Prankster Let Off Fart Spray Shutting Down School Campus for Days and Sending Students to Hospital

A high school prankster let off an extremely strong

    “fart spray”

onto his Texas school campus that sent six students to the hospital, NY Post reported.

The unnamed teen confessed to pulling the foul prank after seeing that his joke was no laughing matter. Fire officials were called to Caney Creek High School after receiving reports of “a smell of gas” lingering in the building.

Fire officials and hazardous response teams spent three days trying to locate the smell to no avail. Students and faculty started to pick up on the fuming scent Wednesday, prompting an immediate evacuation of all students. That day, six students were taken to the hospital due to complaints of severe headaches from the smell, Caney Creek Fire Chief Raymond Flannelly told KHOU-11. Eight others reported feeling ill, reports reveal.

Although fire officials confirmed that there were no gas leaks and the air quality in the building was safe, the school decided to still shut down classes for the remainder of the week, according to the Post. On Friday the culprit came forward and admitted to releasing the fart spray, advertised as a gag toy that

“creates a smell like real poo and fake vomit.”

“A student confessed to bringing a highly concentrated, prank, stink spray called Hensgaukt Fart Spray,”

the Caney Creek Fire & Rescue squad announced. Caney Creek High School Principal Jeff Stichler wrote a letter to parents promising to

“address it to the fullest extent of the Student Code of Conduct and the laws of the State of Texas,”

Trans Lifeguard Applicant Rejected After Exposing Breasts in Front of Kids at Pool During Tryouts

A transgender male was dismissed from lifeguard tryouts after removing his top in front of dozens of children, city officials said per the NY Post

“Through a citizen expressing concerns, my administration became aware of an incident where a biological female trainee in a lifeguard program was topless at one of our public pools,”

Mayor Lenny Curry said in a statement.

The unnamed individual, who was born a biological female but now identifies as male allegedly went topless when it was their turn to try out for a position as a lifeguard. However, the person had not yet received

    “top”

surgery to remove their breasts, reports reveal.

According to the Cecil Aquatic Center, twenty other trainees as young as 15 as well as dozens of children and their parents were in the vicinity. City official, Curry, said the person was denied the position due to the incident.

“I see no reason for our lifeguards to be forced to make changes to existing rules mandating that biological females cover their chests,”

    Curry said in a statement.

“Our parks and public pools are meant to be a place where families can feel safe to enjoy themselves.”

However,  local transgender activist, Cielo Sunsarae, told the local outlet that the applicant should have still been a contender regardless of his

    “chosen gender.”

“This individual here was coming for a position to protect the children and people at the pool… Kids don’t sexualize breasts, it’s the adults that are making it out bigger than what it is. What is the difference if the person had top surgery or not?”

    Sunsarae told ActionJax News.

Florida resident, Tironie Sterling, 22, was taken into custody on Tuesday for the shooting death of 41-year-old Thierry Bastien. The suspect is accused of getting into an altercation with a female employee at a Fort Lauderdale Walmart.

According to investigators, Sterling showed up at the Lauderdale Lakes store at 2 p.m. during his off-hours to meet with his female colleague. The two reportedly got into a verbal argument that led to a fight. Sterling allegedly dropped his handgun onto the floor during the altercation and tried to

    “snatch”

the woman’s phone. Arrest reports reveal that Sterling insisted the woman show him text messages on her phone to which she declined. Sterling then allegedly began to push the woman into the shelves.

The victim shouted for help but was not assisted by colleagues or Samaritans walking by, according to the report. That is when good Samaritan, Thierry Bastien, stepped in to help the woman and got into a scuffle with Sterling. During the brawl, investigators said Sterling picked up his gun from the ground and shot Bastien multiple times,

“hitting him in the chest, back, and lower extremities,”

“while engaged in a certain felony offense and robbery by sudden snatching with a firearm or weapon.”

  • Texas Shooter Accused of Killing 5 Neighbors Allegedly Broke His Wife’s Nose in the Past, Records Show

Texas Shooter Accused of Killing 5 Neighbors Allegedly Broke His Wife’s Nose in the Past, Records Show

The man accused of shooting 5 neighbors, including a child, in

    “execution style”

murder in Texas reportedly beat his wife in the past, who’s since been charged with helping hide the suspected shooter, per the NY Post.

Francisco Oropesa, 38, spent four days hiding out from police following the fatal shooting of 5 neighbors who reportedly asked him to stop shooting his rifle late Friday night because a baby was sleeping. Oropesa was later discovered by authorities, after a days-long search, under a pile of laundry. His wife, Divimara Lamar Nava, 53, was also arrested in connection with the shooting. Police say, Nava

“provided material aid and encouragement, food, clothes, and arranged transport,”

for the suspect while also cooperating with officers.

Now new court documents reveal that Nava was allegedly brutally beaten by Oropesa on June 14, 2022. According to the court document obtained by the outlet, Nava contacted authorities alleging that her husband had viciously attacked her during a drunken episode. She was left with a broken nose and rib, a black eye, a skull fracture, and bruises on her body, according to the records.

Nava refused to press charges against Oropesa but a protective order was later filed against him. She told deputies that the abuse happened once before about 11 years ago, San Jacinto County District Attorney Todd Dillon told the outlet. Oropesa was ordered to

“stay away from Nava and her child, to vacate the residence they shared, and to be barred from possessing a firearm or ammunition,”

    reports reveal.

Records show that the county attempted to serve Oropesa five times but was unsuccessful due to authorities not being able to locate him, Dillion said. It is unclear if Nava ever called officials about her husband violating the protective order. Oropesa was also reportedly deported four times since 2009. He was caught on Tuesday and is being held in San Jacinto County Jail. His bond is set at $7.5 million, reports note.

“These bags may still be subject to search,”

the district said on its website.

“We have thought long and hard about this decision, knowing that it will impact how scholars and families prepare for their days and operations in the classroom,”

    Superintendent Kevelin Jones said.

“However, based on the issues we continue to see across the country regarding school safety, we believe that this is the best solution for those we serve.”

“We apologize for any inconvenience that this policy will have on our scholars and families, but when it comes to the safety of our school community, we will not take any chances,”

Ed Sheeran Threatens To Leave Music Career Behind If He Loses Copyright Lawsuit

Ed Sheeran told the Manhattan federal court, Monday that he will step away from music indefinitely if he is found guilty in his copyright infringement trial, reports Huff Post.

The pop singer is facing a lawsuit against Ed Townsend’s estate, co-writer of Marvin Gaye’s 70’s classic

    “Let’s Get It On,”

over claims that his 2014 hit

    “Thinking Out Loud”

    stole similar

    “elements”

    from the song.

“The two songs share versions of a similar and unprotectable chord progression that was freely available to all songwriters,”

    Townsend’s daughter Kathryn previously stated.

The singer-songwriter took the stand, announcing that he will leave music behind forever if he loses this trial.

“If that happens, I’m done, I’m stopping,”

    he said.

“I find it really insulting to devote my whole life to being a performer and a songwriter and have someone diminish it,”

    he further explained.

Sheeran credited Irish musician Van Morrison for the inspiration behind his break-out single.

“Quite frankly, if I’d done what you’re accusing me of doing, I’d be quite an idiot to stand on a stage in front of 20,000 people and do that,”

    he told the court.

The plaintiffs are suing for $100 million in restitution.
