  • Terrence Howard’s Former Agents Dismiss His Allegations That He Was Underpaid On ‘Empire’ As ‘Utterly Meritless’

Terrence Howard’s Former Agents Dismiss His Allegations That He Was Underpaid On ‘Empire’ As ‘Utterly Meritless’

Recently, Terrence Howard took legal action against his former agency, CAA (Creative Artists Agency LLC), claiming a conflict of interest in the company’s management of his salary for the show

    “Empire,”

    as reported by Radaronline.com

Howard alleges that CAA failed to adequately advocate for him during his time on the popular FOX musical drama, as the agency also represented the show’s co-creators and production company. Furthermore, Howard claims that CAA provided him with misleading information about the salaries of his white colleagues, resulting in a lower rate for his work.

    His lawsuit reportedly stated,

“Not only did it become abundantly clear that his agents led him on a path to rely on information that was misleading, he discovered that this was the result of the fact that CAA was not acting in his best interest, but in the in the interest of their own financial benefit as well as the interest of the Production Companies and the producers, Daniels and Strong.”

In response to Terrence Howard’s allegations, CAA has now provided its perspective on the matter. According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline, the agency has strongly dismissed Howard’s claims as

    “utterly meritless.”

CAA has submitted a motion seeking the dismissal of Howard’s lawsuit, stating that

“Howard filed his Complaint … asserting claims for fraud and breach of fiduciary duty premised on CAA’s alleged role as a ‘packaging agent’ on the television show Empire in December 2023—over nine years after Howard admits that CAA explicitly told him it was acting as the show’s packaging agent, seven years after Howard admits he suspected the alleged injury of which he now complains (i.e., that he was not paid enough), and more than four years after the highly publicized Writers Guild of America’s packaging lawsuit was filed against CAA (and other agencies), which Howard quotes in his Complaint.”

  • Lawsuit Filed Against Angus Cloud’s Estate For Unsettled Debts, Including $4,000 Phone Bill From Verizon Wireless

Lawsuit Filed Against Angus Cloud’s Estate For Unsettled Debts, Including $4,000 Phone Bill From Verizon Wireless

The late actor Angus Cloud is facing financial trouble even after his passing, as creditors are now seeking payment from his estate.

According to court documents, various lenders claim that Cloud owed them thousands of dollars, prompting legal action to recover his outstanding debts. One of the companies involved is Verizon Wireless, which alleges that Cloud accumulated a total of $4,282.70 in purchases and goods before his untimely death last July.

Cloud’s mother, Lisa Cloud, who serves as the sole executor of his estate, received the suit from Verizon. Additionally, Cloud’s former manager, Diomi Cordero, has also filed a lawsuit against the estate, asserting that the actor owed him $94,770 in unpaid commission.

Cordero claims that Cloud violated their contract and stopped commission payments in 2022 without providing any explanation. In his suit, Cordero said that Cloud,

“[had] a record of making numerous commission payments to him until he ceased making such payments with no basis.”

Cordero states that he tried to resolve the issue with Cloud’s legal team, but they couldn’t agree. He insists that he played a significant role in getting Cloud lucrative deals with well-known brands like Ralph Lauren, Rayban, and Zara, and believes he should still receive his commission despite Cloud’s death. In addition, J.P. Morgan Chase sued Cloud’s estate in November for an unpaid credit card bill of $9,056.11. No updates have been reported regarding the outcome of these lawsuits.

Starbucks Fires Barista Working Through Paramedic School Who Heroically Subdued Robbers After Getting Pistol-Whipped

A Starbucks barista, Michael Harrison, was fired after he helped subdue two robbers who attacked him at his workplace in downtown St. Louis, per the NY Post.

Harrison was reportedly cooperative with the robbers until one of the criminals hit him in the head with his gun. A co-worker jumped in to defend Harrison, resulting in a brawl with other bystanders and the assailants.  The robbers were eventually apprehended by the police.

Harrison and his co-worker were placed on paid leave while Starbucks investigated the incident.

