  • Woman Allegedly Tricks Reverend into Certifying Marriage Certificate with Ex After He Broke Up with Her

Woman Allegedly Tricks Reverend into Certifying Marriage Certificate with Ex After He Broke Up with Her

A 42-year-old man from Texas was shocked when he arrived at his Beverly Hills home on Friday night, to find a package from Bath & Body Works sent by his ex-girlfriend, per PEOPLE.

According to a press release from the Beverly Hills Police Department, inside the package was a photo of his ex, 36-year-old Kristin Marie Spearman,

“holding what appears to be a marriage license showing them married and officiated by a local reverend.”

Additionally, the package included a copy of the marriage certificate, which had been filed with the McLennan County Clerk’s Office. Police reported that the man stated he and Spearman had been in a relationship and had obtained a marriage license around June 2. Following the distribution of the license, the couple had

    “an argument,”

during which the man informed Spearman that

“he did not want to be in a relationship.”

    An investigation found that

“Spearman, pursuant to the scheme of obtaining a marriage certificate, convinced the reverend to certify the victim and Kristin in the Holy Union of Matrimony without the knowledge of the victim and his required presence,”

police said. Spearman then submitted the certificate to the county clerk.

Working alongside the Hewitt Police Department, authorities arrested Spearman at her residence near Hewitt. She has been charged with third-degree felony stalking and is currently in the McLennan County Jail, held on a $10,000 bond, according to jail records. The Beverly Hills Police Department announced in the release that they will not reveal the name of the reverend “to prevent harassment and influence” as the case proceeds.

  • Man Threw His ‘Pet Racoon’ Into a Packed Bar as Revenge After Being Kicked Out, One Person was Bitten

Man Threw His ‘Pet Racoon’ Into a Packed Bar as Revenge After Being Kicked Out, One Person was Bitten

A Kentucky man, known locally as

    “Cowboy Cody,”

was arrested earlier this month for allegedly releasing his

    “pet raccoon”

inside a bar, as reported by Law & Crime. Witnesses say the suspect was banned from the establishment and did that as a form of revenge against the owner and staff.

Jonathan Mason, 40, was taken into custody and charged with assault, criminal trespassing, and resisting arrest, according to court records. Additionally, he faces a charge for failing to maintain required insurance for his pickup truck, which rolled into a police vehicle after Mason left it in neutral during his arrest.

As detailed in a probable cause affidavit obtained by Law&Crime, officers from the Murray Police Department responded to a report at The Big Apple Grill and Bar on Arcadia Circle. They were informed that Mason had deliberately

    “released a raccoon”

into the establishment before fleeing the scene in a red pickup truck. Officers spotted the vehicle as it turned onto Highway 94 East. An officer turned on the squad car’s emergency lights and pursued Mason.

However, Mason continued to drive and seemed to gesture for the officers to go around him before eventually pulling into a parking lot.

    Given Mason’s

“history of involving firearms when dealing with law enforcement officers,”

police reported that they approached his vehicle with their weapons drawn. Police arrested Mason and removed him from his car, which was

“left in neutral and rolled backward,”

    hitting a police vehicle.

An accident report revealed that Mason’s vehicle was uninsured. Officers took witness statements at the restaurant and found out he had previously been banned from The Big Apple.

“He just slings this raccoon in out of nowhere,”

a male witness told the police. The raccoon bit one of the employees who attempted to catch and release it outside. They were required to get a rabies shot.

Three 16-year-old girls assaulted a 15-year-old girl, stomping, beating, and even tasing her inside a subway station in Queens last week, according to prosecutors and sources cited by the NY Post.

The sophomore from William Cullen Bryant High School was on her way to the nearby 46th Street M and R train station around 3 p.m. on June 2 when the vicious group reportedly followed her. Queens DA Melinda Katz described the incident as

“an outrageous display of bullying and brutality.”

According to the DA’s office, the group of teens cornered the girl on the staircase, repeatedly punching, kicking, and stomping on her head, face, and body, tasing her in the process and attempting to steal her backpack. The victim was hospitalized following the attack but is now on the path to recovery, officials reported.

