    DeShawn Snow claims she was blindsided by the news of her ex-husband’s infidelity and their divorce. The former Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) star revealed this during an interview with NeNe Leakes. Snow said her ex-husband filed for a divorce despite her desire to stay married and work things through. Meanwhile, her experience has not discouraged her from wanting to be married, and she expressed her willingness to try again.

    DeShawn Snow’s Ex-Husband Blindsided Her With Divorce News

    DeShawn Snow was with NeNe Leakes on the NeNe Leakes Show this week when she discussed her divorce. Snow was married to former NBA star and Cleveland Cavaliers captain Eric Snow for 12 years. During the interview, published on Wednesday, April 30, DeShawn Snow claimed she never expected the shocking news of her divorce. She also revealed that she would never have chosen to quit her marriage.

    After Leakes asked if she would have filed, Snow said per Onsite, “I didn’t know that we needed to break up… that’s my truth. I didn’t. I was surprised, and then actually we were in counseling, so I thought we were working it out.” She added, “He filed in May. The baby was born in March, and he said… ‘I have a baby on the way,’ so of course he had to tell me, but even then, I wasn’t like, ‘Let’s file.’ I was like, ‘We going to work this out.’” DeShawn Snow said she cried after hearing about Eric’s side baby, but she never thought to leave.

    “That didn’t cross my mind because I was supposed to break the generational curse.’ We can work through it,’ that was my mindset,” she continued. “We were together since freshman year in college, we built a life together, and he loved me, so we were in counseling trying to work through that. But at some point along the line, he decided that’s not what he wanted. He filed, and he gave me the courtesy of letting me know because it was going to be in the papers the next day,” DeShawn Snow concluded.

    NeNe Leakes Claims DeShawn Snow Was Too Committed To Marriage

    An incredulous NeNe Leakes analyzed the situation and told DeShawn Snow she was blindsided by her attachment to marriage. “You’ve always really liked marriage. Even today, you don’t want to be a girlfriend; you want to be a wife, so even today, it would be hard for you to file for divorce. Once you’re committed, you’re committed,” the reality TV star said.

    She continued, “You would have never filed. Even though you know you need to file, you would have never done it.” Leakes claimed DeShawn Snow’s ex-husband filed for the divorce because he knew she would never have let him go. “You didn’t care how bad it got, you were never going to do it,” she told her former co-star.

    Inside DeShawn Snow and Eric Snow’s Divorce 

    Eric Snow filed for divorce from his wife, former RHOA star DeShawn Graves Snow, in May 2010. He filed the papers in Fulton County Superior Court, claiming there was “no hope of reconciliation.” The couple had been married for 12 years, and Eric requested joint custody of their three children.

    The divorce came shortly after it was revealed that the basketball coach was expecting a child with another woman. The woman, later identified as Marisela Alvarado, gave birth to their daughter in August 2010. Eric and Alvarado married after the divorce, while DeShawn Snow remains single. However, she revealed during the interview with Leakes that she still wants to get married and is dating.

    If NeNe Leakes’ analysis is true, DeShawn Snow must have been heartbroken to learn about Eric’s infidelity and their divorce. Thankfully, she seems to have recovered from the trauma and is looking forward to a happily married life again.

    NeNe Leakes appears not to have gotten over her beef with Kandi Burruss. In an interview, the reality TV star revealed that she would rather choose someone else than her co-star. Leakes and Burruss have been feuding for years now. And although it appears all is well, Leakes’ latest statement shows they still don’t mess with each other.

    NeNe Leakes Won’t Invite Kandi Burruss To Sing

    NeNe Leakes has revealed who she would invite to sing at an event on The NeNe Leakes Show on YouTube. She disclosed this during the latest episode of the show, showing that her beef with Kandi Burruss still runs deep. During the show, Leakes’ co-host asked her, “If you’re having an event, would you rather have Kandi sing or Ashley?” The media personality repeated the question and answered firmly that she would go with Real Housewife of Potomac Ashley Darby. Leakes doubled down when asked, “really?”

