Trace Cyrus, Miley Cyrus’ brother, accused his ex-girlfriend Brenda Song of lying about a cancer diagnosis, an abortion, and several pregnancies during their seven-year relationship, according to Page Six.
On Wednesday, a fan criticized the musician on Instagram, saying
“Ahhhh now we know why Brenda left. Good riddance.”
Trace responded to the comment saying,
“Yes because she stole thousands of dollars from me and faked multiple pregnancies,”
he alleged. Trace, now 36, alleged that Song, now 37,
“lied about being terminally ill”
to convince him and his family to believe
“she had breast cancer and a brain tumor,”
he claimed.
“It was all a lie… She was humiliated to ever show her face around my family again once we figured it out.”
He further claimed that Song
“faked an abortion with fake blood covering the bathroom floor.”
Trace stated that he and his mother, Tish Cyrus, hurried Song to the doctor, where
“all the lies started unraveling and [they] realized it was fake.”
“Thanks for reminding me of another scenario where I was great loving another person and someone did me wrong for no reason,”
he claimed. In a follow-up Instagram Story post, Trace also alleged that Song once showed up to his home
“after getting the ‘brain tumor’ removed by the best surgeon in Chicago.”
He added, “She didn’t realize we were catching on to her lies” He went on to say,
“when she showed up to my house with a bandage on her head claiming she just got out of surgery I ripped it off exposing no surgery had been done.”
Trace and the
“Suite Life of Zack & Cody”
star had a rocky, on-and-off relationship from 2010 to 2017, including a brief engagement in 2011. Song is now engaged to Macaulay Culkin, and together they have two sons: Dakota, 4, and Carson, 2.
“I’m extremely happy for her. She inspired me to write countless songs and was such an important part of my life,”
Trace wrote on Instagram, per Us Weekly.
