Colorado Man Attacks Girlfriend With Knives Then Is Hit And Killed By Truck While Running From Police

A Colorado man accused of assaulting his partner was hit and killed by a commercial truck while attempting to flee police, Fox 31 reported.

Early Wednesday morning, shortly after midnight, officers from the Greeley Police Department were sent to an apartment complex after receiving reports about a man punching and kicking a woman. After the accused 31-year-old grabbed multiple knives and continued to assault the woman further, the suspect fled the scene in his vehicle before police had arrived.

As the woman was taken to a nearby hospital, officers spotted her attacker returning, and attempted to pull him over. The suspect then pulled into a dead end, exited his vehicle, and began to flee on foot. With police chasing after him, the man climbed a fence, and began crossing a busy highway. Before reaching the other side, he was hit by a large commercial truck.

Though his identity has not be released, officials say that the suspect was pronounced dead at the scene. According to a statement released by Greeley Police Department, an investigation is still ongoing, but drugs, alcohol, or speed do not appear to be contributing factors to the deadly crash. Fortunately, the victim, who remains in the hospital, is expected to recover.

  • New York Man Breaks Into Daycare, Steals Diapers, And Pretends To Be A Baby

New York Man Breaks Into Daycare, Steals Diapers, And Pretends To Be A Baby

A New York man man is now facing charges after breaking into a local childcare center, stealing diapers and formula, and leaving notes with bizarre requests behind, ABC 15 News reported.

It all began January 30th, when employees at a daycare in Clarkson, New York discovered $120, accompanied by a note asking if the center has adult sized diapers and whether or not they’d be willing to “play along” if he pretended to be a baby. After the center’s director notified police about the break-in, they installed surveillance cameras, but staff found a similar note with $200 a few days later.

On February 11th, the director received a notification that the security system had been activated. When she arrived to the center, she noticed that someone had been going through the children’s diaper bins, and that another note along with cash had been left. This time, the intruder included sizes for pants, shoes, bras, and dresses, and asked if he could be called “Baby Danielle.”

A week later, the daycare director went through surveillance footage and saw that an elderly man had been taking apart multiple diapers and piecing them together in order to make one big enough to wear himself, and putting it on in one of the bathrooms before fleeing. She later realized that he had also drank half of a bottle of formula, used one of the children’s bibs, and had stolen multiple diapers.

After being identified, police located and arrested 65-year-old Daniel Seeler, who lives in Holley, a town 15 minutes away. The elderly man immediately confessed to the crimes and claims that he’s working through an addiction. Seeler is charged with burglary and petty larceny, but is no longer in police custody due to being released on an appearance ticket.

Tony D’Agostino, the daycare’s owner, says that the center’s employees had never interacted with Seeler. In order to keep the children and the staff safe, he says he intends to increase security.

Middle Schoolers Stop Maryland Man From Kidnapping Their Classmate

A Maryland man is now in police custody after a group of middle school students heroically saved their classmate from an attempted kidnapping, Law And Crime reported.

On Monday, students were waiting at a school bus stop in Gaithersburg, Maryland when they saw a man grab one of their classmates and try to pull them to a nearby apartment building. Several of them immediately began intervening, yelling and refusing to let go of their classmate until the man fled.

After the students arrived to their school and reported the incident to staff, 30-year-old Jamaal Germany was located and arrested. He’s now facing charges of attempted kidnapping, and is being held at the Montgomery County Detention Center awaiting his arraignment.

According to one of the children’s parents, Germany had been there a week beforehand, making threats to both children and adults. “It’s totally disturbing,” a neighbor commented. “You don’t expect to hear things like that happening, in general, so close to home. We know things happen in the world. It’s very unsettling when it happens close to your community.”

In a letter to parents, the Montgomery County Public Schools explained what had occurred, the arrest that followed, and what the next steps were to ensure that similar incidents would be prevented. “There will continue to be an increased security presence by both MCPS and MCPD today and tomorrow at the impacted bus stop,” it stated.

  • Houston Man Given $2 Million Bond After Killing His Daughter While Her Mother Watched On FaceTime

Houston Man Given $2 Million Bond After Killing His Daughter While Her Mother Watched On FaceTime

A Texas man is now in police custody after brutishly taking the life of his daughter as he FaceTimed his ex, who is also the child’s mother, ABC 13 reported.

On Monday, 25-year-old Deontray Flanagan reportedly picked up two-year-old Zevaya from daycare before heading to a Houston Walmart, where the child’s mother works. There, Flanagan began hitting Kairsten Watson, demanding she give him her phone and the passcode to it, or their daughter would be harmed. After she complied, he took Zevaya and left.

As Flanagan was being chased down by police, he FaceTimed Watson, showing the aftermath of their toddler being severely beaten. “Her face was just covered in blood,” the grieving mother recalled. “He hit her with something really hard, and then he called me on FaceTime and he showed me. He choked her on FaceTime. I said, ‘Tray, stop. That is your daughter! Stop! She loves you.’ His exact words were, ‘You only love that man- you did this to her.’”

While the two were FaceTiming, Flanagan was in a high speed chase. The suspect hit multiple other cars and drove the wrong way up multiple Houston roads, as deputies from Harris County Sheriff’s Office followed him for more than 30 miles. He eventually came to a stop and a standoff ensued.

“I am telling the officers, “Look at this FaceTime! Move in,” Watson said. “They sat there, and said they have to get everyone ready, and they have to put on their shields and all this extra stuff like he wasn’t killing her on this FaceTime call.”

After Flanagan was finally taken into police custody, little Zevaya was found nearly lifeless. She was then airlifted to a nearby hospital to be treated for her injuries, but was unfortunately pronounced dead shortly after.

