Keith Lee and Kandi Burruss are not Real Housewives frenemies, but some tasty drama surely brewed between these two after Lee’s Old Lady Gang Restaurant review. The famous Lee drops restaurant reviews on his TikTok. Recently, the TikTok sensation disclosed how he and his family were treated at Burruss’ restaurant, and now, she has a response for him, defending her business. Not that there was a fight like the drama resonates, but there was a “call and response” between the duo.
Keith Lee Claps At Kandi Burruss’ Restaurant
As per Vibe, the internet demigod set his family up for a fine weekend in Georgia and decided to try out the Old Lady Gang Restaurant. But before Lee and his gang stepped their foot on the property, the TikToker had been somewhat beckoned upon to come.
In his reveal via his video, Lee admitted that an unknown person who claimed affiliation to Burruss contacted him.
“He said he’d been constantly emailing me and constantly DM’ing me to come to Old Lady Gang,” he said in his video. “I got it, let’s try it, and rate it one to.”
If this John Doe hoped to give credit to the Old Lady Gang Restaurant, sadly, it did not work. After Lee had savored the taste of his meal, he decided to leave without a takeout.
His reason was simple — the restaurant was biased. Before going into the building, he wanted his wife and kids to place a to-go order. Eventually, they were denied that and also a delay for a seated table. But things took a different turn when the online influencer stepped into the restaurant.
In his words:
“As always, I don’t want any special treatment. I wanna be treated like everybody else,” explained Lee. “I pay for my food like everybody else. I’m a normal person. I’m a normal customer. Things like this is exactly why I do reviews the way I do.”
Kandi Burruss Reacts To Keith Lee’s Review
Expectedly, Keith Lee’s review video reached millions of viewers, and once the review went viral, Kandi Burruss made a video. Her response included civility. The RHOA star first appreciated her recent celebrity visitor before adding her regrets on the issue.
Burruss added that weekends are a special time because her Old Lady Gang restaurant receives support from the community. Meanwhile, an army of people from out of town also visit the establishment, so they would rather not overwhelm their kitchen to make to-go orders.
“So, with that being said, we don’t want to overwhelm our kitchen by having to, you know, have such long times for the people who are actually at the restaurant, plus having to do to-go orders,” she commented.
It appears that there are no hard feelings apart from honesty between these two. While Lee might not have had a palatable experience in the restaurant, his entire trip to Atlanta featured some high moments, too.
