Musician Lil Scrappy broke the news of Dwight Howard and Amy Luciani’s marriage on his Instagram story on Friday, December 20, 2024.

“@dwighthoward & my sis @amylucianiworld dne tied the niznyee,” the rapper wrote in his Instagram story clip.

In the video, Howard and Luciani could be seen dancing intimately in a club. “Got yo’ a*s!! That s**t lit! Amen!” the No Problem rapper yelled as he recorded the dancing couple stuck close to each other as they danced to Something in My Heart.

As Lil Scrappy yelled, someone tapped Howard to catch his attention, and he and Luciani turned toward their friend, who was recording their moment on his phone. The couple also posed for the camera while Luciani smiled shyly before they both turned away. Meanwhile, Howard and his alleged bride have yet to confirm or deny their nuptials. However, when she turned toward Lil Scrappy, Luciani showed off the ring on her finger in the clip.

Howard posted two pictures of himself and a smiling Luciani at an event on his social media page and another of himself alone.

Luciani also reciprocated with nine media posts of herself and her beau.

“I was enjoying you so much out of the public eye but here we are. Thank you for bringing me back to the word,” she captioned the post. “Anything I say or fuss about, first thing you say is ‘Did you pray about it?’ Then I realized I hadn’t being praying much lately at all. I’m just thankful, happy and ready for everything that’s coming our way.”

In July 2021, a man, Stephen Harper, filed a lawsuit accusing the basketball star of sexual assault, which he claimed happened in Howard’s home. However, Howard denied Harper’s claims of assault and battery and claimed their encounter was consensual. His lawyer also contended that Harper deleted text messages that would have proved their sexual relations were not forced. Harper dismissed the lawsuit with prejudice a month later.
