Mormon TikTok Influencer Taylor Frankie Paul Arrested For Domestic Violence And Child Abuse

TikTok influencer Taylor Frankie Paul has been arrested and charged with domestic violence and child abuse, CBS News reported.

On February 17, police in Herriman, Utah received a call about a domestic dispute. Dakota Mortensen, Paul’s boyfriend, told police that during their squabble, his girlfriend became violent. She allegedly began slapping him, choking him, and then started throwing heavy items at him. Unfortunately, her aim was subpar and she missed, hitting her 5-year-old daughter in the head with a barstool. Luckily, her other child, a 2-year-old, was asleep in another room and was unharmed.

Despite Paul denying the accusations, security footage within the home, along with a large bump on her daughter’s head, confirmed Mortensen’s claims. In the video, Paul is seen kicking the victim, and throwing a child’s wooden playset at him, which also missed him but damaged his car.

Paul has since been arrested and charged with aggravated assault, child abuse, criminal mischief, and two counts of domestic violence in the presence of a child. She is scheduled to appear in court March 21st.

“Ms. Paul’s status as a social media influencer has no bearing or impact on the investigation or outcome of this case,” the Herriman Police Department said in a statement. “All allegations of domestic violence are investigated thoroughly in accordance with state law and established criminal justice best practices to protect victims and ensure accountability.”
