A manager at the 4th Avenue South Hilton Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee has been apprehended after sneaking into a man’s room and sucking on his toes, officials say. 52-year-old David Neal reportedly snuck into the male customer’s room as he slept. According to the New York Post, the incident occurred on March 30.

WKRN reported that the evening manager cultivated a key card and went to the man’s room close to 5 a.m. The customer informed officials that when he woke up, his toes were in Neal’s mouth. He then confronted the hotel staffer. He identified Neal as a hotel employee who went to his room the day before to repair his TV, officials say.

The hotel manager confessed to entering the room; however, he said he did so because he smelled smoke and wanted to ensure the safety of the guest. Officials say Neal failed to report that he smelled smoke and no other guests made reports about smoke. Neal told authorities that he threw the key away. He was later arrested at his home and charged with aggravated burglary and assault, according to police.
