Egg Hunt Turns Violent When A Man Was Stabbed After Argument Over ‘Egg Placement’

A dispute during an Easter egg hunt at a school in Michigan turned violent, resulting in a stabbing incident. The authorities were alerted and responded to the incident at Valley View Elementary School in Battle Creek, reports Fox News. Reports say the incident ensued following a verbal disagreement over the egg placement. 

Upon arrival, authorities discovered a 36-year-old man holding a knife. According to investigators, a man and a woman engaged in a dispute regarding the arrangement of the eggs.

The police statement said,

“When a family member intervened, the male produced a knife, cutting them multiple times.” 

Deputies successfully persuaded the man to surrender the knife, leading to his arrest. Although the victim sustained small injuries, a full recovery was anticipated. The suspect, a Battle Creek resident, was apprehended and charged with aggravated assault.
