    Pittsburgh Man Arrested For Shooting Wife And Leaving Her Stranded On Highway

    A man in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania has been located and arrested almost two months after shooting his wife and leaving her on a highway ramp, CBS News reports.

    On November 28th, Kevin Crews and his wife began arguing as she was driving on Interstate 579. The argument turned violent, and Crews reportedly shot her in the leg. After being asked to switch seats, so that Crews could take his injured to receive medical care, he got into the driver’s seat, and left her on the side of an exit ramp.

    Investigators temporarily closed off the ramp to investigate as the suspect’s wounded wife was transported by EMTs to a nearby hospital. Though the healing process will take time, she is expected to fully recover.

    This past Saturday, Pittsburgh police received a tip that led officers to the apartment of Crews’ girlfriend, Chelsey McIntosh. Though the suspect was not there, McIntosh confessed to making arrangements for Crews to safely hideout at. Shortly after, the suspect was found in a neighboring apartment.

    “I commend my detectives and personnel for swiftly acting on the information they developed today leading to the apprehension of this dangerous individual,” Sheriff Kevin Kraus said in a statement. “The actions of this defendant represented a clear threat to the victim and the public.”

    Kevin Crews was arrested without incident and charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, and firearms charges. McIntosh has been charged with hindering apprehension.

    Police in Brooklyn, New York are now asking for help to identify a man who reportedly stole a phone and transferred money to himself, Audacy reported.

    On January 8th, at around 11:15 A.M., a man reportedly asked to borrow a cellphone to make a phone call. When the 30-year-old agreed to let him use it, the man fled with their phone. Later that day, the suspect transferred money to himself by accessing the victim’s bank account and Cash App.

    After over a week of investigating, and without any leads, officials have released a photo of the suspect and are now offering a reward to anyone who can give information that will lead to an arrest.

    Pittsburgh Man Arrested After Fatally Stabbing Estranged Wife And Sending Photo Of Her Body To Her Friend


    The Pittsburgh man accused of fatally stabbing his wife, sending photos of her body to her friend, and then fleeing the state has been located and arrested.

    On Thursday, January 5th, when calls and texts to Tarae Washington went unanswered, her father looked for her at her Pittsburgh home. Inside the kitchen, he discovered his daughter’s body, People reported. He then dialed 911 and told dispatchers that his daughter “had been stabbed, is beyond help, and it was not self-inflicted.”

    Investigators noted that there traces of blood throughout the house: the bathroom walls and floor, bathtub, toilet, throughout the second floor’s hallway, the stairwell, the living room, the dining room, and the kitchen. Officials believe that a blood-covered carving knife that was found in the second floor’s hallway was used as the murder weapon.

    According to CBS News, Washington was in the process of divorcing her longtime husband, William Fitzgerald. She had filed for the divorce on November 1st, which was set to be finalized in February. Though her would-be former spouse wanted to reconcile the marriage, the police report states that Washington “was not interested.”

    Photos of Washington with another man were taken from her phone and sent to two people. The first recipient of the photos with a message reading, “This is why she wasn’t answering her phone in Baltimore.” The second person to receive the messages accused Fitzgerald of killing Washington. “Fitzgerald replies to the (witness’) accusations three times within the text message string,” police documents report. “Fitzgerald does not make any attempt to assert his innocence in the replies.” A third person later received a photo of Washington’s body after she was fatally stabbed. “This what y’all got her,” Fitzgerald texted.

    Four days later, on the following Monday, Fitzgerald was located in Morgantown, West Virginia, about 75 miles away from where the incident occurred. He was arrested and will remain in West Virginia pending an extradition hearing. Washington leaves behind two adult children, who have created a GoFundMe page in order to receive help for funeral expenses.

    “She gave so much of herself to us, to her grandkids, to all of her family and friends,” the fundraiser reads. “Her spirit shined like the morning sun, warming those who saw her and spreading joy and hope. It hurts to even write that she’s gone.”

    Witnesses Follow Kidnapper After Seeing Woman Being Forced Into Back Of U-Haul

    On Saturday, January 14, just after 10 P.M., the police department in Bangor, Maine received multiple calls reporting a kidnapping in a Target parking lot. According to NBC affiliate News Center Maine, witnesses reported seeing a woman being grabbed and forced into a U-Haul rental van.

    When the van drove away, two of the witnesses attempted to follow it, staying on the phone with dispatchers to inform authorities of its location. Eventually, they lost the moving van’s location, but police were able to track it down on a nearby freeway, and Bangor Police Department officers was able to make the arrest.

    The driver of the van has now been identified as Colby Cooper from Brewer, Maine. According to police records, the 21-year-old is the former boyfriend of the victim. Cooper has now been charged with kidnapping, eluding, and domestic violence assault, and remains in Penobscot County Jail.

    The husband of the Tennessee police officer accused of having sex with six of her coworkers says he’s sticking beside her, Dailymail reported per the NY Post

    Jedidiah Hall’s wife, Officer Maegan Hall of the La Vergne, Tenn., police department, was terminated after an investigation found that she had sex with several coworkers, sent them nude pictures,

    “took off her top at a ‘Girls Gone Wild’-themed hot tub party,”

    and performed oral sex on two other officers while on duty.

