Squatters Arrested After Hosting ‘Illegal Strip Club’ Out Of Atlanta Home, Neighbors Say They Even Had ‘Lives Horses’ From Time To Time

Four men have been arrested in Atlanta after allegedly squatting in a home and operating a strip club from the residence, according to RadarOnline.com

Local residents had complained about the disruptive behavior of the individuals, who were said to be partying at all hours and running

“an illegal strip club on the weekends,”

one neighbor told the local outlet.

The neighbors also reported piles of trash, street racing, and even live horses outside the property.

    “They would get live horses,”

    one neighbor explained to WSB-TV.

Despite previous complaints to the police, action was finally taken on October 15 when a SWAT team raided the home. The police discovered stolen cars, a stolen gun, and stolen IDs and credit cards on the premises, reports note. The four squatters, identified as DeAnthony Maddox, Jeremy Wheat, Kelvin Hall, and Tarahsjay Forde, have been arrested and are facing multiple charges, including theft by receiving stolen property.

  • Black Man’s Relationship to Multiracial Children Questioned on American Airlines Flight Spurs Investigation

Black Man’s Relationship to Multiracial Children Questioned on American Airlines Flight Spurs Investigation

A passenger flying with American Airlines says he was greeted by police upon arrival in Los Angeles after a flight attendant expressed worries about the safety of his children and questioned their relation to him, per Insider

David Ryan Harris, who is Black, traveled from Atlanta to Los Angeles on September 15 with his two multiracial children. According to Harris, the flight attendant grew suspicious when his 7-year-old son, who he described as

    “rather reserved,”

did not respond when she attempted to initiate a conversation and ask for his name.

“Upon our arrival in Los Angeles, we were met at the top of the jetway by an AA employee and four police officers,”

Harris said in an Instagram video documenting the incident.

“Apparently, a flight attendant had called ahead with some sort of concern that perhaps my mixed children weren’t my children because they were unresponsive.”

“I wanted to go through the roof,”

he said, adding that he didn’t want to lose his temper in front of his kids. The police later interviewed his children and concluded that they were indeed his own, according to Harris. However, he mentioned that the American Airlines staff member did not offer any kind of compensation for the distressing encounter.

Harris suggested that if the flight attendant had concerns about the children’s relationship with him, she could have easily checked their shared last name or their linked Frequent Flyer accounts.

“There were many steps that she could have taken before she lobbed the hand grenade of having the authorities called,”

Harris said in a video. He described it as

    “completely poor form”

on the part of the airline.

An American Airlines representative later reached out to Harris after seeing his story on X, formally known as Twitter. He was offered 10,000 air miles, which he took but described as

    “kinda insulting”

    in a video.

“We strive to create a positive, welcoming environment for everyone who travels with us and apologize for any misunderstanding that may have occurred,”

an American Airlines spokesperson told Insider. It is unclear what repercussions were held against the flight attendant who reported Harris.

  • Popeyes Employees Being Sued After Reportedly Attacking Woman Who Attempted To Have Her Order Corrected

Popeyes Employees Being Sued After Reportedly Attacking Woman Who Attempted To Have Her Order Corrected

A current lawsuit alleges that Popeyes staffers in an Atlanta, Georgia location attacked a woman in the drive-thru when she tried to have her order fixed. The incident occurred back in September 2022 at a location on Cleveland Avenue in southwest Atlanta, reports FOX

After the victim, Denetra Dawson tried to correct her order, words were swapped, and then the staffers assaulted her. The employees pulled out a piece of her hair and left her wounded, says a lawsuit filed on Friday. The victim informed Fox 5 Atlanta,

“I didn’t even think I was going to make it back to my kids… I simply went to get food for my kids, I still don’t understand why me.”

Dawson’s attorney, Mawuli Davis, informed the news outlet that one staff member opened the woman’s door, entered the vehicle, and assaulted her. Three staffers were involved in the incident and the attack stopped after Dawson pulled out her gun. She later called officials following the encounter. The report says that a minor, Tenice Taylor, and two others were charged with battery. Another person, Tenister Evans, was charged with misdemeanor obstruction of an officer.

    Davis said,

“They ripped out the braid out of her hair, all the way down to the root.”

    Dawson added,

“They took my identity, I take pride in my hair, I can’t get certain hairstyles.”

The attackers are being sued as well as the organization that owns the restaurant.

    Davis said in a statement,

“This incident is an outrageous example of Popeyes’ failure to prioritize customer safety and well-being… By hiring a manager with a history of violence, Popeyes exhibited a reckless disregard for the safety of their patrons. The manager and two employees exited Popeyes and violently attacked her inside of her car. We are resolute in our commitment to holding the restaurant accountable for their actions and seeking justice for our client.”

Mother Charged With Murder After 7-Year-Old Girl Was Discovered Dead In Closet, Reports Say She Was Left In The Closet For Months

Sadly, a young girl’s body was discovered decaying in an Atlanta home after officials received an anonymous tip. The victim was identified as 7-year-old Alivia Hobbs-Jordan. Although the home was evacuated for months, a man found the apartment door open and smelled a horrible odor, according to Cafemom. PEOPLE reported that the man witnessed an arm hanging out of the closet and instantly contacted officials. The unnamed man recalled,

    “She looked like a mummy.”

Officials believe the mother, Alondra Hobbs, left the autistic girl, at some point, between February 28 and June 25. On June 29, the mother was apprehended and later charged with felony murder and cruelty in the second degree, said The Dekalb County Police Department in a Facebook post.

