Lawsuit Filed Against Boston Public School After 9-Year-Old Girl Endures Repeated Rape and Assault On School Bus By Fellow Student

The family of a 9-year-old girl who was allegedly assaulted and raped multiple times by another student on a Boston school bus has filed a lawsuit against Boston Public Schools, reports Boston 25 News.

The lawsuit, which was filed by Morgan & Morgan in Suffolk Superior Court, also includes the City of Boston, Match Charter School, and a Transdev bus driver and monitor as defendants. According to the lawsuit, the girl, who is a student at Match Charter Public School in Hyde Park, endured repeated sexual assault and rape by an 11-year-old student over seven months during the 2022-2023 school year.

“The sexual assaults occurred on diverse dates over seven months and were committed by another 11-year-old student,”

    the lawsuit stated.

“The sexual assaults took place just a few feet from the bus monitor and the bus driver on the ride home after school from the Match Charter Public School.”

The lawyers at Morgan & Morgan say that the young girl had to leave school early out of fear of facing further physical or social consequences.

“Our client will experience a childhood haunted by trauma and flashbacks, and we will do everything in our power to hold the defendants accountable and prevent anything like this from happening to another child in our city.”

The lawsuit also alleges that the Transdev bus driver and monitor

“either knew, or reasonably should have known, of the repeated and ongoing sexual abuse,”

    and that they had a

“duty to identify, intervene, and take steps to end and report the abuse as well as to take reasonable steps to prevent it from reoccurring.”

The lawsuit further alleges that Transdev and/or its co-defendants

“negligently, recklessly, and/or intentionally lost or destroyed video footage”

    from the bus.

  • Chop’t Salad Chain Faces Lawsuit As Woman Alleges Consuming Human Finger In Arugula

Chop’t Salad Chain Faces Lawsuit As Woman Alleges Consuming Human Finger In Arugula

A woman from Greenwich, Connecticut is taking legal action against the fast-food salad chain, Chop’t, claiming that she discovered part of an employee’s severed finger in her meal, Insider reported.

Allison Cozzi visited a Chop’t location in Mt. Kisco, New York on April 7 when she realized she was

“chewing on a portion of a human finger”

that had been mixed into her salad, according to her complaint.

The complaint, filed on Monday in a Westchester County court, states that earlier that day, a manager at the store accidentally chopped off a piece of their finger while cutting arugula and left for the hospital. Shockingly, the contaminated arugula was then left on the service line and served to customers, as alleged in the lawsuit.

Cozzi alleges that the restaurant’s negligence resulted in her sustaining injuries, including,

“severe and serious personal injuries, including shock, panic attacks, migraine and the exacerbation of migraine, cognitive impairment, traumatic stress and anxiety, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, and neck and shoulder pain.”

According to the complaint, the Westchester County Department of Health has cited the restaurant for a health code violation. In September, the Chop’t location was fined $900 for not adhering to a code that mandates food establishments to operate in a way to

    “avoid imminent health hazards.”

This information was obtained from the complaint and publicly available records reviewed by Business Insider.

  • Tiffany Haddish’s Defamation Case Is Soon To Begin As Her One-Time Best Friend Gets Ready to Speak

Tiffany Haddish’s Defamation Case Is Soon To Begin As Her One-Time Best Friend Gets Ready to Speak

Tiffany Haddish, who was recently arrested for DUI, will face a defamation case by Trizah Morris soon. The comedian will go head to head with a former friend who intends to expose her.

Tiffany Haddish’s Defamation Case Is Between Her And Trizah Morris — The Origin

Trizah Morris, who was formerly close to Tiffany Haddish, wants to fight the actress to the end. The plaintiff claimed that the comedian slandered her name. The origin of this case began when Morris’ kids received a settlement from Haddish.

Back in September, there was a lawsuit involving Haddish, who was accused of grooming the two kids — a 14-year-old and a 7-year-old. The kids accused Haddish and podcaster Aries Spears of grooming and sexual assault in the name of rated R skits.

At the time, Spears thanked his fans for standing by him while slamming the accusers, calling it an extortion scheme. However, following the denial, the parties involved settled out of court.

Trizah Morris Goes For Tiffany Haddish

Two months after the out-of-court settlement, Morris believes Haddish still has a case to answer. She had pegged a defamation case on the actress explaining that Tiffany Haddish’s first remark affected her mental health. Recalling that before the settlement, Haddish claimed Morris’ accusations were for extortion purposes.