Prior to his attack, Watson called police about threatening phone calls and text messages she received from Flanagan. Last week alone, she notified authorities twice, but the Harris County District Attorney’s office concluded that there wasn’t enough evidence to pursue a criminal charge.

“I told them over and over and over that something was going to be wrong,” Watson explained. “I said, ‘Are y’all going to wait until something happens to her?’”

Flanagan has been charged with first-degree murder, and although he was originally being held on a $2 million bond. Depending on the outcome of the autopsy report, he could be facing a capital murder charge.

Chris Rock Says Lawmakers Are “Stupid” For Wanting To Arrest Former President Donald Trump

Comedian Chris Rock is once again making headlines after calling lawmakers “stupid” for wanting arrest former United States President Trump. While honoring Adam Sandler at the Mark Twain Prize late Sunday, the 58-year-old “Madagascar” voice actor directly addressed lawmakers in the audience about Trump’s expected arrest, New York Post reported.

Despite the insurrection inciter possibly facing charges of fraud, unauthorized retention of national security documents, mishandling official documents, obstruction, contempt of court, conspiracy to make a false statement, election code violations, racketeering, insurrection, and somehow even more, Rock believes that Trump should not be facing jail time.

“Are you guys really going to arrest Trump?” Rock asked the crowd that included several officials from the Biden administration. “Do you know this is only going to make him more popular. It’s like arresting Tupac- he’s just gonna sell more records. Are you stupid?”

He then began making jokes about Trump’s alleged affair with porn star Stormy Daniels.

“He f***ed a porn star and paid off someone so his wife couldn’t find out. That’s romantic.” He then said, “We’ve all been cheated on. Don’t you wish that the person that cheated on you paid off somebody so you wouldn’t find out?”

Towards the end of his set, Rock mentioned the infamous slap from award-winning actor and rapper Will Smith, bizarrely comparing it to the attack on Nancy Pelosi’s husband. “Paul Pelosi, the only guy who knows how I felt,” he commented about the 82-year-old. In October of last year, Paul Pelosi was viciously pummeled with a hammer during a home invasion. “Just me and you, Paul,” he laughed.

  • Mayor Of Miami Beach Imposes Curfew After Weekend Shootings: “We Don’t Want Spring Break”

Mayor Of Miami Beach Imposes Curfew After Weekend Shootings: “We Don’t Want Spring Break”

The mayor of Miami Beach has announced a city-wide curfew after two fatal shootings occurred over the weekend, The Hill reported.

On Friday night, at around 10:40 P.M., a shooting occurred, sending two people to a nearby hospital. One later died from his injuries while the other continues to be in a critical condition. Early Sunday morning, at about 3:30 A.M., another shooting occurred, leaving one man dead and the other severely wounded. Though police have confirmed that the two incidents were “targeted and isolated,” Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber announced a curfew as the popular spring break destination has an influx of out-of-city visitors.

“While most may come here to enjoy the amenities of Miami Beach, the overwhelming volume of visitors, a few that come with bad intentions in the presence of guns creates a wholly intolerable situation,” Gelber said in a video message to residents.

The curfew will start at 11:59 P.M., and end at 6 A.M. this Thursday through Monday. The curfew will require businesses to close by midnight, but will not apply to those traveling back and forth from work nor the residents of the city going to or from their homes. Hotels can remain open only for those who are guests.

“As I’ve said many times, we don’t ask for spring break in our city,” Gelber explained. “We don’t want spring break in our city. It’s too rowdy, brings too much disorder, and it’s simply too difficult to police.”

Rick Ross’ Neighbor Calls Police After Rapper’s Pet Buffaloes Wander Onto Her Property

Last year, Rick Ross was gifted a pair of buffalo by the clothing company Ethika when he expanded his ranch, The Promise Land. Despite the extravagant estate consisting of 235 acres of land in Fayetteville, Georgia, one of the esteemed rapper’s neighbors notified police after his enormous pets wandered onto her property.

According to TMZ, the mother returned home from work to discover the 2,000 lb animals grazing on the grass in her yard, near her driveway. Concerned for the safety of her small children, the woman attempted to confront Ross about the buffalo on her property, but she was stopped by members of his team. After being turned away, she called police, who told her it was a civil dispute and refused to take a report. She says her next step is to filing a neighbor dispute with the city.

On Sunday afternoon, after seeing many headlines mentioning his escaped animals, Ross released a statement on his Instagram, claiming that his buffalo were harmless. “They are just grazers, they are not meat eaters,” Ross said in one story. He says that the animals were able to leave the property due to work he was having done on the property, and explained that members of his team had rounded up them up.

“So when you see my buffalo, give it a carrot, give it an apple,” Ross instructed. “They so kind. They so peaceful. . . Thanks everyone for making sure my animals got back into the Promise Land.”

Five Young Siblings Die In Fiery New York Car Crash After Teen Driver Loses Control Of Vehicle

A car crashing into a tree in a metropolitan New York area resulted in the death of five children between the ages of 8 and 17, with only one survivor, USA Today reported.

On Sunday morning, at around 12:20 A.M., a Nissan Rouge with six minors from Connecticut veered off the road, crashed into a tree, and caught fire. Four boys and one girl, including the 16-year-old driver, succumbed to their injuries. A 9-year-old, who had been sitting in the vehicle’s hatchback area, escaped from the back. He was taken to a nearby hospital, and is expected to fully recover.

Matt Conway, a superintendent about 50 miles north of Scarsdale in Connecticut, says that all of the victims are from the same family. They had just moved to Connecticut from New York, and their father was in the process of enrolling them into the schools there.

“It’s the unimaginable,” Conway said, according to the AP. “Having to now make arrangements for five of your children to be buried is a very difficult thing for anyone- one child, never mind five, that you’re going to have to now make arrangements for.”
