It looks like a new principal from Kentucky was arrested on his very first day as principal, FOX reports. 44-year-old Leroy Littles Sr. began working as the new principal at Olmsted Academy North in Louisville; however, that was short lived after he was arrested in connection to a domestic violence encounter on Dec. 25, 2022.

At the school, he was served a warrant for his arrest for fourth-degree assault and third-degree terroristic threatening.

A police report attained by WDRB-TV said the 44-year-old went to his girlfriend’s home and witnessed her leaving with a former boyfriend. When he got into a verbal confrontation with her, he attacked her former beau, who sustained injuries to his head and face. The victim allegedly has footage of the attack, which was given to the Bullitt County Attorney’s Office.

A letter was released to parents by the Jefferson County Public Schools regarding his arrest, which said,

“You may have seen or heard local media stories about allegations against Olmsted North Principal Leroy Littles, Sr. The charges are unrelated to JCPS.”

The assistant principal was put in charge of the school. Reports added that Littles worked for the district for 16 years.