Before filing a legal suit, Morris contacted Haddish, asking her former friend to clear of any slander. However, the actress refused. Besides clearing her name, Morris wants to show the world how evil Haddish is. She said, per Black Enterprise:

“I plan on exposing how evil and desperate for fame Tiffany really is.”

Now, the comedian is getting ready to battle it out with Morris. Haddish has remained mute for now, but the case would be tried in an arbitration court.

  • Former Music Executive, Antonio ‘L.A.’ Reid, Faces Lawsuit For Alleged Sexual Assault and Career Sabotage

Former Music Executive, Antonio ‘L.A.’ Reid, Faces Lawsuit For Alleged Sexual Assault and Career Sabotage

Drew Dixon has filed a lawsuit against Grammy-winning music executive Antonio “L.A.” Reid, reports Fox News. Dixon claims that he sexually assaulted her on two occasions in 2001 and hindered her career when she rejected his ongoing advances.

The lawsuit was filed on Wednesday in a New York federal court. Dixon, who worked under Reid’s leadership when he served as the chief executive of Arista Records, alleges that Reid not only reduced her budget but also sidelined artists once she declined his continued harassment. Dixon left Arista in 2002 and asserts that her promising career in the music industry was abruptly halted due to Reid’s actions.

“This litigation is not only about the horrific physical assaults that Ms. Dixon had to endure but it is also about the irreparable damage done to the rare and blossoming career of an extraordinary talent,”

    the lawsuit said.

Dixon is seeking unspecified damages in her lawsuit against Reid. Dixon filed her lawsuit under New York state’s Adult Survivors Act, which was enacted last year. This law allows individuals who have experienced sexual abuse to sue within a one-year window, even if the original statute of limitations has expired. The deadline for filing under this act is November 24th.

In 2017, Reid stepped down as CEO of Epic Records following allegations of sexual harassment made by a former female assistant. Reid told The New York Times at the time,

“I’m proud of my track record promoting, supporting, and uplifting women at every company I’ve ever run. That notwithstanding, if I have ever said anything capable of being misinterpreted, I apologize unreservedly.”

  • Bill Cosby Forced to Liquidate Assets and Sell Off Artworks To Battle Civil Lawsuits

Bill Cosby Forced to Liquidate Assets and Sell Off Artworks To Battle Civil Lawsuits

According to RadarOnline.com, Bill Cosby and his wife, Camille Cosby, are in a financial bind. It has been revealed that their money problems have become even more serious, leading them to

    “liquidate assets’,

    “take out second mortgages,”

    And

    “sell off artwork.”

A source has disclosed that the couple is in a

    “rocky place financially”

Due to the numerous lawsuits faced by the 86-year-old Bill Cosby Show actor. Cosby’s legal troubles have caused

    “major issues”

For the couple, and it appears that the lawsuits against him by women in several states, targeting the man once referred to as

    “America’s Dad,”

    Show no signs of ending.

“They are currently in financial turmoil,”

Alleged a source, adding that Camille, Cosby’s wife, was unwilling to make lifestyle changes to alleviate their woes.

The actor’s struggle continues to make headlines, particularly after owing almost $650k for the 2019 and 2020 tax years.

Cosby, whose net worth was once estimated at $400 million, has been hit with two tax liens, each amounting to $88,566.88 and $559,573.77. Additionally, Cosby was ordered to pay $500k in damages last year to Judy Huth, following confirmation by a California civil jury that she was assaulted by the comic at the Playboy Mansion in 1975 when she was merely 16.

Having served three years in a Pennsylvania prison for sexually assaulting Temple University executive Andrea Constand in 2004, Cosby was released from jail in June 2021 on a technicality.

Despite his release from prison in June 2021 on a technicality, Cosby’s attempts to return to the spotlight have been met with obstacles. His plans to perform stand-up shows during the spring and summer have seemingly come to a standstill, as comedy clubs appear reluctant to book the convicted predator.

  • Kim Zolciak’s Husband Kroy Biermann Slammed With Debt Lawsuit

Kim Zolciak’s Husband Kroy Biermann Slammed With Debt Lawsuit

Kroy Biermann’s debt lawsuit has nothing to do with his wedding anniversary with Kim Zolciak, but it appears the former NFL star isn’t too worried. Days before celebrating twelve years of togetherness with his wife, he was slammed with a lawsuit from Discovery Bank. See how the story unfolds.

