    Chinese Influencer Dies After Binge Drinking on Livestream, Reports Say

    Chinese content creator, who goes by the name

    “Sanqiange,”

    was found dead hours after recording a livestream of him consuming seven bottles of alcohol, NY Post reports. 

    Sanqiange, whose last name is Wang according to local media, was reportedly participating in an online challenge, that took place on Douyin, China’s version of TikTok. 

    The challenge called

    “PK,”

    is usually played against two influencers on the platform that compete for

    “gifts or rewards from their audience,”

    reports state. The person who loses is

    “punished.” 

    Sanqiange who reportedly lost the game appeared on livestream May 16, where he showed himself drinking seven bottles of Baijiu, a Chinese liquor that contains an alcohol content of 30% to 60%.

    A friend of the content creator told local outlet Shangyou News,

    “I don’t know how much he had consumed before I tuned in. But in the latter part of the video, I saw him finish three bottles before starting on a fourth.” 

    “When his family found him, he was already gone, he didn’t even get a chance for emergency treatment,”

    the friend added. BBC previously reported

    “livestreamer had already been banned from the app for doing that in the past,”

    reports reveal.

    Texas High School Postpones Graduation After 85% of Seniors Fail to Earn Diploma

    A high school in Texas was forced to postpone its graduation due to the majority of the seniors not meeting graduation requirements, reports NY Post. 

    Marlin High School located near Waco, Texas has a total of 33 seniors. According to the outlet only 5 out of the 33 students passed their classes and are eligible to graduate. The other 28 have been struggling with grades or attendance, KWTX-TV reported.

    The school announced on Facebook that it plans to postpone commencement till June to give students enough time to qualify.

    “Our commitment to excellence remains unshaken,”

    Superintendent Darryl Henson said in the statement.

    “We hold firm to our belief that every student in Marlin ISD can and will achieve their potential.”

    Henson also wrote a statement to Twitter addressing the future of the institution.

    “Let this be a lesson learned for all. As we continue to go through our annual graduation audit, it’s our obligation to ensure that all students have met all requirements. Support, accountability, & integrity will remain at the forefront,”

    she said.

    “Our district will grow from this setback,”

    Henson added.

    Recently the school implemented a four-day school week to cut down on absences.

    “Our shift to a four-day school week is part of our effort to increase bell-to-bell instruction, increase student engagement during days school is in session, and keep absences from infringing on instructional time,”

    Nikisha Edwards, Chief Academic Officer, said in the statement.

    “We are committed to ensuring these strategic shifts benefit students as intended.”

    Woman Arrested for Sexting Runaway Teens Told Cops She Identifies as 15-Year-Old Boy

    A woman told police that she identifies as a 15-year-old boy after she was caught sexting and providing alcohol and drugs to a group of runaway teens she planned to run away with, NY Post reported. 

    Amanda Dorrough of Washington State is reportedly known for housing underage runaways at her apartment. The 35-year-old woman referred to herself as

    “Taz”

    around the teen group. She was arrested after police received a call about her attempting to run away to Seattle with the crew. 

    According to the outlet, the vice principal at Port Angeles High School reported the incident after two students came forward and confessed to the planned runaway.

    Police searched Dorrough’s residence and found teenagers

    “running through the parking lot away from Dorrough’s apartment.”

    They also discovered Dorrough

    “sitting next to one of the students who was identified as a runaway,”

    the case report said. Police also obtained

    “two empty condom packets, one unopened condom, a bra, and an empty cigarette packet with a lighter,”

    at the scene. Dorrough allegedly told an officer that

    “she feels like teenagers ‘understand’ her better”

    and that

    “she ‘identifies’ better with teenage kids,”

    according to the report.

    Police had previously received several reports and complaints about Dorrough’s involvement with juveniles, according to the incident report.

    Dorrough was charged with

    “one count of distributing a controlled substance (marijuana/cannabis) to a minor and posted bail on May 14,”

    the article stated.

    Man Sent to the Hospital After Fracturing Penis During Sex, Says He Heard a ‘Snap’

    A Tanzanian man had to be rushed to the hospital after hearing a

    “snap”

    during sex with his female partner, NY Post reported. 

    According to the International Journal of Surgery Case, the man heard a snap

    “when the penis slipped out, [and] lost the way”

    and struck the woman

    “as he was [tried] to reinsert it.”

