Britney Spears’ recent vacation took a turn when she was reprimanded for her behavior on a flight. Sources informed PEOPLE that while flying from Cabo San Lucas to Los Angeles, the 43-year-old singer drank booze and “lit a cigarette,” violating federal aviation rules, prompting flight attendants to alert officials.

Upon landing at LAX, Spears was greeted by officials who warned her about her inappropriate actions during the flight. After the warning, she was allowed to leave the airport, per PEOPLE.

“This is not her first warning… She doesn’t exactly follow the rules,” an unnamed source told PEOPLE.

The public charter airline that Spears used, JSX, has not commented on the incident. A rep for Spears did not respond to requests for a statement. TMZ initially reported on the incident.