“I got a call a few weeks later,”

    Harrison said.

“Once the media died down. They told me they were terminating me. I was surprised. I was distraught. I was confused.”

According to Harrison’s attorney Ryan Krupp, the company informed both Harrison and his coworker that they had breached company policy, but did not provide specific details.

“We were deeply disturbed to learn of this frightening incident,”

a Starbucks spokesperson told The Post.

“Partner safety is at the core of how we operate in our stores, and we are so grateful that our partners and customers did not come to greater harm in this situation.”

    They went on to add,

“Our training and protocols guide our partners to comply and de-escalate, not just for their safety but for the safety of all in the store.”

Harrison no longer has an income and expressed that he is facing difficulties in covering his bills and tuition.

“That job was helping me pay for college,”

    he said.

“I just don’t understand it. I thought it was the right thing to do.”

Krupp says that they are currently preparing a lawsuit, which will be filed within the next few weeks.

“When the robbers came in, my client complied and tried to open the cash register when he was struck in the head by one of the gunman,”

    Krupp said.

“At that point you’re in a position to defend yourself.”

  • Former Nude Art Performer Files Lawsuit Against Museum of Modern Art For Negligence, Claiming That Staff Allowed Patrons To ‘Fondle’ His Genitals

Former Nude Art Performer Files Lawsuit Against Museum of Modern Art For Negligence, Claiming That Staff Allowed Patrons To ‘Fondle’ His Genitals

A former nude artist has filed a lawsuit against the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) alleging that the staff “turned a blind eye” to patrons groping his genitals during his performance at an exhibition, as reported by the NY Post. The plaintiff, John Bonafede, claims that his genitals were touched by five men on seven separate occasions at the 2010 exhibit titled

“Marina Abramovich: The Artist is Present”.

The lawsuit was filed in a Manhattan court on Monday.

In his role, Bonafede was tasked with reenacting one of Abramovich’s previous artworks. This involved standing still for 75 minutes, while maintaining eye contact with a woman in a similar pose, in a piece called

    “Imponderabilia.”

As part of the exhibition, visitors were encouraged to walk between the two performers to go into the next gallery.

However, according to the lawsuit obtained by The Post, Bonafede alleges that on seven separate occasions, he was

    “fondled and/or groped”

    by 5 different

    “older men.”

The lawsuit claims that the men would turn sideways, lower their hands, and

“linger for a moment before moving through into the next gallery room.”

The lawsuit also accuses a MOMA security guard of witnessing the assault but not intervening.

“We are well aware of the challenges posed by having nude performers in the galleries for this exhibition,”

the museum admitted in a statement to The Post.

“Any visitor who improperly touches or disturbs any of the performers is escorted from the museum by MoMA security.”

However, the lawsuit claims that MOMA did not tell visitors not to touch exhibits and refused to provide the identities of the alleged harassers to Bonafede. He filed a lawsuit under the New York Adult Survivors Act and is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The complaint deadline expired, but he was granted an extension.

  • New Lawsuit Alleges Floyd Mayweather Told His Bodyguard To Assault Man In Response To Being Fired

New Lawsuit Alleges Floyd Mayweather Told His Bodyguard To Assault Man In Response To Being Fired

Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather is facing a lawsuit for assault and battery. The lawsuit alleges that Mayweather, along with his business The Money Team LLC, and a restaurant, are responsible for injuries sustained by a man who was tackled by Mayweather’s bodyguard.

The plaintiff, Eduardo Andres Torres Martinez, claims that the incident occurred while he was dining at a Yard House in Los Angeles on February 10th, 2022, as reported by Jasmine Brand. As Mayweather and his entourage entered the restaurant, a commotion broke out as diners approached him for autographs and pictures. Martinez says he started recording the scene on his phone, which caught Mayweather’s attention.

