In a podcast episode of The Run-Through with Vogue, A$AP Rocky confessed to taking items from Rihanna’s wardrobe. He mentioned that some clothes may have been taken without her knowing, according to PageSix.
Regarding his style of dressing, he shared, “Man, pardon my language, I do what the f—k I want… I want to represent, I want to be a catalyst for daring men.”
“I don’t know who drew the line between femininity — or just being feminine — and masculinity, excuse me. I don’t know who drew that line, but I don’t see any barriers for me,” he continued.
He revealed that it isn’t fair that RiRi can borrow his clothes to style with her own pieces. He added, “that goes both ways” revealing that some of her clothes “she don’t know that [he] actually stole.”
However, it is no secret to him that she also borrows his clothes. The rapper added, “Sometimes you can see her on an interview or see a paparazzi photo like, ‘Wait. There goes my Miu Miu f—king jacket! Like, what the f—k? I was looking for that since 2021.’”
LVMH Moet Hennessey Louis Vuitton (LVMH) and its ex-Vice President of Legal Affairs, Andowah Newton, are now in federal court due to an ongoing legal dispute, per The Fashion Law. Newton has filed a new complaint, accusing the luxury goods company of sexual harassment, assault, and creating a hostile work environment that led to her termination. If you’re unaware, Newton previously filed a suit against the company back in April 2019 in New York State.
In her 79-page complaint, Newton details the sexual harassment and assault she experienced from Lloyd Doran, LVMH’s Director of Property and Facility Operations. Despite reporting the incidents, her pleas for help were ignored until she sent an email to Doran as instructed by LVMH’s employment counsel. However, this led to immediate retaliation from LVMH after Doran reported her to his supervisor by
“forwarding the email to his [boss].”
Newton claims that LVMH attempted to intimidate her and downplay the harassment she faced, blaming it on the company’s French culture. She filed a complaint with LVMH’s HR, requesting an external investigation. However, she believes the investigation was limited and aimed at silencing her. As a result, she had no choice but to file a lawsuit in April 2019.
After LVMH succeeded in compelling arbitration, Newton accused them of violating the “New York State and City Human Rights Laws” through sexual harassment, assault, and retaliation. Newton argues that LVMH intensified the hostile work environment in retaliation to her lawsuit. The CEO’s email to staff members, branding Newton as a liar, contributed to her exclusion from her team.
Newton alleges that her coworkers and LVMH’s General Counsel, Louise Firestone, persistently retaliated against her, causing a continuous hostile work environment. This included denying her remote work accommodation for PTSD, giving her a negative performance review despite prior positive ones, reducing her compensation increase, excluding her from work events, and intentionally tarnishing her reputation in the press.
Newton claims that LVMH created a hostile work environment after she testified in support of a federal law banning forced arbitration for survivors of sexual assault and harassment. She states that LVMH fired her in a humiliating manner to pressure her into quitting, despite knowing it would be unlawful.
Newton alleges that the sexual harassment and retaliation she faced at LVMH caused severe distress, anxiety, and PTSD. She also claims to have developed additional medical conditions due to the hostile work environment. Newton is seeking monetary damages for lost wages, benefits, and emotional injury caused by the defendant’s unlawful conduct.
With the Ending Forced Arbitration of Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment Act (EFASASHA) in effect, Newton’s case may have a different outcome. The law allows victims of sexual assault and harassment to pursue claims in court, even if they have an arbitration agreement. LVMH denies Newton’s claims and states that her exit was part of a department restructuring.

It seems that Billy Porter won’t be attending the Met Gala next year, breaking his annual tradition. According to a report from RadarOnline, the fashion sensation had his invitation
“revoked”
due to his derogatory remarks about industry icon Anna Wintour.
Porter expressed his frustration with Vogue’s controversial December 2020 cover, where former One Direction member Harry Styles wore a dress. The ‘Pose’ star, known for his gender-fluid fashion choices, claimed to be the trailblazer who
“changed the world”
by wearing a tuxedo dress at the 2019 Oscars. Despite his accomplishments, he felt overlooked for the historic cover opportunity.
Although Porter later apologized for his comments, he reiterated his disapproval in a recent interview. Allegedly, he disclosed having a conversation with Wintour herself before Styles graced the magazine cover. Porter claimed that Wintour sought his insights on how Vogue could contribute to this groundbreaking era of fashion he spearheaded.
“That b*tch said to me at the end, ‘How can we do better?’ And I was so taken off guard that I didn’t say what I should have said,”
Porter said in the interview. Porter also claims that the Grammy Award winner, only landed the cover because he’s
“white and straight.”
“It doesn’t feel good to me. You’re using my community — or your people are using my community — to elevate you. You haven’t had to sacrifice anything,”
It appears that Porter’s remarks did not sit well with Wintour and resulted in the withdrawal of his Met Gala invitation.
“While Billy is a sensation on the fashion scene, the designers have rallied behind Anna, a true titan of the industry,”
a source told the outlet.

H&M is accusing the fast-fashion retailer, SHEIN of stealing its designs
“in multiple cases,”
according to a spokesperson cited in the report. H&M originally filed its lawsuit against SHEIN back in 2022 at a hearing in Hong Kong.
According to second-hand sources, H&M began building this case against SHEIN since at least 2021. The online fashion site is no stranger to these allegations as they were hit with a RICO charge, just earlier last week. Three designers filed a complaint against SHEIN claiming that the Chinese fast-fashion retailer copied their designs.
In 2022, SHEIN was worth $100 billion, more than their fast-fashion forerunners H&M and Zara combined, according to Business Insider.
SHEIN is also battling the Chinese e-retailer Temu in court for infringing upon its
“exclusive and valuable trademark,”
according to The Fashion Law. The lawsuit was filed on December 22 however, Temu has since filed a new lawsuit accusing SHEIN of a
“scheme of coerced exclusivity, threats, intimidation, and direct financial punishments.”
