    Martin Scorsese Declares Leonardo DiCaprio “One Of the Greatest Actors In The History Of Film”

    After collaborating closely for almost a quarter of a century, starring in various movies together such as ‘Gangs of New York,’ ‘The Aviator,’ ‘The Departed,’ ‘Shutter Island,’ ‘The Wolf of Wall Street,’ and their most recent project, ‘Killers of the Flower Moon,’ with Leonardo DiCaprio playing the role of the gullible Ernest Burkhart, a hitman involved in the Osage murders in 1920s Oklahoma, Martin Scorsese has given DiCaprio his flowers.

    According to Indie Wire, during his acceptance speech at the National Board of Review Gala in New York City on Jan. 11, Scorsese, while receiving awards for Best Picture and Best Director, took the opportunity to acknowledge and praise DiCaprio for his timeless contribution to the film industry. He referred to him as “one of the greatest actors in the history of movies” and reflected on their collaborations, highlighting what makes Leonardo such a remarkable actor.

    “He couldn’t be here tonight for a really good reason… He’s currently preparing for Paul Thomas Anderson’s new film. It was actually Robert De Niro who first told me about Leo DiCaprio when they worked together on ‘This Boy’s Life.’ De Niro said, ‘You have to work with this kid someday.’ And in the past 23 years, we have now made six films together… I have faith in him. I know I can rely on him. His complete immersion in the character and the story is remarkable. His fearlessness has given me life when I make a film,” acclaimed Scorsese.

    However, even before their latest film was released in Oct. 2023, rumors were circulating about Scorsese and DiCaprio reuniting for their seventh collaboration, based on the nonfiction book ‘The Wager: A Tale of Shipwreck, Mutiny, and Murder’ by David Grann, the same author behind the source material for ‘Killers of the Flower Moon.’ Nevertheless, ‘The Wager’ won’t be DiCaprio or Scorsese’s next project, as the director mentioned in his speech that DiCaprio was cast in Paul Thomas Anderson’s upcoming movie, which is scheduled to start shooting this year.

    Filming Begins For The Live-Action Remake Of ‘How To Train Your Dragon’

    In Feb. of 2023, Marc Platt Productions revealed plans for a live-action adaptation of DreamWorks Animations Picture; ‘How to Train Your Dragon.’ According to IMDB, It’s with no surprise that we have Dean DeBlois returning to the scene to write, direct, and produce the film with John Powell, who also worked on the original trilogy returning to compose the score of the film. The film’s release in US theaters has been set for 13th June 2025.

    Mason Thames is cast as Hiccup, the awkward son of Stoick, the Vast alongside Nico Parker as Astrid. The casting took place in May of 2023 while Gerard Butler and Nick Frost were added to the cast in January of 2024 playing the characters of Stoic the Vast and Gobber the Belch respectively. Filming was originally scheduled for July 2023 but was later postponed due to the actors’ guild strike. Filming was scheduled to begin on Jan. 15, 2024, in Northern Ireland.

    With the breath of new life into the story that first emerged from the brilliance of Cresida Cowell’s books, Hiccup will take his first flight lessons with Toothless once again, and this time in a live-action new version of the DreamWorks Animation. The film looks to be a faithful adaptation of the animated trilogy’s first movie, and the plot is relatively similar.

    FAST X: PART 2 Will Reportedly Return To The Basics With A Reduced Budget And Less Major Locations

    It appears that the Fast and Furious franchise is returning to its roots by planning to start from the beginning, similar to how they did with the first Fast movie. Despite being unheard of in a famous blockbuster film, we may just witness this for the first time in the history of film. According to reports from The Insneider, Fast X: Part 2 will be a major throwback to the very first movie from the franchise including adjustments to the usual immense budget as well as filming in less major locations.

    Fans worldwide are eager to see how the studio will possibly pull off the production of the film with the legendary ‘grounded and valiant’ approach, particularly when considering that the final moments of the Fast X movie featured Vin Diesel escaping the destruction of a massive dam with his son in his flying Dodge Charger, ending the movie in a cliffhanger.

    Despite having to drastically reduce costs for the new film, Jeff Sneider at The InSneider reports that Vin Diesel will be returning despite the recent sexual battery accusation on the actor, further dispelling Diesel’s previous news concerning there being two more films in the Fast series. Concludingly, Sneider reports that if Fast X does indeed prove to be the final entry in the series, Universal Studios may not have Jason Momoa’s Dante Reyes as the primary villain, instead they would opt to introduce a new villain.

    In addition to the returning Fast X cast, Part Two will also see the return of Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot to the franchise, as the pair both made surprise appearances at the end of the 2023 film.

    The Big Bang Theory universe is expanding rapidly with a new spinoff in the works, stemming from The Young Sheldon spinoff and focusing on new parents Georgie and Mandy. The offshoot is close to receiving a direct-to-series order from CBS, presenting Georgie and Mandy as a couple.

    They will be reprising their roles in a 13-episode order for the 2024-2025 season. As many of you know, Georgie dropped out of school at 17 to work at Meemaw’s laundromat, where he first met Mandy. He lied about his age, but by the time Mandy discovered the truth, she was already expecting their child.

    In the vast Big Bang Theory universe, Georgie and Mandy’s path is filled with challenges, as we see George as a successful owner of a tire chain store with multiple marriages. However, this spinoff will give us a glimpse into how their journey began. With this new installment, the franchise is returning to the multi-camera format of The Big Bang Theory, after adopting a single-camera format with Young Sheldon.

    After seven consecutive seasons of brilliant entertainment, the American medical TV drama series, based on the South Korean series of the same name from 2013, has ended production after its 7th season.

    The final upcoming season has been announced to return in February 2024, following production delays from the now-resolved Hollywood strikes.

    The show “The Good Doctor” centers around the character Doctor Shaun Murphy, played by Freddie Highmore, who is portrayed as an autistic surgeon at St. Bonaventure Hospital in San Jose. Over six seasons, “The Good Doctor” has explored the intricate life of Dr. Shaun Murphy and the challenges, successes, and significant moments encountered by him and his colleagues in the high-speed medical environment. The character was pure at heart and always right about his patients.

    Along with Richard Schiff, who played Shaun’s mentor, other main cast members for Season 7 of “The Good Doctor” also include Fiona Gubelmann as Dr. Morgan Reznick, Will Yun Lee as Dr. Alex Park, and Christina Chang as Dr. Audrey Lim, they all bring their unique talents to the show.

    With the couple going public about their relationship in 2021 after meeting on the set of the 2016 action-comedy, 27-year-old Tom Holland recently acknowledged revisiting his films including Spider-Man: Homecoming, which he watches with the 27-year-old Golden Globe winner Zendaya.

    During an interview with Extra’s Melvin Robert, he highlighted that he and Zendaya still watch “SpiderMan 1”, and think back to the days of being 19 and filming those movies over again.

    “I love those movies and I savor those moments. So I don’t watch them as frequently as I would like because they hold such a special place in my heart. It’s like a precious gift to be able to sit down and relive our youth” he says.

    Holland showed gratitude by saying that the job built him into the man that he is today.

    The actor revealed that he also goes back to watch his work because he believes that he is his best critic.  He continues by saying he sometimes realizes that he could have done more when he sees something he’s done. But once it’s out there, he just lets it be.

    Moreover, Holland revealed that Zendaya has proved a big fan of his Apple TV+ miniseries The Crowded Room, watching it far more than he ever expected. He also noted the honesty and support of Zendaya, including her feedback on his acting is what he treasures so much.
