Usher is set to debut his performance at the Super Bowl Halftime show, and co-stars like Rihanna are already assured of a mindblowing performance. During a star-studded event, Rihanna took time to hail the iconic singer, explaining that he already knows what to do and does not need her advice. In response, Usher thanked her.

Rihanna Talks About Her Expectations of Usher Ahead of His Super Bowl Halftime Show

Being at the center of the Super Bowl Halftime show was on Rihanna’s schedule earlier in the year. Despite being heavily pregnant with her second child, the singer surpassed expectations with her performance. The then-expectant mom showed up on stage with energy while singing and dancing.

Nearly a year later, she doubles down on who will perform next. Usher, who first climbed on stage for a Super Bowl Halftime show in 2011 with the Black Eyed Peas, will be repeating the same move. This time, the 45-year-old will deliver on his own.

When asked what advice Usher might need, the Fenty creator answered in a rather startling tone:

“I can’t give Usher no advice. Usher is a natural, he’s a legend, and he’s been doing this since he’s a teenager,” she chimed, per People.

To end the matter, Rihanna confirmed her belief in Usher, adding that he had put on a spectacular show at his Las Vegas residence.

In her words:

“He’s made for that show. I get excited about entertainers who do this, who are built for it and he just proved that in Vegas that he’s not going anywhere.”

Usher Calls Rihanna “Queen” To Thank Her

No amount of busyness took Usher’s time as he noticed Rihanna’s comment about him. Via X, he made a repost from a Fenty account with Rihanna as the headline. The singer replayed the former interview before adding his thoughts that read:

“Real recognize real Thank U Queen @rihanna.”

The Take A Bow singer is not wrong for praising Usher’s commitment to putting on a show at the SuperBowl Halftime. After receiving the news of his involvement in the show, the singer said,

“It’s an honor of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list. I can’t wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they’ve seen from me before.”
