    Gilbert Arenas‘s son, Alijah Arenas, has been in a terrible accident. The 18-year-old was with others in a Cybertruck when the car crashed. He has been placed in a medically induced coma. His mother, Laura Govan, asked for prayers on her Instagram account shortly after the incident. Alijah is a promising NBA star and had just committed to USC before his accident.

    Gilbert Arenas’ Son Involved In Ghastly Car Crash

    Gilbert Arenas’ son, Alijah Arenas, was involved in a serious Cybertruck accident early Thursday morning. ESPN NBA’s Shams Charania posted about the accident on X, formerly Twitter, writing, “Five-star prospect and USC commit Alijah Arenas was involved in a serious car crash early Thursday morning.” He added that Alijah was “hospitalized and placed into an induced coma. Arenas, 18, is the son of former NBA star Gilbert Arenas.”

    High school hoops insider Tarek Fattal also confirmed the same on the platform. Fattal revealed that Gibert Arenas’ son didn’t suffer any broken bones. He divulged that Alijah was placed in a coma because of smoke inhalation, which is standard protocol for such cases. Per TMZ, Alijah suffered serious injuries from the accident. The cause of the crash is currently unknown, but the pictures show a mangled Cybertruck. The completely damaged vehicle hit a tree on the side of the road in a Los Angeles neighborhood.

    Alijah’s Mom Asks For Prayers

    The mother of Gilbert Arenas’ son, Laura Govan, shared on Instagram that she needed prayers for her boy. She told her 1.5 million followers after the news went viral, “I NEED YOUR F**KEN PRAYERS,” and added multiple praying hands emojis. Alijah’s accident occurred around 4:55 am. Firefighters arrived at the scene shortly afterward.

    They came in response to a call for help to rescue a victim trapped inside a vehicle. Emergency crews followed shortly after. However, everyone inside the Cybertruck had reportedly exited before they arrived. Sources also reported that the front of the car was on fire.

    Gilbert Arenas’ Son Was On Track To Become An NBA Star

    Gilbert Arenas’ son wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps and has already made a name for himself. He committed to USC in January and is considered the No. 1 shooting guard in the nation. He has also been ranked as the No. 4 overall prospect in the class of 2026. Gilbert Arenas’ son is a five-star prospect and top-five recruit. According to a December 2024 ESPN report, he recently reclassified to the 2025 class. He was also selected for the 2025 McDonald’s All-American Game.

    Gilbert Arenas said of his son at the time, “We’re reclassing up right now. I think they just approved it today. This is his senior year now.” Alijah became one of the five best available recruits in the country after completing the reclassification.

    Fans are offering up prayers for Gilbert Arenas’ son and hoping he comes out of the coma unscathed. Hopefully, everyone’s prayers will be answered, and the young talent will survive the accident without lingering issues.

    Gilbert Arenas has shared his two cents on Steve Smith Sr.’s infidelity allegations. The former athlete, together with some former NBA stars, commented on Smith’s situation and mocked him for being with a married woman. Steve Smith Sr. was recently hit with infidelity allegations by a man who claimed the NFL star was sleeping with his wife. The man also shared proof of his wife’s and Smith’s secret rendezvous.

    Man Hits Steve Smith Sr. With Infidelity Allegations

    Steve Smith Sr. is currently on the hot seat following some serious allegations of infidelity leveled against him over the weekend. An X user, Tony Martinez (@Lambeaughini), took to the platform on Friday, February 21, with allegations of sexual misconduct against the former Baltimore Ravens wide receiver. Martinez replied with his now-deleted account to a video of Smith golfing, asking if his wife knew he was cheating on her. The question raised eyebrows and went viral quickly.

    Martinez claimed that his wife, Nicole Martinez, was a member of the Baltimore Ravens marching band, the Marching Ravens. He alleged that his wife met Smith Sr. during this time.

    “My wife works for the Marching Ravens @Ravens,” Martinez wrote in a since-deleted post on X. “She met Steve Smith Sr at work. Steve Smith has been [bleeping] my wife. I got receipts, I got a lot more homie.”

