Jamie Foxx is back in the game after suffering a near-fatal health scare.

And to those who loved him through it, the Clone Tyrone actor is eternally grateful and gave an emotional speech Monday night at the Critics’ Choice Association Awards Celebration of Cinema & Television Honoring Black, Latino & AAPI Achievements.

“You know, it’s crazy, I couldn’t do that six months ago — I couldn’t actually walk,” Foxx said before he was overcome with emotion while receiving the Vanguard award, Deadline reports.

Foxx made it a point to begin his 12-minute speech by recapping his difficulties following the medical complications he experienced in April. The ordeal had the internet humming as his family kept things close, avoiding any slips about what exactly happened to the star.

But it was the rumors and misinformation that flooded the internet that had Foxx in stitches.

“I’m not a clone, I’m not a clone. I know a lot of people who were saying I was cloned out there,” he joked. “I want to thank everybody. I’ve been through something; I’ve been through some things.
“I cherish every single minute now — it’s different,” he said. “I wouldn’t wish what I went through on my worst enemy because it’s tough when it’s almost over … when you see the tunnel. I saw the tunnel — I didn’t see the light.”

Welcome back Jamie.
