“down the railroad tracks”

to smoke, the teen girl told officials. She told Elia that she didn’t want t be in the relationship anymore, and he then demanded she turned her phone off, which he then flung and went on to aim a gun at her head and pulled the trigger. The young girl pleaded for her life, and the boy told her something to the degree of

“You have to die.”

According to The Post,

“He shot her another two to three more times before running away.”

Jones managed to run and flag down a motorist close to where she was injured. She was then transported to the hospital with

“three gunshot wounds in her head.”

According to court documents, one bullet went in through her left cheekbone and

“lodged in her neck close to her carotid artery,”

The 14-year-old girl was coherent and was able to identify Olson as the shooter. The teen girl’s family says she underwent surgery and has more procedures to get done; however, she is expected to survive.

In a GoFundMe, Jones’ family said,

“At 14 years old, this baby will now have to go through life through one eye and live with bullets in her neck and head.”

According to Fox 6, Olson reportedly admitted to the shooting

“in a fit of rage over a Snapchat post and (a proposed) breakup.”