    NeNe Leakes And Kandi Burruss’ Long-Running Feud

    NeNe Leakes and Kandi Burruss have not had a cordial relationship in a long while. Their beef became prominent in 2020 after Leakes complained about her fellow Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) star. The former took to her YouTube channel in 2020 to report that Burruss was picking on her.

    “For some reason, though, Kandi just can’t be on my side for nothing,” NeNe said in the video. “The fact that this girl, every single season, she sits in her interview and just snaps at me and can never, ever say, ‘NeNe was right about this.’ It just really comes off like hate, you know what I’m saying? She always come off like she’s just hating me so much. Girl, dang! There’s enough space for all of us. She ain’t gotta hate on me,” NeNe stated.

    However, Burruss held a different opinion. On the contrary, she said she tried to get people on her co-star’s side. She also opined that her friendship with former housewife Kenya Moore may have caused her friction with NeNe Leakes. Leakes and Moore were at loggerheads while Moore was on RHOA. “It was so many arguments that happened this year, especially between the two of them. I don’t know if they will ever get to a point where they will be able to be on the same page, but it will be nice. It would be nice,” she told ET.

    NeNe Leakes And Kandi Burruss’ Relationship Worsens

    NeNe Leakes and Kandi Burruss’ relationship didn’t improve, and in June 2022, the singer discussed their beef. When asked about her interactions with NeNe Leakes, Burrus replied, “No, we don’t talk. We don’t have a good relationship in that sense. I don’t know what the future would hold, but as of now, we don’t have a good relationship, so we don’t communicate.” She added, “You can never say never, I would suppose, but as of now, we just aren’t on the same page.”

    Meanwhile, in July 2023, NeNe Leakes said Kandi Burruss didn’t have the bearing of a star. She noted this during an interview with Carlos King on his Reality With The King podcast. At the time, she was no longer on the Bravo show and admitted that she had only seen a few clips of season 15. NeNe Leakes said none of the then-cast, including Burruss, Drew Sidora, Marlo Hampton, Kenya Moore, Shereé Whitfield, and Sanya Richards-Ross, was “truly a star.” She also agreed that the show needed a new lineup.

    NeNe Leakes Says Kandi Burruss Is Overrated

    Leakes said she had settled her beef with Burruss but opted to speak “very freely and very honestly” and downplay the latter’s achievements. She told King:

    “I think that Kandi is not exciting. I just don’t think the camera loves her,” in response to whether Burruss was “overrated and overpaid.” She continued, “I think the camera loves her family, but I don’t think they love her. I don’t think the viewers or anyone else will ever see her as much as they want to make Kandi the star, and [she boasts that] she’s been there for 100 years, and she is her.” She added, “I’ve never seen Kandi as a star. I’ve seen Kandi as a supporting star but not as the star.”

    However, Kandi Burruss disagreed with NeNe Leakes’ estimation. In an interview with ET, she said she doesn’t care about her co-star’s words. She noted that she is the “longest-running Housewife of any franchise,” suggesting that people may not believe NeNe Leakes either. Meanwhile, Burruss seemed to have gotten over their feud as she recommended that Leakes return when the latter left after season 12. We don’t necessarily get along all the time, but I think she’s good TV,” Burruss said.

    Given NeNe Leakes and Kandi Burruss’ history, it wasn’t surprising that she chose Ahley Darby over the former. It might be too much to hope for the duo to become friends again.

    In true Amanda fashion, Amanda Seales is going after The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Nene Leakes for denying she underwent plastic surgery. In her rant, the comedian knocked Leakes for lying about not getting work done on her face. Seales revealed that she wasn’t against plastic surgery, but she wanted those who did it to be honest.

    Nene Leakes Responds to Fan

    Nene Leakes responded to a fan’s comment that she altered her appearance with surgery in November, claiming that everything the fan saw was the effect of her makeup.

