Actor Vin Diesel is seeking the dismissal of a sexual assault lawsuit filed by his former assistant. Denying all allegations, Diesel aims to have the case completely dropped and requests his ex-assistant to cover his legal expenses, according to an updated filing obtained by Radar Online.

If you’re unaware, Asta Jonasson, the actor’s former assistant, filed a lawsuit against him, his sister, and One Race Films, alleging sexual battery, wrongful termination, and a hostile work environment. The incident reportedly occurred during the filming of Fast 5 in Georgia in 2010, when Jonasson was working as Vin Diesel’s assistant. She claims that after entertaining multiple women at his suite in Atlanta, she was asked to escort him out of the hotel to avoid being photographed.

The woman accuses Diesel of grabbing her, touching her breast, and kissing her forcefully while they are still in the room. She also stated that he tried to lift her dress,

“pull down her underwear,”

and forced her against a wall. Jonasson claimed that Diesel then exposed himself and masturbated while leaning on her.

Sheclaims that Samantha Vincent, Diesel’s sister and president of One Race, fired her hours after the alleged assault, stating that her assistance was no longer needed. Jonasson alleges that she was terminated because she

“resisted”

the actor.

Jonasson explained that she remained quiet due to fear of his influence in Hollywood in addition to her immigration status. However, the #MeToo movement has given her courage, and she referred to California’s Speak Out Act, allowing victims to report sexual assault incidents from 2009 onwards.