According to ABC 7, a neighbor informed officials that it’s been several months since they’ve seen the tenant. Another unnamed neighbor informed WSB that earlier in the year, the mother expressed that she wanted to kill herself. The neighbor said,

“Everybody like, ‘Why you want to kill yourself?’ She never said…But she never let you in her apartment. Never.”

Authorities confirmed that the young girl was left in the closet for several months; however, they haven’t confirmed the exact cause of death. PEOPLE reported that officials believe the mother purposely abandoned the child and had no plans of returning to the apartment. When police located the girl in the closet, they found

“what appeared to be a full head of hair and decayed flesh that was in the form of an arm and leg.”

They also discovered mail with the mother’s name on it.

Relatives spoke about the incident, as one family member, Latrience Robinson said,

“I just didn’t see that in her. We all have issues, but I didn’t think she would do something to her kids,”

Fox 5 reported. Robinson told WAGA,

“We had no clue…The baby was supposed to be with the dad’s mom in Albany. That’s what she kept telling us.”

  • Georgia Inmate Found Dead After Being “Eaten Alive” In Bed Bug Infested Jail Cell

Georgia Inmate Found Dead After Being “Eaten Alive” In Bed Bug Infested Jail Cell

The family of an inmate in an Atlanta jail who died after being “eaten alive” by bed bugs and other insects are calling for a criminal investigation into his death, CBS News reported.

On June 12th, Lashawn Thompson was arrested for a misdemeanor battery charge. Due to mental health issues, the 35-year-old was taken to the psychiatric wing of Fulton County Jail. Three months later, he was found dead in his cell. Thompson’s family have now retained a lawyer, Michael Harper, to both call for an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death, and begin the process of an upcoming civil suit.

According to jail records, medical staff were aware that Thompson’s health was deteriorating due to a bed big infestation, but refused to help him. “They literally watched his health decline until he died,” said Harper. “When his body was found one of the detention officers refused to administer CPR because in her words she ‘freaked out.’” In a set of disturbing photos that Harper has released to the public, both Thompson and his jail cell are covered in thousands of bugs. Harper stated the cell was “not fit for a diseased animal.”

With a capacity of over 2,500 inmates, the Fulton County Jail is one of the largest jails within the United States and is notorious for the amount of issues and scandals surrounding it. Officers have been suspects of allowing inmates order food from restaurants, a female officer was caught on video having sexual encounters with an inmate, a deputy’s ear was bitten off, and more. Last month, more than 200 shanks were found, along with other contraband.

“It’s no secret that the dilapidated and rapidly eroding conditions of the current facility make it incredibly difficult to meet the goal of providing a clean, well-maintained and healthy environment for all inmates and staff,” a spokesperson for the jail wrote. “That is why Sheriff Labat continues to call building a new Fulton County Jail and Criminal Justice Complex.”

  • Two Georgia Hospital Employees Arrested After Stealing And Throwing Away Ashes Of Stillborn

Two Georgia Hospital Employees Arrested After Stealing And Throwing Away Ashes Of Stillborn

Two former laundry employees of a suburban Atlanta hospital are now in police custody after allegedly stealing an urn containing the ashes of a stillborn infant and then throwing the ashes away, Action News 5 reported.

In August of last year, Carla Massey gave birth to a stillborn six months into her pregnancy. In order to keep her near for emotional support, the heartbroken parents cremated the infant and placed her ashes within an urn that was put into a teddy bear. While Carla was hospitalized at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, the bear went missing, devastating the couple.

“Losing her plus the ashes was a big heartbreak,” Massey explained in an interview.

The teddy bear was found in a trash can within the hospital’s laundry room the same day, but the urn was not there. After an investigation, the urn was found in the home of two employees, who are also married to each other. Unfortunately, the ashes had been disposed of.

Anilus and Rosnie Frederic were each charged with theft and abandonment of a dead body. Both of the Frederics were released on bail, but are no longer employed by Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. A reason for why the couple decided to steal and discard the infant’s ashes has yet to be revealed, but the victims are relieved to learn of their arrest.

“I pray for them, and hope they get better mentally and physically, but I just don’t understand why they would do something like this,” Massey said.

  • School Bus Driver Out On Bond After Breaking Into 10-Year-Old Girl’s Home

School Bus Driver Out On Bond After Breaking Into 10-Year-Old Girl’s Home

An Atlanta school bus driver was arrested after allegedly breaking into a 10-year-old girl’s home, NY Post reported. He has since been released on bond which has raised serious concerns for the child’s mother.

Gogineni Rayudu, 56, was taken into custody on Tuesday on charges of felony burglary and misdemeanor loitering but was quickly released back onto the streets after posting a $20,000 bond, Thursday, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

Cassie Cea, who is the mother of the young girl said she’s

    “in shock”

by Rayudu’s release and has decided to take matters into her own hands by taking out a restraining order against Rayudu, the report said. According to charging documents obtained by The Post, Cea found Rayudu in her home Tuesday wearing gloves. He reportedly locked the door behind him and asked for Cea. When Cea asked what he was doing in her house Rayudu ran off.

The child was not home at the time of the break-in but Cea is wondering what if she had been.

    “I’m just really freaked out,”

Cea told the newspaper on Friday.

“He was definitely up to something bad — I just don’t know how bad it was,”

    Cea told The Journal-Constitution.

The child’s school bus driver had been reportedly asking her

    “weird questions”

about her family and had visited her neighborhood

    “several times”

before the incident, according to the neighborhood security.

The Cobb County School District said they are working with the police to investigate this matter. Cea however, is contemplating whether her child should continue attending the school.

“My kid’s never getting on a bus again,”

    Cea told the paper.

“I don’t even know if I want her in public school anymore, because are we taking this serious? Or are we just like, ‘Oh, he’s a weirdo’?”