Martinez says the boxer then gestured to his bodyguard to

    “handle”

him, resulting in a confrontation between him, the bodyguard, and a struggle to gain possession of his phone. According to reports, the plaintiff alleges in his lawsuit that the bodyguard,

“negligently, carelessly, intentionally, maliciously and/or physically touched, struck, and/or hit [Martinez] by striking”

Martinez is suing Mayweather and the restaurant’s security for assault and battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, as well as general negligence. He claims to have suffered severe physical and mental injuries, along with significant medical expenses.

Although he filed a police report against Mayweather, no charges were pursued due to a lack of evidence and conflicting witness statements. Mayweather denies any involvement in the incident, stating he left the crowded Yard House soon after arriving. The lawsuit’s monetary value remains undisclosed, and the case awaits a judge’s ruling.

Diddy Allegedly Cut From Yung Miami’s New Reality Show Amid Sexual Assault Lawsuits

Caresha Brownlee, famously known as Yung Miami, has a new reality show based on her life coming out on BET. However, it seems that Diddy will not be making any appearances on the show. The founder of Bad Boy Entertainment will continue to keep a low profile due to the ongoing sexual assault lawsuits against him.

As you may already know, Miami, 29, and Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, 54, have been

    “going together”

for a while now. Nevertheless, BET has chosen to exclude all the scenes from the show that highlight Diddy and their relationship, as reported by The Jasmine Brand.

Sources have revealed that Yung Miami had to create new content to fill the gaps left by the missing scenes.

Yung Miami had previously announced the new project at the 2023 VMA saying,

“I got a reality show coming out, the City Girls dropping an album, my podcast. Just everything.”

A date for the show has not been confirmed.

In November 2023, Diddy swiftly resolved a legal dispute with his ex-girlfriend and artist, Cassie, 37, who had accused him of severe abuse during their ten-year relationship. Shortly thereafter, Diddy faced additional lawsuits from several women alleging sexual assault incidents that allegedly occurred in the 90s and early 2000s. Diddy has vehemently denied all allegations, including those made by Cassie, whose full name is Casandra Ventura.

  • Texas Man Claims Walmart Mistook Him For Shoplifter, Demands $100 Million and A Lifetime Of Free Goods, Lawsuit Claims

Texas Man Claims Walmart Mistook Him For Shoplifter, Demands $100 Million and A Lifetime Of Free Goods, Lawsuit Claims

Roderick Jackson, a resident of Waskom, Texas, has filed a second lawsuit against Walmart for $100 million in compensation or unlimited free shopping at any Walmart store for the rest of his life, per the NY Post.

This recent complaint follows Jackson’s initial lawsuit, filed in 2021, which involved the same incident and circumstances as his current claim against the retail giant. The incident in question occurred at a Walmart store in Omaha, Nebraska, in March 2021. Jackson’s complaint states that he is suing Walmart due to

    “false pretense of shoplifting.”

    He also states he is

“sewing [sic] for Civil Rights violations based on race/color.”

Neither of the complaints went into further detail.

On top of the cash and shopping spree, Jackson is also demanding that Walmart foot the bill for all the legal fees tied to the lawsuit.

A Walmart spokesperson told Fox News Digital,

“We do not tolerate discrimination of any kind. Mr. Jackson’s allegations are almost identical to a lawsuit he filed against our company in 2021 that was dismissed. We intend to defend the company against the allegations once we have been properly served and will quickly ask the court to dismiss any claim that are without merit,”

In the 2021 lawsuit, Jackson filed a complaint against Walmart, accusing them of

    “racial profiling and wrongful accusation”

that resulted in his arrest. According to the complaint, Jackson suffered

“emotional stress and pain from the handcuffs.”

Initially, Jackson asked for a whopping $100 million and

“a significant credit for future shopping,”

but later revised the complaint to seek $175 million in damages. However, the case was dismissed that year as Walmart argued that Jackson had not properly served them and his claims were baseless.

  • Man Files $75 Million Lawsuit Against 27 Women Accusing Him Of Serial Ghosting On A Facebook Group

Man Files $75 Million Lawsuit Against 27 Women Accusing Him Of Serial Ghosting On A Facebook Group

A man from Chicago is taking legal action against multiple women who posted negative reviews on the

“Are We Dating The Same Guy”

    Facebook group, describing him as

    “clingy”

    and a serial

    “ghoster,”

    per the NY Post.

