy cup her husband had given her. She later discovered packaging for the abortion drug misoprostol in the trash.

She handed over videos from hidden cameras in her home, showing her husband mixing something in her drink. Mason Herring’s attorney believes the plea deal and sentence are fair.

  • Bill Cosby Faces New Lawsuit From Singer Morganne Picard Alleging Actor Drugged and Raped Her In The Late 1980s

Bill Cosby Faces New Lawsuit From Singer Morganne Picard Alleging Actor Drugged and Raped Her In The Late 1980s

Renowned comedian Bill Cosby is confronted with yet another lawsuit, this time by singer Morganne Picard, who claims he drugged and sexually assaulted her in the late 1980s, according to USA Today

Cosby allegedly coerced Picard into drinking intoxicating beverages on multiple occasions between 1987 and 1990. She claims to have been rendered unconscious and raped by Cosby at his residence, waking up in a hotel room with vaginal soreness. Picard also accuses Kaufman Astoria Studios, Astoria Studios LP II, the Carsey-Warner Company, and NBCUniversal of failing to stop Cosby’s abuse.

No response has been received from Kaufman Astoria Studios, the Carsey-Warner Company, or NBCUniversal. Picard’s lawsuit accuses Cosby of battery, assault, and emotional distress, while the other defendants are being sued for negligence. Cosby’s representative, Andrew Wyatt, denies the allegations.

“It is disappointing to see that these alleged distractors are able to monetize false allegations against Mr. Cosby,”

Andrew Wyatt, said in a statement to PEOPLE.

    Wyatt added,

“Mr. Cosby continues to invoke his Constitutional Rights by saying, ‘Not Guilty’ and vehemently denying all of these alleged allegations waged against him.”

The Adult Survivors Act allows adult victims to sue alleged abusers for older sexual crimes within a one-year window, regardless of the Statute of Limitations. This window closes on Thanksgiving 2024.

This lawsuit adds to Cosby’s legal battles. Previously, former model Victoria Valentino filed a lawsuit alleging Cosby drugged and raped her in 1969.

Five women also accused Cosby of sexual assault, battery, and emotional distress. Cosby, who has faced accusations from over 60 women, was convicted in 2018 but later released in 2021 after his conviction was vacated.

  • Husband Accused of Drugging His Wife and Allowing At Least 51 Men To Rape Her While He Filmed It, Occurred Over a Decade-long

Husband Accused of Drugging His Wife and Allowing At Least 51 Men To Rape Her While He Filmed It, Occurred Over a Decade-long

A French man was busted for allegedly drugging his wife and inviting nearly 51 men to rape her while she was unconscious for over a 10-year period, NY Post reported. Police say he recorded each assault on his hidden camera.

The husband has been identified as Dominique P, reports reveal. According to a court filing obtained by local French outlet La Monde, Dominique had been mixing his wife’s dinner with an anti-anxiety drug called Lorazepam since 2011. The drug, unbeknownst to her, would cause her extreme fatigue and absent-mindedness.

In 2020, authorities discovered disturbing videos of the helpless woman after Dominique was busted trying to snap a video of another woman in a changing room with the same camera. Police say the videos were saved to a USB under a file named

    “ABUSES.”

A total of 51 men, between the ages of 26 and 73, were caught on video assaulting the victim. They have all been charged with rape, reports reveal. It is unclear what charges the husband is facing for his alleged role.

The couple had been married for 50 years and share three adult children. Dominique told police that his wife is a

    “saint”

    and

    “the love of his life.”

According to prosecutors, the woman broke down in tears when she was told the news. She was given medical tests that revealed she was suffering from four different sexually transmitted diseases. She has since filed for divorce.

  • Woman Arrested After Allegedly Poisoning Veterinarian Husband’s Coffee With Animal Euthanasia Drugs

Woman Arrested After Allegedly Poisoning Veterinarian Husband’s Coffee With Animal Euthanasia Drugs

A woman in Madison, Wisconsin has been charged with attempted first-degree intentional homicide after allegedly poisoning her veterinarian husband with animal euthanasia drugs on three separate occasions in July and August.

In March of last year, Amanda and Gary Chapin were married. After the wedding, the bride forged the signature of one of her husband’s children on a power-of-attorney document and demanded that the groom amend his house dead so that she would get their home if he were to die. Less than three weeks later, she began poisoning his coffee, People reported.

After the third alleged poisoning, the newlywed fell into a coma that lasted four days. Blood work showed that drugs the veterinarian would use to euthanize animals were in his system. After Mr. Chapin’s son discovered this, he filed a restraining order against his new stepmother on his incapacitated father’s behalf.

The following month, Amanda Chapin violated the restraining order by emailing her husband a suicide note. She claimed to be distraught by the accusations and write that she planned to take her own life. “The only thing I am guilty of is loving you SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH,” she wrote. After being transported to a nearby hospital, Mrs. Chapin survived the attempt. Gary Chapin filed for divorce the next day.

On December 28th, Amanda Chapin was arrested by the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office and is being held on a $10,000 bond. She is scheduled to appear in court on January 12th.