    The was rushed to the hospital where he suffered a

    “fractured”

    penis. His penis was reportedly

    “swollen, painful, and bloody,”

    reports reveal. 

    Doctors say when the penis, which has no bones, is

    “fractured”

    it is known as

    “the tunica albuginea”

    which is when the

    “fibrous connective tissue, is injured or ruptured.” 

    According to the outlet, MRI showed that the man had wounded his penis in three areas along the tunica albuginea.

    reports state. He also suffered a

    “partial tear through the urethra,”

    the tube that carries semen and urine out of the penis, NY Post reported. 

    The Tanzanian man underwent surgery on his penis and was discharged within three days. He remained with a catheter after leaving the hospital that was later removed after 21 days.

    “He was seen at the clinic six month post-operative where he reported to have resumed his sexual life with no any difficulties and the penile shaft looked OK,”

    his doctors reported.

    Timbaland declared when discussing separating Kelly’s craft from his crimes.

    “Everybody jump when you say R. Kelly … I’m like, so we just gonna ignore his music that he gave us, that we all jam to?”

    “No, we can’t do that. His art is his art, I ain’t gonna bash the man’s art,”

    he added.

    “Don’t mix music up with personal. Music is a feeling, it stands alone. Music is something that don’t have no race, it brings people together. It don’t have no drama with it. It is a place of enjoyment; a feeling, so don’t bring drama into music. Leave that outside.”

    A judge sentenced R. Kelly to 20 years in prison on

    “three counts of producing child pornography and three counts of enticing a minor to engage in sexual activity”

    in the singer’s Chicago federal sex crimes case. He is currently serving time for his New York case of 30 years after being found guilty on

    “nine counts of racketeering and sex-trafficking charges.” 

    Timbaland never worked alongside Kelly, however, did produce songs, like

    “One in a Million” and “Try Again,”

    for the late Aaliyah, who married Kelly in 1994 when she was 15 and he was 27.

    White Lawyer That Spat on Black Student During a 2020 Protest Chooses Jail Over Probation

    A white lawyer who spat on a black high school student during an anti-racism march in Milwaukee in 2020 has chosen to go to jail over probation, AP News reported. 

    Stephanie Rapkin, 67, a Shorewood attorney was found guilty of

    “misdemeanor disorderly conduct”

    in April in connection to the incident, reports reveal. 

    According to the outlet, Rapkin tried infringing on the 2020 George Floyd protest in the Milwaukee area by parking her car in the middle of the street in an attempt to block demonstrators. She was approached by the teen, who reportedly

    “organized and led the march,”

    and other protestors who asked her to move. Rapkins then hocked up a loogie and spat it at the boy. 

    She was arrested and charged with a hate crime that was later reduced. On Tuesday Milwaukee County Judge Laura Crivello gave Rapkin the option of 60 days in jail or a year of probation with 100 hours of community service, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported. The lawyer declined the probation taking the 60-day sentence. 

    “It’s not viable,”

    she told the court.

    “I’d rather go to jail right now and take care of it.”

    Rapkin also faces a charge of assaulting a police officer who arrested her at her home the following day of the march. According to the criminal complaint, Rapkin

    “kneed him in the groin.”

    TikTok Files Federal Lawsuit Against Montana Over New Law Banning the App

    TikTok has filed a federal lawsuit against the state of Montana, Monday after a bill was passed that plans to ban the app from being downloaded in the state starting early next year, per NPR.

    TikTok is claiming that banning the social media app violates the US Constitution, including the First Amendment free speech clause as well as other federal laws, according to a complaint filed in Montana District Court. The Montana law

    “unlawfully abridges one of the core freedoms guaranteed by the First Amendment,”

    the suit states. The company also argued that the concerns surrounding the threat to

    “national security”

    and the Chinese government having access to US customer’s information, are

    “unfounded.” 

    The suit seeks to have the Montana law, which is set to go into effect in January 2024, overturned.

    “We are challenging Montana’s unconstitutional TikTok ban to protect our business and the hundreds of thousands of TikTok users in Montana,”

    TikTok spokesperson Brooke Oberwetter said in a statement.

    “We believe our legal challenge will prevail based on an exceedingly strong set of precedents and facts.”