Nikko D’Ambrosio, 32, alleges that he suffered from defamation, doxxing, and invasion of privacy when his name and photo were shared in the Chicago edition of the Facebook group. D’Ambrosio is suing 27 women who have been specifically named, including the moderators of the group. Additionally, there are several unnamed individuals referred to as Jane Does, and various divisions of Facebook’s parent company, Meta, are also involved. He is seeking $75 million in damages as a result.

D’Ambrosio claims that he had a consensual sexual encounter with the woman who made the initial post after meeting at an event in Chicago. They went on a few

    “unremarkable”

dates but did not enter into an exclusive dating relationship. D’Ambrosio claims the woman told lies including that he got

    “very clingy very fast,”

    flaunted his money, and

“kept talking about how I don’t want to see his bad side, especially when he was on business calls.”

The complaint says that the woman initially shared the post under her real name but later deleted and reposted it anonymously after his lawyers reached out to her. Her post led to a barrage of comments from other women who claimed to have had similar experiences with him.

“The defendants broadcast their outrageous, cruel, and malicious lies about the plaintiff with knowledge that the statements were false or with reckless disregard as whether or not they were true,”

    the complaint states.

Toddler Suffers Permanent Disability After Choking On Candy Land Gummy Dot, Lawsuit Alleges

According to a recent lawsuit, a young child in California has suffered permanent disabilities as a result of choking on a Candy Land Gummy Dot, per Law & Crime. The toddler, named Amelie Parades Sotelo, was unable to speak, swallow, or move after the

    “sticky”

candy blocked her airway on December 13, 2022.

“These candies were a ticking time bomb. We will pursue justice for this innocent little girl who was once a vibrant and thriving child but is now permanently disabled, unable to speak, unable to swallow, and unable to move, for the rest of her life,”

said attorney Thomas Bosworth, who represents the girl and her family.

“It is shocking that this level of brain damage is caused by just one single piece of this dangerous gel candy.”

A lawsuit has been filed against Frankford Candy & Chocolate Co., Inc., Frankford Candy LLC, and Hasbro, Inc. The lawsuit accuses these companies of product liability, failure to warn, negligence, and causing emotional distress. The lawsuit, filed in Philadelphia on December 28, claims that a 3-year-old girl suffered irreversible brain damage and spastic quadriplegia after chewing on a single Frankford® Candy Land Gummy Dot, which was

    “negligently, recklessly, and defectively designed.”

The Frankford Candy Land Gummy Dots display is a colorful image of the popular children’s game, Candy Land. The

“Frankford Candy & Chocolate Co., Inc., Frankford Candy LLC, and Hasbro, Inc., intentionally designed, advertised, and marketed for the purpose of attracting children of all ages,”

however, they failed to provide safety or choking hazard warnings on the packaging, according to the lawsuit.

Medical personnel tried to suction and remove the candy from her airway, but it was

“extremely difficult due to the excessive stickiness of the product and its extraordinary lack of pliability,”

court documents said. She endured profound hypoxia due to a prolonged lack of oxygen. The lawsuit is asking for over $50,000 in compensation.

Dunkin’ Donuts Faces Lawsuit After Toilet Explodes On Customer Leaving Them Covered In ‘Human Feces and Urine’

Paul Kerouac has filed a lawsuit against Dunkin’ Donuts, claiming that a toilet at one of their Florida outlets exploded while he was using it, reports the NY Post

The incident occurred on January 6, 2022, and left Kerouac

    “traumatized”

and covered in waste. The lawsuit, filed in Florida’s 9th Judicial District, states that he was left

“covered with debris, including human feces and urine.”

“Following the explosion of the toilet plaintiff emerged from the men’s room and sought assistance from employees and managers of [the] defendant’s business to clean himself, as he remained covered with human feces and urine after emerging from the men’s room,”
