Fugitive Arrested After ‘Biting a Woman’s Chin Off’ During ‘Meth Infused’ Rage

An Oklahoma fugitive is looking at multiple felony charges after he allegedly bit off his girlfriend’s chin and failed to show up to numerous court hearings, Fox News reported.

Police were able to track down DeWaunte Leemont Nunley, 39, and arrested him on charges of domestic assault & battery by strangulation as well as maiming in the 2021 attack on his girlfriend at the time, Carey Johnson.

According to Johnson, Nunley went on a

    “meth-infused”

rage before the attack, she told CBS affiliate KWTV.

“It just looked like it wasn’t him. His eyes changed, his voice changed, his whole demeanor and he snapped,”

    Johnson told the station.

“I tried to get out of the car but he pulled me in and started to kind of push me down like this so I couldn’t breathe, and I couldn’t yell.”

Nunley previously plead guilty to the charges and was sentenced to time served plus an additional 10 years of supervised release. However, Nunley never turned up to any of the three consecutive domestic violence review hearings he had in February, March, and April of 2023. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

“Today, Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Deputy Joe Hagar was able to track down a dangerous fugitive who was wanted on a warrant, charging him for biting a woman’s chin off!”

the agency said in a statement, Wednesday.

“Nunley, who has a lengthy criminal history, failed to show up for court so a warrant was issued for his arrest. Deputy Hagar tracked Mr. Nunley to a homeless camp where he was arrested without incident on that outstanding warrant.”

Wisconsin Woman Fatally Shoots Car Salesman While Arguing Over Faulty Vehicle

A Wisconsin woman is now in police custody after a heated argument led to the fatal shooting of a car dealership employee, the Wisconsin State Journal reported.

The Middleton Police Department is investigating the death of Kawsu Samba after a shooting occurred at MSI Auto Sales in Middleton, Wisconsin, the 34-year-old’s place of work. Two hours later, 23-year-old Jakira Anderson was located and arrested without incident.

According to police documents, Anderson had been at the dealership for more than four hours, attempting to get a refund or an exchange for a faulty vehicle she had recently leased. When the conversation with Samba escalated, the suspect pulled out a gun and shot the victim as he attempted to push her out of the building.

Anderson, who had purchased the gun legally and carried it in her waistband, told police that she had no intentions of harming the man. She says that she wanted to intimidate him. “I wasn’t trying to kill him- just scare (him) away,” she allegedly told Detective Daniel Jones. “I didn’t think I was going to hit him. I wasn’t even aiming or nothing.”

Unfortunately, though Samba was taken to a nearby hospital, his wounds were too great and he was pronounced dead shortly after. Anderson was later charged with first-degree intentional homicide. She is scheduled to reappear in court on March 30th, and is being held on a $1 million bond.

State Assistant Public Defender Adam Welch says that though Anderson fled the scene after the shooting, “there are also facts in the complaint suggesting that Miss Anderson felt threatened at that time and was afraid.” The criminal complaint against the suspect stated that video from the dealership’s surveillance footage showed Samba repeatedly pushing and shoving Anderson, but no additional information has been provided.