    “Nothing,” the businesswoman said in the clip. “Forehead is very wrinkled, very clear,” she said as she zoomed in on her forehead. “It’s just a contour and nose, not a pinched nose,” Leakes concluded as she drew her face closer to the camera to show off her contoured nose.

    Amanda Seales Slams Nene Leakes For Lying

    In an online rant, Amanda Seales has come at reality TV personality Nene Leakes. The podcaster stated that she doesn’t like lies and slammed Leakes for doing that.

    “Ma’am, you done cut out all the mess from your nose. Quit lying to us and, more importantly, to yourself,” Seales began. “I don’t understand this. She always says she has superb makeup. Makeup doesn’t shave the jaw. I want her to just own that she wanted to do this to herself. You got new eyelids, sis. I don’t like it,”  the actress added.

    After saying that Leakes’ “nose is on a path of self-destruction,” Seales clarified that she wasn’t against plastic surgery.

    “We love a glow-up,” she said, adding, “However, if you’re not going to be honest with what you’re doing to yourself, it concerns me that you’re not honest about how you could possibly be harming yourself.”

    Seales also expressed hope that people around Leakes would advise her.

    “So hopefully, she gets some people around her that say, ‘no, it’s not needed today.”

    Fans React To Amanda Seales Nene Leakes Blast

    Several fans didn’t share Seales’ feelings about Leakes. They asked the content creator to stay out of Leakes’ business and wondered why Seales played outside her “sistahs supporting sistahs” persona by slamming another woman. A fan wrote:

    “‘I don’t really have the energy to talk about stuff like this” but then proceeds to find the energy to talk about it…🙄.”

    A second fan commented:

    “Why would she put that much energy and effort into tearing down another black woman and also like here 🤷‍♀️.”

    Many also referred to Seales’ history of crying online after being attacked by other celebrities.

    “Hummmm this won’t end well 😂,” someone wrote.

    Another person responded:

    “This is the same person who is always crying when ppl give her that same energy back.”

    A fifth person said:

    “She could have kept this to herself. What one does to their body is their prerogative.”

    Meanwhile, a fan tried to provide perspective.

    “Excuse me, but Nene was referring to the filters on her pics —the same filters that MOST of us use on these apps. She has always been candid and honest abt gettn work done, but stating ‘no surgery’ was clearly in reference to the [fun] filters made available to exaggerate/enhance our current looks – so no, it was not a lie..it was a damn filter. Geez lol,” they wrote.

    Seales’s controversial statements about Leakes have fans asking her to respect the fashion designer’s choices. Hopefully, this situation will remind Seales that everyone has a right to their decisions despite her genuine concerns.

    Nene chatted with a TMZ correspondent, referencing her chit-chat with her onscreen arch-enemy. The RHOA star claimed that it was a positive scenario, with Kim pouring out her heart over her failed marriage to Kroy Biermann.

    Though Nene ceased to talk about the entire discussion, she confessed her attempt to sound supportive to Kim. The RHOA actress wished Kim a happy ending amid the breakup. She also acknowledged how devastating it feels for a family involving kids to break up. On top of that, Nene wants the estranged couple to find common ground and settle things amicably, whether they split or stick together.

    Following the words of encouragement, Nene revealed that she was in awe of Kim’s physique, admitting that the blonde-haired star looked stunning.

    Kim is yet to drum up support for this newly acquired friendship. However, her ongoing divorce is clouding her mind.

    Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann’s Divorce Saga

    The off-and-on couple tried to show the world that there was nothing but love between them. For some time, rumors of their divorce hit the news, but they managed always to turn out fine. The last straw was in November when one of their kids phoned the police following a fight between Kim and Kroy in their Georgian mansion.

    Upon the police intervention, a body cam revealed that the couple blamed each other for their financial woes. Kroy was caught on camera accusing Kim of being unfaithful.

    It is uncertain where they stand as they have continued to live together. But the pair have money problems as they have been trying to sell their home and belongings.
