    Steven Schwartz

“did not want to eat the pancakes she made and stabbed her in the back,”

the U.S. attorney’s office said in a statement announcing the arrest.

Police were called to a stabbing incident at 3:40 p.m. When they arrived they discovered Sharron Schwartz with injuries and Steven Schwartz with self-inflicted injuries. Both individuals were transported to a hospital, where Sharron Schwartz later passed away. According to a police affidavit filed in the district criminal case, Steven Schwartz stated that he has a strong dislike for food, and his wife was attempting to make him eat, which led to an argument.

Steven Schwartz told police that he suffers from a condition related to food aversion and depression. He expressed remorse, stating that his wife did not deserve to die and that he wished he had died instead.

During a following interview with investigators, Schwartz disclosed that he and his wife had been married for 40 years and that he loved her deeply. He also mentioned that he had hoped the act of killing his wife was a figment of his imagination, according to another police document submitted to the court. Schwartz explained that he was in the process of recovering from a stroke at the time of the incident.

The U.S. attorney’s office has charged Steven Schwartz with second-degree murder while armed. A Superior Court judge, after a hearing on Thursday, ordered that Schwartz be held without bail.

  • Texas Man Sentenced To 40 Years In Prison After Confessing To Brutally Murdering Wife With Nail Gun

Texas Man Sentenced To 40 Years In Prison After Confessing To Brutally Murdering Wife With Nail Gun

Lam Ngoc Tran, a 65-year-old man from Texas, has confessed to the horrific murder of his wife, My Thai Dang. The tragic incident involved Tran brutally attacking his wife with a nail gun in their home, Law&Crime reported.

In a desperate attempt to end his own life, Tran then turned the tool on himself, shooting himself in the face and wrist. However, his suicide attempt was unsuccessful. On Thursday, Judge Veronica M. Nelson of the Harris County District Court sentenced Tran to 40 years in prison for the crime. This decision was based on court records obtained by Law&Crime.

“This is a horrible murder, and it reinforces that the most dangerous time for a battered spouse is when they are trying to leave the relationship,”

Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg said in a statement following the sentencing hearing.

“This woman was trying to get away from an abusive husband, and the only reason she is dead is because he could not stand to lose control of her.”

In May, Tran confessed to murdering his wife, who had recently filed for divorce. Police were called to their residence on Jan 10, 2022, where they discovered Dang’s lifeless body covered in blood, with severe injuries to her face and head. A bloody nail with human hair was also found nearby.

Tran was found near his wife in the living room with significant facial and bodily injuries. Law enforcement discovered a nail gun and air compressor nearby. An autopsy revealed that Dang’s injuries matched the pattern of the nail gun, indicating she had been struck multiple times.

Tran’s son and Dang’s niece confirmed that Dang filed for divorce in August 2021 and served Tran with papers on Dec. 18, 2021. Dang’s niece shared that on the day of serving, Dang called her while hiding in her closet due to Tran’s anger. Dang also confided in her niece that Tran intended to delay the divorce process, in hopes she wouldn’t follow through.

Additionally, Tran’s daughter informed the police that on Jan. 9, 2022, Tran sent a text to her and her siblings, stating that he was leaving and they should contact their uncle if needed, before saying goodbye. This incident occurred ahead of a court hearing for a restraining order Dang had requested against her husband.

  • Father and Stepmother Arrested After Police Find Six Children ‘Starved Beaten and Locked In Cages’

Father and Stepmother Arrested After Police Find Six Children ‘Starved Beaten and Locked In Cages’

Las Vegas Metro Police arrested father, Travis Doss, and stepmother, Amanda Stamper after finding young children locked in cages at their residence, reports the NY Post. The children were allegedly battered and starved, police say.

Upon entering the one-bedroom apartment cops found six children, ages 2-11, alone with two dogs. The 11-year-old boy along with his 9-year-old brother were both locked up in separate cages. The 11-year-old had

“two black eyes that were swollen shut, multiple marks and bruises all over his body, and he was emaciated,”

    according to police.

The boy told police he had to share the little food he was given amongst his siblings.

“He kept saying that he was always hungry and that’s why he stole, and then he said, ‘It’s food that’s in the trash, so how is that even stealing?’”

the detective said, according to a grand-jury transcript.

“And he kept saying that he needed big food because he was a big boy now and that he would have to share one large fry from McDonald’s with like all six kids and just that he was never really fed and that’s why he stole,”

    the cop recounted.

Doss, who is the father to seven children, was indicted by a grand jury earlier this month on 40 charges including child abuse, according to court documents obtained by The Post. Amanda Stamper is reportedly the biological mother of the 2-year-old child and stepmother to the others. She was also indicted and faces seven counts of child abuse, reports note.

Stamper’s public defender said she was also a victim of Doss’s abuse and feared for her life.

“If she had done anything, she would’ve been subjected to serious, serious abuse,”

they told the local outlet in June.

Doss was also a rapper who went by the name

    “Trap Montana,”

according to his Instagram posts. Police obtained images of him rapping inside luxury cars, mansions, and casinos on the famed Las Vegas Strip.
