On Monday, January 16th, at around 9:30 P.M., Nebraska state troopers noticed Nissan Pathfinder traveling at 35 miles per hour on I-80. When the officers attempts to pull the vehicle over, the SUV started to slow but then accelerated. According to state patrol documents, the suspect vehicle reached over 100 miles per hour.

Texas Kidnapper Used Fake Name While Dating Victim Was Discovered To Be Married

On January 11th, the friends of Kayla Kelley contacted police in McKinney, Texas after she was not seen or heard from by relatives and coworkers for several days. The next day, her car was found on a deserted country road. Police say the vehicle “had been burned beyond recognition and the incident was not consistent with a natural fire.”

When deputies looked for Kelley at her apartment, they discovered her dog. “The dog was without food and water and had to relieve itself on the floor,” authorities wrote. “It appeared the dog had been in that condition for a few days. Family and relatives advised the dog was like Kelley’s child and she would never leave it unattended for an extended period of time.”

While interviewing the friends and family members of Kelley, it was discovered that she had a boyfriend named “Kevin,” who she initially met online. According to Law And Crime, Kelley had recently learned that he had been married to another woman the entirety of their relationship and she intended to confront him about it.

When police searched Kelley’s phone records, they discovered that the man she knew as “Kevin” was actually Ocastor Shavon Ferguson. Cell phone records of the 32-year-old showed that he had been in the area of Kelley’s apartment and the area that her car was found, and then traveled back to his home in Grand Prairie on January 10th. He has since then refused to cooperate with police and disclose Kelley’s location and her condition.

On Saturday, January 14th, Ferguson was arrested on kidnapping and arson charges. Authorities believe more charges are soon to follow as the investigation continues. He is currently being held at Collin County Sheriff’s Office on a $1 million bond.

  • Armed Movie Theater Security Guard Arrested After Forcing Himself Onto 15-Year-Old Girl In Empty Theater

Armed Movie Theater Security Guard Arrested After Forcing Himself Onto 15-Year-Old Girl In Empty Theater

On January 14th, an unnamed 15-year-old was dropped off at a Regal movie theater in Ocala, Florida by her mother so that she could watch a movie with a group of friends. After the movie had finished, the teen couldn’t get ahold of her mother. When the grandfather of one of her friends came to pick their grandchild up, he “refused to offer the victim a ride home.” A security guard employed at the theater, Augusta J. Williams, “informed the grandfather that he would watch over the victim until she could get a ride home,” Ocala Police Department said in a statement.

Williams then took the teenage girl to an empty theater playing the movie “Whale,” and brought her near the movie screen, behind the curtains. The victim thought that Williams was leading her to an exit so that he could take her home, but then he forced himself onto her. While being interviewed by investigators, the victim stated that she did not wish to engage in any sexual contact with Williams, but she was “fearful because he was armed with a gun.” She pleaded with him to stop, but Williams continued to assault her. He then made threats in order to keep her from reporting him.

After the assault, the victim’s mother was found inside the cinema’s lobby. Her phone hadn’t been working properly, and she wasn’t able to get in contact with her daughter, but went to look for her when she didn’t come home on time. The following day, the victim told her mother about what had happened, and they notified authorities, Law and Crime reported.

Regal’s security footage corroborated with the victims claims and showed Williams taking the teenaged girl into the empty theater, and leaving around twenty minutes later. A UV light behind the curtain also revealed possible physical evidence of the crime. Williams told investigators that he had only “assisted the victim in looking for her lost cell phone,” but the theater that the victim and her friends had watched a movie in was a different theater than the one Williams had taken the victim to.

Augusta J. Williams was attested and charged with sexual battery of a victim under the age of 18. The 31-year-old was taken to Marion County Jail and remains there on a $50,000 bond. He is scheduled to reappear in court February 21st.

“Heinous crimes like this can cause victims to feel paralyzed and overwhelmed, leaving them struggling to take action,” the department said in a statement. “We commend the victim for her strength and courage to come forward to law enforcement and seek justice. We applaud all our officers and staff for their hard work and efforts to make our community safe.”

Parents Outraged Over School Board Member’s Comments About ‘Whiteness’, Says White People Are More Dangerous Than Animals

A Jackson County School board member, Kesha Hamilton, is receiving backlash for her recent tweets where she called

    “Whiteness” an “evil,”

    per Fox News

The tweets, shared by Libs of TikTok, display a thread of Hamilton’s comments where she addresses white women as the

    “stupidest”

    and calls

    “Whiteness” an “evil.”

    It reads,

“Whiteness is so evil.. it manipulates then says, I won’t apologize for my dishonesty and trauma inducing practices and thinks you should applaud it for being honest about its ability to manipulate and be dishonest. #Deceitful #Perfidous.”

She went on to say that white people are more ‘dangerous’ than animals.

“The last thing you have to worry about is an animal – though that could be a very real threat.. more dangerous are any whites you may see on the trail.. be safe!”

Fox News reached out to Hamilton for comments where she defended her Twitter rant.

“Whiteness defined is ‘white racialized identity (which) refers to the way that white people, their customs, culture and beliefs operate as the standard by which all other groups are compared,”

    she told the outlet.

“Whiteness is a construct, a normalization with a foundation in white supremacy, recent examples of the normalization of whiteness with a foundation of white supremacy are the murder of George Floyd, the massacre of Black residents in Buffalo, NY, the attempted kidnapping of MI Governor Whitmer, the attack on our Democracy on January 6th, 2021, inconsistencies of our criminal justice system, etc.”

