Maryland Man Steals Car And Crutches From Tinder Date, Leaving Amputee Stranded In The Cold

A man from Prince George’s County, Maryland is facing multiple charges after using a popular dating app to find potential victims, The Washington Post reported.

On February 2nd, Rodney Richardson met a man from Tinder who was an amputee. Instead of going on their planned date, Richardson robbed the man, taking his phone, wallet, and car. The victim, who was left without the crutches he needed to walk, was left stranded in the cold.

“The victim began to crawl on his hands and knees as he was unable to walk due to being an amputee,” court documents state. “[He] hid in a nearby ditch, fearing the suspect would return.”

Eight days later, Richardson invited another Tinder date to his home in Brandywine, where he raped the man at gunpoint. He then demanded that the victim give him his phone, ID, and Social Security Number, and forced him into the trunk of the stolen car. The next morning, Richardson drove the victim to a nearby bank and made him withdraw $4,500.

“Very disturbing,” said Major Zachary O’Lare from the Prince George’s County Police Department. “The fact that he was armed makes it very disturbing and heinous types of crimes to the police department.”

On Monday, after both victims identified Richardson in photos, the 26-year-old was arrested and charged with with rape, kidnapping, assault, armed carjacking, robbery, extortion, and reckless endangerment. He is currently being held in jail without bond.

    “I’ll kill you,”

before shots rang out hitting 39-year-old Leevon Smith.

The series of events was captured on surveillance footage and later released by Chicago’s Civilian Office of Police Accountability (COPA). After the first two shots were fired Smith is heard saying,

  • Mother Forced To Rob Bank To Save Kidnapped Daughter Shares Her Story Over Twenty Years Later

Mother Forced To Rob Bank To Save Kidnapped Daughter Shares Her Story Over Twenty Years Later

On the night of November 21st, in the year 2000, a masked man and woman entered the home of Michelle Renee in San Diego County, California. After binding her and her 7-year-old daughter, Breea, with duct tape, and with guns at their heads, the duo explained what they wanted.

“It was very much that mind control thing that they were doing, that, ‘we know everything about you,’” Renee said in an interview with CBS. They told her that they knew her day-to-day routine, and that she was a branch manager at a nearby bank. “You’re gonna rob the bank for us,” she remembers them telling her. “Or you will die, your daughter will go first.”

The following morning, Renee walked out of the bank with $360,000. After handing the money over to the masked couple, she ran back to her home, terrified about what she may find. “I don’t know if Breea’s gonna be there,” Renee thought. “I don’t know if she’s gonna be alive when I get there.”

Fortunately, Breea was there when Renee returned to her home. After a bomb squad examined the “dynamite,” they determined that they had been fake- made out of two broomstick handles that were painted and taped together to look like dynamite. Christopher Butler and his fiancée Lisa Ramirez, were later arrested for kidnapping and bank robbery.

In June, 2002, the suspects were tried together in two trials. Despite Ramirez previously confessing to the crime on camera, the judge ruled it inadmissible in court. The defendant’s lawyer then attacked Renee’s credibility, suggesting she was somehow involved. “They treated me like a criminal,” Renee explained. “They were trying to paint me as somebody that was irresponsible.” After five days of deliberation, the jury found Butler guilty of the robbery and kidnapping, but Ramirez was not, and left a free woman.

In an interview with Tracy Smith, Renee will be sharing her story on CBS’ “48 Hours,” on February 11th at 10/9c, and streaming on Paramount+.

22-Year-Old Woman Accused Of Robbing Two Men She Met On Dating Website, Reports Say She Robbed Men At Gunpoint With Accomplice

A woman from Memphis has allegedly robbed two men she originally met on dating websites while an accomplice held the victims at gunpoint, police say, reports FOX. Officials in Memphis charged 22-year-old Adrionna Dull with

“aggravated robbery, aggravated kidnappings, identity theft and attempt to fraudulently use a credit or debit card,”

    according to the news outlet.

On Sunday, the woman reportedly invited a date to her Memphis home and

“forced him to reveal his passwords to his financial accounts”

as her accomplice held the victim at gunpoint. The woman took her date’s phone, debit card, car keys, and $300 in cash before fleeing with his vehicle and going to an ATM to take money out of his account. The date informed officials that her accomplice held him at gunpoint until the 22-year-old returned. He admitted that he was held at gunpoint for three house, according to an affidavit. When the woman returned, she gave him back his car keys and

“threatened to kill him if he didn’t hurry up and leave.”

Her unidentified date also claimed Dull hacked into all of his accounts including his bank account, Apple account, as well as social media account while posing as him. However, this isn’t Dull’s first rodeo. Back in December, the 22-year-old has been accused of stealing from another victim she met on an online dating site. Reports say she stole $2,000 from him after taking his phone as her accomplice held a gun to him, court documents allege.
