Officials reported that while an Amish family was shopping inside a Walmart, their horse and buggy were stolen from the parking lot, according to Business Insider.

According to a news release from the Sturgis Department of Public Safety in Michigan, authorities reported to the Sturgis Walmart, located

“150 miles west of Detroit,”

on Saturday. The reason was a reported theft of a horse and buggy.

A truck driver, who was parked in the lot, informed the police that he witnessed a woman looting the buggy. He gave a description of the suspect. The horse and buggy were discovered later that evening, just over two miles from the store.

According to the police, the woman staying at a nearby motel was later apprehended. She has been charged with

“larceny and larceny of livestock, pending an arraignment,”

reports the Sturgis Department of Public Safety.

Luckily, the horse wasn’t harmed and was returned to the family along with the buggy.
