  • Keisha Knight Pulliam Hopes ‘The Cosby Show’ Maintains Its Legendary Buzz Amid Bill Cosby’s Legal Woes

Keisha Knight Pulliam Hopes ‘The Cosby Show’ Maintains Its Legendary Buzz Amid Bill Cosby’s Legal Woes

Keisha Knight Pulliam is willing to elevate the Cosby Show above one man, even though it was centered around him. Decades after the sitcom was applauded for its relevance and authenticity, the actress wants people to keep the energy and not mind Bill Cosby’s controversies.

    Everyone Loved The Cosby Show

Until African-American-oriented shows like Everybody Hates Chris and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air became a reality, sitcom lovers had The Cosby Show.

The all-black cast featured Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Phylicia Rashad, a young Keisha Knight Pulliam, Bill Cosby, and Lisa Bonet.

It ran for eight years, churning out different stories peculiar to the black community. It was a breath of fresh air, offering people a getaway from racial stereotypes.

Since its conclusion, stars from the show have moved on to other things. While most have remained in the entertainment industry, one or two have been webbed in drama. Still, no one comes close to the disgraced entertainer Bill Cosby.

The 86-year-old has been in and out of court for years trying to clear his name. Many women have pointed at him with accusations of sexual assault and misconduct. In 2018 alone, over 50 women testified to being a subject or victim of his sexual abuse, which often involved being drugged.

Bill Cosby has been in and out of courthouses maintaining his innocence, while he has also settled out of court on one occasion. On top of that, he has served a jail term for a few years.

Keisha Knight Pulliam Wants The Cosby Show To Be Revered For What It Was

Till the end of time, Keisha, who starred as a little girl in The Cosby Show, will be remembered for her brilliant role. But it has become easy to associate the entire project with the man who bears the same name.

This has pushed Kiesha to make a case for the iconic show, asking fans not to strip off its glory. As per PEOPLE, she quipped:

“A lot of actors wait their entire lifetime for an opportunity like that. I’m grateful I have been a part of a piece of work that has really transcended generations and that’s still teaching lessons that are relevant today.”

Kiesha’s hope is not something impossible. Though some fans may find it difficult to separate the artist from the craft, it would make sense to consider the efforts of other stars who jointly made the show worthy of mention.

Beyoncé’s New Movie To Be Releases on World AIDS Day

Renaissance means rebirth, and that is what fans would feast their eyes on when the film debuts on December 1, 2023, worldwide. This coincides with World AIDS Day. • When Will Jon Snow’s Game Of Thrones: Spin-Off Be Released?

When Will Jon Snow’s Game Of Thrones: Spin-Off Be Released?

Fans waiting to see “the bastard Stark,” Jon Snow, in the Game Of Thrones spin-off may be a bit disappointed. So far, there is no suggestion that any show will be based on his character.

The Only Game of Thrones Spin-Off Approved

HBO CEO Casey Bloys has been open about what is in the works. According to the New York Post, he told TV Line that there is only one Game of Thrones spin-off at the moment.

Bloys mentioned the Dunk and Eggs series spotlighting one of George R.R Martin’s works. Despite having only earned the green light on just one, other scripts and ideas are still being explored.

The Jon Snow Inspired Spin-Off That Never Came

Martin has been the mastermind behind the entire Game of Thrones story, including the prequel House of The Dragons. Last year, he teased fans with a blog post referring to Jon Snow. If it had set sail, the story would have focused on Snow’s journey as an exile of Westeros.

The news excited fans at seeing their favorite English cast, Kit Harrington, back on the Game Of Thrones Spin-Off. Rumor had it that the series was a creative storyline that would reinforce fans’ faith in it, considering how Games of Thrones ended in 2019.

Harrington couldn’t agree any less, he wanted more from his character. During an interview, he shared
“I think if you asked him, he would’ve felt he got off lightly.”

Now that there is no 100% certainty of Jon Snow in a spinoff, fans would either take it in good fate or binge the previous Game of Thrones series. Another option would be to hope for the soon-to-premiere shows (on probability), including Tales of Dunk and Egg, 9 Voyages, 10,000 Ships, and Flea Bottom.