    The ‘internal affairs’ led to the firings of Sgt. Lewis Powell, Officer Juan Lugo, Sgt. Ty McGowan and Detective Seneca Shields, according to the outlet. Officers Patrick Magliocco and Larry Holladay, who allegedly also had relations with Maegan Hall, remained on the force but were suspended.

    Maegan Hall had told her coworkers that she was in an open marriage, investigators said per the outlet. Jedidiah, who is also the son of a pastor, was not open to the idea. At the time of the allegations, Jedidiah was reportedly training to become a Tennessee Highway Patrol but stepped down after the allegations against his wife became public.

    He is now working on

    “salvaging his marriage,”

    according to his boss Coffee County Sheriff Chad Partin.

    “I don’t condone what went on at the La Vergne Police Department but he sure hasn’t broken any laws. He’s the victim here. There’s not a blemish on his record. He is doing a phenomenal, phenomenal job,”

    Partin added.

    Investigation Underway After YSL RICO Defendant Allegedly Smuggled Weed Into Jail

    It looks like the YSL RICO trial will experience yet another delay after one of the defendants attempted to smuggle weed inside the Fulton County Jail, AllHipHop reported. 

    According to Jozsef Papp, a reporter for the Atlanta-Journal Constitution, Judge Ural Glanville, who is presiding over Young Thug’s RICO case, announced an investigation into a YSL defendant who received contraband while awaiting trial.

    “Judge Glanville just announced that there is going to be an investigation after someone brought clothing for one of the defendants with contraband (marijuana) in the shoes,”

    Papp tweeted.

    “Glanville said one of the defendants also refused with cooperating this morning (taking a shower and getting dressed) and defendants during transport yesterday were causing problems.”

    Just earlier this week a potential juror made headlines after being told by Judge Glanville to write a 30-page essay for missing jury duty to attend her trip to the Dominican Republic, per WSB-TV. 

    Young Thug and 13 members of his YSL crew continue to await trial as the court determines the jury selection.

    A former NYPD officer, who was fired for allegedly assaulting the mother of his child and drunk driving, was reportedly stabbed to death in Staten Island on Wednesday by a man in black clothing, police say per Fox News

    Police identified Nicholas Nelson, 37, was identified as the victim. Nelson was reportedly walking with his children when he got into a heated exchange with the unidentified suspect. Sources say Nelson dropped his kids home before returning to the scene to further confront the suspect. The man, who witnesses say was wearing all black and a ski mask allegedly stabbed Nelson in the neck before fleeing the scene on foot. 

    He was transported by EMS to Richmond University Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injury. 

    Nelson joined the NYPD in 2008 and was terminated in May 2021 for allegedly attacking his then-girlfriend and drunk driving. Nelson reportedly

    “punched her repeatedly, pulled her hair, and dragged her to the floor”

    in 2012 and got into a car accident in 2018 after driving under the influence. He received a 30-day suspension and pleaded guilty to DUI.

    A former personal injury lawyer will be sitting behind bars after robbing her clients of millions to take luxury trips to a nudist resort, an African safari, and other destinations, federal prosecutors said per the NY Post

    Lori E. Deveny, 57, of Portland, Oregon embezzled more than $3.8 million from at least 135 clients between 2011 and 2019 and then used the money to

    “bankroll a lavish lifestyle,”

    the U.S. Department of Justice said in a press release. Court documents reveal that Denvey posed as her clients to forge insurance checks and deposit the money into her personal bank account. Denvey would then trick her clients into thinking the money will be deposited into their accounts. 

    According to DOJ per NY Post reports, Denvey paid $150,000 on foreign and domestic airline tickets, $173,000 on an African safari and big game hunting trips, and $60,000 on trips to a luxury nudist resort in Palm Springs, California. She also purchased $220,000 in cigars, $91,000 on a Cadillac and recreational vehicle expenses, paid $195,000 on her mortgage, and spent $35,000 on taxidermy expenses, reports reveal. 

    Deveny pleaded guilty in June 2022 to

    “money laundering, filing a false tax return, and two counts of aggravated identity theft.”

    She was sentenced to more than 8 years in prison. The judge also ordered her to pay more than $4.5 million in restitution to her victims.

    Ex-Playboy Model Murdered ‘Sugar Daddy’ After Her Stopped Paying Rent, Police Say

    A former Playboy model is behind bars for her involvement in the death of her 71-year-old ‘sugar daddy’ after he stopped paying her rent, Metro News reported. 

    Kelsey Turner, 29, and her then-boyfriend, Jon Kennison were charged with the murder of Dr. Thomas Buchard, a California psychiatrist. The pair is accused of beating the doctor to death with a

    “blunt instrument”

    and then stuffing his lifeless body in the trunk of Turner’s car, detectives confirmed per reports. Police say they discovered Buchard’s body in the abandoned vehicle outside of Las Vegas, near Lake Mead, in March 2019.

    According to police records, Buchard had been paying Turner $3,200 every month for two years to assist with her rent cost. Judy Earp, who was Dr. Burchard’s fiancé at the time, told the outlet that her fiance had given Turner around $300,000 to be her ‘sugar daddy’. 

    Turner and Kennison were arrested as well as their roommate Diana Pena who police say helped clean up the crime scene. Turner was charged with second-degree murder and sentenced to 10 to 25 years on Tuesday. Jennison will serve 18 to 45 years for murder and conspiracy and the roommate, Pena awaits sentencing for being an accessory to the crime, reports reveal.