Parents are outraged by Hamilton’s comments and want her to be immediately removed.

“Her racist comments should not be condoned. How can all kids feel safe when physical characteristics over which they have no control are being called evil and dangerous,”

parent, Gina Hastings said during a public comment held on Tuesday. She also called Hamilton

    “angry and bitter.”

  • Trans Dad Got Pregnant After One-Night Stand During Transition, Says ‘I Wanted To Carry At Least One Child’

Trans Dad Got Pregnant After One-Night Stand During Transition, Says ‘I Wanted To Carry At Least One Child’

A 36-year-old trans dad from Seattle who identifies as non-binary and queer has taken to TikTok to share their journey of giving birth after getting pregnant by a one-night stand during their medical transition, NY Post reported.

Danny Wakefield says they were assigned female at birth but now identify with masculinity. Wakefield reportedly started transitioning at the age of 25 when they started taking testosterone treatments and underwent a double mastectomy (a surgical operation to remove breasts). In 2020 Wakefield revealed they were expecting a child after a one-night stand with an unnamed man.

Although Wakefield identifies as a trans man, they said,

“I’ve known for my entire life that I’ve wanted children and I knew before I transitioned that I would want to carry at least one child.”

Continuing the story on TikTok Wakefield said,

“just because I don’t feel like a woman, that doesn’t mean I can’t take advantage of the body organs I was born with.”

“It was the most beautiful experience I’ve ever had. I’ve fallen in love with my body in ways that I’ve never experienced before,”

they added. Despite the trans dad’s ‘beautiful experience’ they said they are still non-binary.

“I was born with a uterus and so the world said I was a girl, but I’m very much not a girl,”

    they wrote.

“I’m also not a boy. I’m non-binary! I have the reproductive system that allows me to carry and give birth to a child, so that’s what I did. Transmen and non-binary people give birth, too.”

Wakefield gave birth to their baby ‘Wilder’ in 2020, to whose gender Wakefield has not yet identified as it’s

    “part of their story,”

    they told the outlet.

  • Facebook and Instagram Will Reportedly Lift Ban On Bare Breast, But Only For Trans and Non-Binary Users

Facebook and Instagram Will Reportedly Lift Ban On Bare Breast, But Only For Trans and Non-Binary Users

Instagram and Facebook will reportedly allowed trans and non-binary users to go topless on the platforms if they like, but not users who were born female. Meta’s Oversight Board declared for the social media platforms to take the ban off of topless photos for users who identify as trans and non-binary, according to the New York Post

    The board says

“the same image of female-presenting nipples would be prohibited if posted by a cisgender woman but permitted if posted by an individual self-identifying as non-binary.”

The board revealed a previous overturned decision they made, which was couple who posted a topless photo but concealed their nipples. The pair described themselves as non-binary and trans; however, the picture was reported by other users causing it to be taken down and banned by Meta. Although it was banned, the photo was later restored after the couple won their appeal.

According to the board, Meta will depend on

    “human reviewers”

    who will be assigned to

“quickly assess both a user’s sex, as this policy applies to ‘female nipples,’ and their gender identity.”

This change is the result of complaints against both platforms that allege the former rules discriminate against users who are gender-fluid. The board continued to say that they’ll be

“additional nipple-related exceptions based on contexts of protest, birth-giving, after birth, and breastfeeding which it did not examine here, but also must be assessed.”

A Meta spokesperson told The Post,

“We welcome the board’s decision in this case… We are constantly evaluating our policies to help make our platforms safer for everyone.”

“We know more can be done to support the LGBTQ+ community, and that means working with experts and LGBTQ+ advocacy organizations on a range of issues and product improvements,”

    the spokesperson continued.

  • Deaf Woman Wins $180K Settlement From Hospital That Refused To Hire Her, Woman Says She Was Capable Of Doing The Job

Deaf Woman Wins $180K Settlement From Hospital That Refused To Hire Her, Woman Says She Was Capable Of Doing The Job

It looks like a deaf woman, Kayla Vogt, from Minnesota has won a $180,000 lawsuit settlement from a hospital after she was denied employment as a greeter. Reports say the hospital told her that the pandemic mask regulation may stop her ability to communicate and read lips. The 26-year-old said in the federal lawsuit that she was capable of getting the job done. She applied to North Memorial Health back in 2020, reports the Star Tribune

The job role consisted of greeting visitors as well as enforcing mask regulations. She would also have to keep the area arranged and give directions to visitors. In the lawsuit, she mentioned that she has hearing aids, which allows her to

“hear people speaking without any difficulty. Vogt can communicate verbally [and] can also communicate with American Sign Language.”

North Memorial Health argued that the greeters

“needed to communicate quickly and succinctly with visitors regarding visitor policy, assess visitors’ understanding and compliance, and troubleshoot [while] communication was significantly hindered by COVID-necessitated face masks.”

This week, the 26-year-old and the hospital came to a

    “consent decree.”

This means that although the hospital has denied that they did anything wrong, they chose to give her the funds and take other measures to acknowledge an individual’s rights that are secured under the Americans with Disabilities Act, reports the news outlet.

Within the two-year term of the consent decree the hospital has to

“apply its disability anti-discrimination and reasonable accommodation policies”

to each applicant and train all employees who are affiliated with the hiring process.