    The bill which was signed by Montana Gov. Greg Gianforte last week, would fine companies like Apple and Google, which operate app stores, fees up to $10,000 a day if they make the app available for download within the state once it commences January 1, 2024.

    TikTok is owned by the Chinese internet company ByteDance. TikTok currently has 150 million users in the U.S., according to the company. Hypothetical concerns from the Biden administration on whether China uses the app to collect data on Americans, and spy on U.S. citizens have been debunked by TikTok’s chief executive, Shou Zi Chew.

    “I want to stress that the US side has not provided any evidence to prove that TikTok poses a threat to the national security of the US,”

    ministry spokesperson Mao Ning also said in defense of the app.

    he said. However, his wife said,

    “‘No that’s not what happened,’”

    Jackson claimed. According to LaTanya’s version, 

    “I actually had to go and talk to her grandfather because he told her he wanted to walk it down the aisle before he died,”

    the Shaft actor explained. 

    “So I went and asked him for her hand or whatever. And that’s probably what happened because I was on drugs and I don’t know what the hell was going on in my life. So she’s probably right, but I like my version better. It sounds so much fun.” 

    Jackson and LaTanya reportedly have one of the longest-term marriages in Hollywood. The couple have been together for 50 years and married for 42 years. They will be celebrating their 43rd anniversary in August, according to Jackson. They also share one child, Zoe Jackson, who is an Emmy award-winning reality show producer.

    The wife of a disabled man in England has been arrested along with his caregiver after subjecting him to

    “squalid conditions,”

    abusing him, stealing his disability checks, and neglecting his needs for years, reports Insider.  

    Tom Somerset-How, 40, who is wheelchair-bound, partially blind, and has cerebral palsy, was rescued by authorities in 2020 from his home in the town of Chichester, reports reveal. 

    Authorities discovered that Somerset-How had been restricted to one room by his wife, Sarah, and caregiver, George Webb, with who she’d been having an affair. Somerset-How was reportedly found malnourished, weighing 98 pounds, and living in filthy conditions

    “without sufficient food and drink for four years,”

    reports state. He also hadn’t had his teeth cleaned for a year, per ITV News. 

    “Sarah Somerset-How, 49, conspired with her husband’s carer, 40-year-old George Webb, to leave their victim bedbound and malnourished while they took advantage of him for their own gains,”

    said the police statement.

    Text messages shown in court between the wife and her husband’s caregiver revealed the nature of their relationship.

    “Get rid of him; go find yourself a man. I think you need to leave Tom and get your life back,”

    Webb said in a text to Sarah. She also texted Webb messages like,

    “Remember, we are just using him. He gets paid soon, so I will take money out of his account for weed.” 

    Sarah and Webb were found guilty of

    “wilful neglect and holding a person in slavery or servitude”

    on May 12, Sussex Police confirmed. Somerset-How is back in the care of his family and wants to

    “campaign for legislative change to get more rigorous spot checks on carers regulated by local authorities,”

    he expressed to the outlet.

    Man Accused of Kidnapping and Torturing Women Told Police Victims Tried to Burglarize His Home

    A California man who allegedly kidnapped two women and tortured them told officers that the victims tried to burglarize his home, reports Fox News. 

    Gilberto Puga, 53, contacted the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office the morning of May 14 about two women who had

    “burglarized his residence.”

    According to authorities, the two women called in shortly after

    “screaming for help,”

    it said in a press release. The victims were seen walking away from Puga’s residence when officers arrived. 

    Investigators confirmed

    “that the two females had not burglarized Puga’s residence but had been locked in Puga’s residence, held against their will, and tortured,”

    the sheriff’s office said. According to a criminal complaint obtained by local news outlet KTLA 5,

    “the suspect allegedly held the two victims in his enclosed patio for more than 30 minutes while he tortured them with a stun gun.”

    Puga, who reportedly has had past run-ins with the law, was arrested and charged with false imprisonment and torture. He is being held on $1 million bail. 

    Neighbors of Puga also came forward accusing him of suspicious behavior. One neighbor accused Puga of hitting on his 18-year-old daughter.

    “He pulls up and blocks her in our driveway,”

    the neighbor told KTLA.

    “He comes up and starts telling her how pretty she was and because it was also Valentine’s Day weekend, that if she doesn’t have a date, he’d love to take her out on a date.”

    The neighbor has since taken out a restraining order against Puga.