Two of the suspects, both juniors at the same school and residents of Elmhurst, were arrested and arraigned on Tuesday. They face charges of attempted gang assault and attempted robbery related to the incident, prosecutors stated. They have been placed in an intensive community monitoring program under probation supervision, according to the DA’s office.

Judge Bruna DiBiase has scheduled their next court appearance for June 18. The third 16-year-old suspect was arrested on Thursday. If convicted, they could face up to 15 years in prison.

“This will not be acceptable behavior here in Queens and I will hold students accountable for this behavior to the extent the law allows. We are grateful that the victim is recovering. The investigation is continuing into the conduct of other individuals,”

  • Self-Proclaimed ‘Best-Friend’ of Barron Trump Boasts About Reporting Popular TikToker, Khabane Lame, to ICE

Self-Proclaimed ‘Best-Friend’ of Barron Trump Boasts About Reporting Popular TikToker, Khabane Lame, to ICE

MAGA Gen-Z influencer Bo Loudon proudly claimed responsibility for the detention of TikTok’s most-followed creator, Khaby Lame, by Immigration and Customs Enforcement. He is now threatening to target other immigrants, according to a report by Huff Post.

“We don’t want celebrities using their status to abuse our system and take advantage of the things that we don’t have access to,”

Loudon, 18, said on Fox News.

“I can’t say I’m done with Khaby; if there’s other celebrities that are not in this country legally, I will investigate it and I will happily go after them as well.”

Lame, whose full name is Serigne Khabane Lame, is a 25-year-old Italian citizen originally from Senegal. He was detained on June 6 at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas for immigration violations, an ICE spokesperson told HuffPost. ICE stated that Lame had exceeded the limits of his visa and chose to leave the U.S. voluntarily. The agency did not confirm any involvement from Loudon in Lame’s detention.

However, in an interview with Dylan Page, who goes by

    “News Daddy”

on TikTok, during Wednesday’s episode of Page’s podcast, the MAGA influencer admitted to having “reported” Lame as an

    “illegal alien.”

He mentioned that he learned about Lame’s visa overstay and

“called some buddies in the administration”

to quickly have the TikToker detained.

“I want to look out for the little guys, the people that follow our laws, respect our country, appreciate it and its values and don’t abuse the system,”

Loudon said as his reason for doing so.

Lame gained fame in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. Lame lived in Italy since he was 1, and became an Italian citizen in 2022. He attended the Met Gala in New York City, this year. However, Lame has expressed that he faced challenges in securing Italian citizenship due to the country’s regulations, and that his Senegalese passport complicated his efforts to obtain a U.S. visa.

  • Teacher Claims He Was Fired for Saying the N-Word While Reading ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’ to Students, Says it Was a ‘Teachable Moment’

Teacher Claims He Was Fired for Saying the N-Word While Reading ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’ to Students, Says it Was a ‘Teachable Moment’

A teacher in Washington state alleges that he was recently fired for reading a passage from “To Kill a Mockingbird” to his class without censoring the n-word, according to the NY Post.

Matthew Mastronardi, a Spanish teacher at West Valley High School in Spokane, was recorded reading a segment from the 1960 Harper Lee novel that addresses themes of racism and injustice in the Jim Crow-era South.

In a detailed post on X on Wednesday, the Spanish teacher explained that he only used the slur as a

“teachable moment about context and literary honesty in reading”

when he heard students saying they felt they

    “must ‘skip over the n-word.’”

    He added.

“I was astonished and expressed disagreement, saying, ‘That’s silly; it undermines the book’s historical context and disrespects the author’s intent to use accurate language.’”

“A girl asked me in front of the class, ‘Would you read the word?’ I replied, ‘Yes, I would read every word.’”

Unaware that he was being recorded, Mastronardi, who acknowledged feeling

    “nervous but committed,”

decided to read the passage aloud to his 30 students as a

    “teachable moment.”

Just days later, he received a verbal warning from the principal, followed by an ultimatum to either resign or risk having his contract not renewed. After refusing to step down, he was issued a notice of non-renewal.

The school has consistently maintained that the decision was not solely related to the book incident; however, Mastronardi claimed that officials refused to provide any additional explanations.

“There are no parent complaints, no documented disciplinary actions and I’ve passed every teaching evaluation,”

    he said.