    Tony Martinez Provides Evidence of Steve Smith’s Infidelity

    Tony Martinez not only hit Steve Smith Sr. with infidelity allegations, but he also provided proof of the latter’s alleged misconduct. He shared screenshots of sexts between his wife and the former Carolina Panthers, quoting them while replying to the questions from Smith’s former teams, news outlets, and large accounts. Additionally, Martinez responded to Kanye West’s inquiries about Steve Smith Sr.’s infidelity allegations and tagged the NFL Network analyst’s sponsors, including Yeti Coolers and TaylorMade.

    In addition to the screenshots, Martinez also shared a phone call recording that seemingly confirmed the infidelity allegations against Steve Smith Sr. During the phone call, Martinez confronted Smith, asking him why he slept with his wife. The person on the other end, supposedly Smith, repeatedly replied, “I’m sorry.” There was also a picture of a bare-chested Smith in the bathroom with a unicorn graphic covering his midsection in the video the offended husband shared.

    Ex-NBA Stars React To Steve Smith Sr.’s Infidelity Allegations

    Shortly after the infidelity allegations against Steve Smith Sr went viral, recently married Gilbert Arenas, Nick Young, and Brandon Jennings reacted to the trending news. In footage obtained by Onsite, the trio joked about the situation and mocked Smith for messing around with a married woman. The former NBA stars also reacted to a post by an account claiming to be Nicole Martinez, the other woman.

    “Hi, I am Nicole Martinez, though I won’t be a Martinez much longer,” the post read, per Bigowhispers on Instagram.

    It continued:

    “I have been cheating on my husband. And I have been doing so with the very famous Steve Smith Sr. Pics attached for reference. My husband bought me a house. He stood by my side after I had been arrested twice for domestic violence. And this is how I repay him and our son.”

    Additionally, the post asked for punishment from the fraternity Nicole belonged to. Meanwhile, the wording made Arenas suspect Tony posted it.

    “This man done got done broke into his wife’s phone and wrote that,” he said.

    Steve Smith Sr. has yet to confirm or deny the cheating allegations. The former NFL star has been married to his wife, Angie, since 2000. They share four children, and one can only imagine what is going on with them. Time will tell what action Smith and his representatives will take on this situation.

    While Arenas does his thing as a podcast creator, his plus one is a YouTube content creator and influencer. Apart from having a similar line of work, these two share a heartwarming love story. It all began after they met online, during Monaco’s YouTube live. What followed was a smooth relationship that blossomed into something beautiful.

    In July 2024, after only a year of dating, the retired sports star was convinced he had found his Mrs. Right. Following a trip to Paris,  Arenas decided to seal the deal by asking Monaco to marry him. Not long after that, the YouTuber reciprocated the proposal by giving her fiancée an engagement ring. But rather than settle for a serene environment,  the influencer chose a club. More recently, the duo surprised fans with photos of a private wedding ceremony, suggesting it was a done deal.

    Hours ago, the NBA star teased fans with a slide show of rare images. These photos spotlighted genuinely happy lovers who recently said their “I dos.”  The new Mr. and Mrs. couldn’t help but smile from ear to ear. But apart from their wide-eyed grins, the couple went out to enjoy their special day while dressed in striking outfits.

    Arenas opted for the conventional two-piece suit but chose the color blue— as for Monaco, she felt beautiful in a non-conventional mini-wedding dress. Her white-colored below-the-knee dress did well to flatter her toned legs with feet that slipped easily into crisp white strappy heels. For the occasion, the bride flaunted her arm tattoo, opted for a natural makeup look, and added dainty jewelry pieces as adornment.

    The camera’s lenses also captured goofy moments when they kissed and played lovingly. But more than anything else, the newlyweds notified fans of their non-conforming stance— their wedding rings did not look like the regular ones. While Arenas chose a white ring, his wife’s middle finger accommodated a simple, thin-lined gold ring. But what stole the show the most was the podcast creator’s declaration via a caption that read:

    “I finally did it y’all @mellimonaco is officially Mrs Arenas.”

    Many fans couldn’t hold their excitement as they congratulated the couple and wished them a happy time.

    This is not the first time that Arenas has experienced love. A few years ago, he was with Laura Govan, his ex-fianceè. The former couple welcomed four kids: Alijah, Izela, Hamiley, and Aloni. However, things soon turned sour, and the couple never made it down the aisle as they called off their engagement.
