    Kanye West Wanted Windows, and Electricity Removed From His Home To Make ‘Retro Bomb Shelter’, Lawsuit Says

    A new lawsuit claims Kanye West, 46, asked his project manager and property caretaker Tony Saxon, 32, to convert his Malibu home into a retro bomb shelter, where he could allegedly hide from the Clintons and Kardashians. Saxon says he was fired for refusing to redo Ye’s beach house he bought in 2021 for $57 million. Saxon says Ye wanted no windows, plumbing nor electricity, and wanted to replace the stairs with slides.

    Saxon told NBC News,

    “[Ye wants] a bomb shelter from the 1910s. We were going to be gutting everything out and sort of building him a Bat Cave [where he said he could] hide from the Clintons and Kardashians. He wanted no electricity. He only wanted plants, candles, battery lights; and to have everything open and dark. You can’t keep food in that house, because you had no refrigerator left. You had no windows. I had sea gulls flying in.”

    Saxon said Ye didn’t want to be a

    “slave”

    to modern conveniences, nor be

    “accessible”

    to the government;

    “he wants to be on a privatized Wi-Fi network and have an alternate source of energy.”

    He said the living conditions were

    “miserable,”

    and he even began experiencing a severe back injury, which Ye allegedly ignored.

    Three days later, Ye had a team meeting and told Saxon to bring in large generators, but when he refused, he was allegedly told to

    “get the hell out. If you don’t do what I say, you’re not going to work for me, I’m not gonna be your friend anymore and you’ll just see me on TV.”

    Saxon said he was fired on Nov. 5, 2021, after 2 months on the job. Saxon said Ye promised him $20,000/week and only paid him twice; so he’s suing for wrongful retaliatory termination, unpaid wages, and labor code violations (hazardous working conditions). His suit was filed by the same attorneys who are suing Ye over similar

    “no windows, no electricity”

    demands and hazardous conditions at his private Christian school, Donda Academy, and its predecessor, Yeezy Christian Academy.

    Diddy Scores First Round Victory in Diversity Lawsuit Against Diageo

    Sean “Diddy” Combs has scored a first-round victory in his lawsuit against Diageo, the liquor company that owns Ciroc vodka. In a ruling on Friday, New York Supreme Court Judge Joel M. Cohen denied Diageo’s motion to dismiss the lawsuit, which alleges that the company discriminated against Combs and other Black entrepreneurs in its marketing of Ciroc.

    The lawsuit, which was filed in May 2023, claims that Diageo has used

    “coded language”

    and

    “stereotypes”

    to market Ciroc to Black consumers, while simultaneously marketing the brand to white consumers as a

    “luxury”

    product. The lawsuit also alleges that Diageo has excluded Black entrepreneurs from its marketing and distribution channels, and that it has refused to give them the same opportunities as white entrepreneurs.

    In his ruling, Judge Cohen said that Combs had

    “plausibly alleged”

    that Diageo had discriminated against him and other Black entrepreneurs. He also said that the lawsuit could proceed to the discovery phase, where both sides will be able to gather evidence.

    “The complaint alleges that Diageo has engaged in a pattern and practice of discrimination against Black entrepreneurs in the marketing and distribution of Ciroc,”

    Judge Cohen wrote.

    “These allegations are sufficient to state a claim for discrimination.”

    The ruling is a major victory for Combs and his legal team, and it could have implications for other Black entrepreneurs who have faced discrimination in the alcohol industry. Diageo has denied the allegations of discrimination, and it has said that it will appeal the ruling.

    Yeap; you heard right. It gets even crazy when they go further to say

    “you don’t do anything, you just stand there”,

    Hold that thought; it gets creepier when this brings you fame, admiration, and love from people at the same time becomes your downfall.

    Nicolas Cage plays a character you probably wouldn’t notice in real life: Paul Matthews, a schlubby, balding man in rumpled pants and brown leather loafers, he’s a tenured evolutionary biology professor desperate to get published despite not writing. The opening scene of the trailer let’s us into a chaotic world, a thrilling space with flicking lights.

    Paul starts to appear in people’s dreams, either standing around or just strolling through, and suddenly this all-but-invisible man has people paying attention to him. The music raises the pulse in every scene, it’s an entertaining dark comedy movie, Cage’s performance is pure comedy, It’s different from your favorite films from Nicolas, he’s at the top of his game, like Paul, Nicolas feels so special performing in this film, most actors only dream of a role as memorable as Paul Matthews.

    What does Paul do? What would you do in those terrible shoes of his? The movie’s point of identification here is Paul, so it’s slightly unusual but also the most entertaining thing about the movie “Dream Scenario” allows us into the subconscious of other characters. Paul may appear in their dreams, but he’s not the one making it happen, and he has no access to those memories.

    One of the African-American top artists, Aliaune Damala Bouga Time Puru Nacka Lu Lu Lu Badara Akon Thiam, popularly known as Akon, recently let out his master strategy on how he maintains his wealth. As reported by the Daily Post, the famed artist had a chat in the latest episode of Impulsive Podcast, where he revealed how stinginess helps him stay rich.

    According to the 50-year-old record producer, it’s important to be stingy or tight-handed to maintain a wealthy status. This is why he has referred to himself as

    “the stingiest man on the planet”

    during the interview on the podcast.

    He further advised listeners, his colleagues, and other wealthy folks to avoid owning a private jet if they want to remain rich. Citing the cost of maintaining a private jet, he highlighted that such expense can be completely avoided. In his words:


    “Whatever you do, do not own a [private] jet. Bro, owning a jet is spending at least 2-3 million dollars a year just for upkeep.”

    The influential figure went on to reveal that the cost of maintaining a private jet is more than the cost of getting a new one. So, as a rich or wealthy person, the artist believes it’s important to be prudent when spending because the money has to last for a lifetime.

    Although Akon’s choice of the word

    Despite the disturbing nature of this news, it seems that T.I.’s son, King, has chosen to promote the challenge further. In a video shared by King himself, he can be seen encouraging a homeless man to take on the ‘one-chip challenge’ in exchange for $50. 

    In the video, King specifies that the man will only receive the money under the condition that he wait five minutes after swallowing the chip before drinking any water. This viral video has ignited significant criticism of King on various online platforms. 

    “I just think it’s so f—ed up to antagonize homeless people like wtf do you get out that you know they need money but u make them jump through hoops it’s soo foul I hate this world,”

Nearly an inch of precipitation flooded the area starting on Friday, prompting organizers to close access to the festival until conditions improved.

    Despite various challenges such as stuck vehicles, overflowing port-a-potties, delayed bus pickups, and unreliable Wi-Fi, NPR spoke to several attendees who remained upbeat despite the damp weather.

    “We’re pooling all our food as far as resources. And I would say honestly, walking around the city, spirits are pretty high,”

    attendee Anya Kamenetz told the outlet. 

    According to event volunteer Josh Lease, individuals at the event embody the true essence of Burning Man by generously sharing warm clothes and phone chargers whenever possible. Additionally, the atmosphere is filled with

    “blaring”

    music.

    “It’s like any other Burning Man, just muddy,”

    he told NPR. 

    Meanwhile, authorities in Nevada were investigating a fatality that occurred at the site. The Pershing County Sheriff’s Office, as reported by KNSD-TV, revealed on Saturday that an individual had passed away during the event. However, it is unclear whether the death was potentially caused by the weather conditions.
