    According to Y Entertainment, before the Academy Awards, Randolph had already swept numerous accolades for her performance as Mary Lamb, a grieving cafeteria manager at a New England boarding school in ‘The Holdovers’.

    In January, she won Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in Any Motion Picture at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards, competing against Blunt, Brooks, Foster, Julianne Moore from

    Rosamund Pike from

    ‘Saltburn’.

    The following month, Randolph beat Blunt, Brooks, Foster, and Penélope Cruz from

    According to Collider, ever since the Academy Awards were called out for ignoring female and non-white filmmakers in every ceremony, change has surfaced in each coming year. And for the very first time in its history, the Oscar Awards have recorded three films out of the ten nominated in the category for Best Picture to be directed by women.

    The woman-directed films that have been recognized and nominated in this category include Barbie, Past Lives, and Anatomy of a Fall. This is the first time that three female auteurs have been nominated at the same time in the category.

    The

    “auteur”

    designation signifies that the directors also wrote or co-wrote their movies, suggesting they had bigger creative control over the material. Anatomy of a Fall was directed by French filmmaker Justine Triet, Past Lives by Celine Song, and Barbie by Greta Gerwig.

    However, that’s not the only category in which the Academy Awards are celebrating the work of the three women. Barbie received seven other nominations, Past Lives received two nods, and Anatomy of a Fall claimed five nominations.

    Ready Player Two In The Works, Steven Spielberg Confirms

    According to Showbiz, the story was inspired by the Ernest Cline novel, Ready Player One, which was released in 2018. The synopsis of the film reads

    “In the year 2045, the real world is a harsh place. The only time Wade Watts truly feels alive is when he escapes to the OASIS, an immersive virtual universe where most of humanity spends their days.”

    “In the OASIS, you can go anywhere, do anything, and be anyone, the only limits are your imagination,”

    read the synopsis.

    According to Showbiz 411, the news concerning the sequel development first broke in 2020 and most recently, a massive step has been enforced toward production as Steven Spielberg has confirmed Ready Player Two is now in development and it will star the returning Tye Sheridan as Wade/Parzival.

    Story details on Ready Player Two have not been revealed at the time of writing, but full production is expected to begin in 2025. The audience expects that Steven Spielberg will once again direct and co-produce the sequel.

    Due to full production potentially not happening until 2025, it is safe to predict that the release across cinemas is two or three years away.

    Now You See Me 3 Gets The Green light for Production in The Coming Months

    Reports by The Direct says to get ready for an enchanting comeback to the realm of illusion and magic with the impending release of the much anticipated magical heist film, Now You See Me 3. The movie has been in the making for several years now, following the release of its predecessor in 2016. The journey towards the third installment gained momentum in April 2020 when Lionsgate enlisted Eric Warren Singer, the Oscar-nominated writer of Top Gun: Maverick and American Hustle to pen the script.

    More recently it was revealed that the Studio had hired Venom and Uncharted director Ruben Fleischer to helm the affair of the movie. At the same time, The Lego Batman Movie scribe Seth Grahame-Smith came on board and rewrote the script.

    The news of the impending production moves on the movie was revealed during an investor call back in Nov. by Lionsgate’s Motion Picture Group Chair Joe Drake, who confirmed the

    “reimagined”

    Now You See Me the threequel is going to start production in the spring. Director Ruben Fleischer revealed his excitement to collaborate with Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson and the incredible cast of the Now You See Me franchise with such admission. The Filmmaker has confirmed that Eisenberg will reprise his role and all of the other magical casts on the project. There’s no expected release date but if and when production kicks off it is estimated that the fall of 2025 will be the most feasible for the Theatrical release.

    The anticipation level for the movie has been high among magic buffs and moviegoers as we wait for some magical showing from the cast and production crew.
