Suspect Identified After Video Shows Shooting Of Homeless Man: “He Just F***ing Killed Him!”

A 23-year-old man is now in police custody after shooting a homeless man in the back of the head in an execution-style manner in broad daylight, Law And Crime reported.

On Monday, February 27th, at approximately 10 A.M., Deshawn Thomas began arguing with David Saldana outside of a gas station in downtown St. Louis, Missouri. Minutes later, Saldana sits down at the edge of a curb, while Thomas walks towards him from behind. Thomas then reaches into his coat pocket to pull out a magazine, loads his firearm, and then fatally shoots Saldana in the back of the head.

The shooting, which was captured on video through a smart phone, has been posted online, where it’s since gone viral on multiple forms of social media. The man filming the incident can be heard yelling, “He just f***ing killed him!”

After the attack, Thomas immediately fled the scene. Several hours later, he was located at the St. Louis Public Library, and arrested without incident. Found with him was a handgun and a bullet casing. Thomas has been charged with one count of first-degree murder and one count of armed criminal action, and remains in custody without bail.