The Beginning of Kroy Biermann’s Debt Lawsuit From Discovery Bank

In July, Kroy Biermann was dragged to court over a debt lawsuit from Discover Bank. The institution claimed that Biermann had refused to pay up despite racking up debts on his credit card.

According to the court documents, Radar Online reports that Biermann’s debt included fees he paid for Xbox game purchases and Uber Eats. The bank wants him to pay back $11, 275.

Kim Zolciak & Kroy Biermann have had More Extreme Financial woes

While families were still settling into the new year, Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann were figuring out how to deal with the IRS. The duo had incurred debt running into millions. IRS accused them of tax evasion that had padded to about $1.1 million. This was a debt record they created between 2013 and 2018.

While trying to figure a way out, Biermann gave up his 2020 Rolls-Royce after he defaulted on payment. The couple were also ordered to pay $230,000 to a bank.

Apart from the string of embarrassment, the couple’s debt crisis had nearly caused them to lose their home. It was reported that a bank disclosed the location of their home. However, they have been able to reach out to a judge, begging for more time.

Zolciak agreed that their late payment would be sorted once their home was sold, but she requested more time. The onscreen star proved her point by bringing her children into it. She asked the court to take pity on their kids, who need all the stability they can get.

Despite the ongoing back and forth, Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann’s marriage is said to be heading for the rocks. But somehow, they were able to enjoy their recent anniversary with a luxury celebration.

  • Lawsuit Filed Against Funeral Home For Allegedly Providing Families With Fake Ashes

Lawsuit Filed Against Funeral Home For Allegedly Providing Families With Fake Ashes

A man has taken legal action against a funeral home, accusing them of providing families with fake ashes, while the real remains of their loved ones were left to decay in the building, reports Law and Crime

“In death, these men and women deserved to be treated with respect and dignity,”

plaintiff attorney Andrew Swan said per the Associated Press.

    “Instead, they were defiled.”

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation has discovered that there are at least 189 deceased individuals inappropriately stored at a building owned by Return to Nature. As they continue their investigation and make efforts to identify the victims, the number of deceased individuals may vary.

Richard Law filed a lawsuit against a funeral home owned by Jon and Carie Hallford. He had entrusted his father, Roger Law, to the funeral home for cremation in 2020. The funeral home gave Richard what they claimed to be Roger’s ashes. However, it is now alleged that Roger’s body was among the bodies discovered in the funeral home building.

The lawsuit is a class action, and other families have come forward expressing doubts about the ashes they received from the funeral home too.

“It looked very, very similar, the consistency and everything,”

one of the relatives, Tanya Wilson told KDRO.

“Then when it dried, it dried into little tiny rocks, very, very similar. It gave me confirmation that I believe it’s concrete.”

Richard Law handed over the supposed ashes to the FBI who are authenticating the substance.

  • Woman Files Lawsuit Against Ritz-Carlton, Claiming She Unknowingly Consumed ‘Semen-Contaminated’ Water During Hotel Stay

Woman Files Lawsuit Against Ritz-Carlton, Claiming She Unknowingly Consumed ‘Semen-Contaminated’ Water During Hotel Stay

A couple is claiming that their stay at the Ritz-Carlton in Half Moon Bay turned into a nightmare when the woman unknowingly drank water contaminated with semen, reports Insider

The incident allegedly occurred last November and the lawsuit was recently filed in October, reported by the Mercury News. The victims, identified as John and Jane Doe, checked into the California hotel for a four-night stay.

According to the lawsuit, the couple ordered water bottles from the front desk after dinner. Jane Doe placed one on her bedside table and consumed it later that night.

“She opened it, took a drink, and knew immediately that something was wrong with the liquid she had just swallowed,”

the lawsuit states. The water was returned to the hotel security and management representatives who were asked, by the husband, to contact authorities.

“The Ritz-Carlton subsequently sent the water bottle to a laboratory for analysis, and the testing confirmed that the water contained semen,”

    the lawsuit says.

The suit claims that the Ritz-Carlton refuses to give the water or the test results to law enforcement and

“will not disclose the identities of the hotel employees on duty that day so that their backgrounds and criminal histories can be scrutinized.”

The couple is seeking a jury trial, alleging sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence, and loss of consortium.

Woman Sues Chick-fil-A For Giving Her ‘Black’ Chicken Nugget Meat, Says She Now Has ‘Unrelenting Abdominal Pain’

This week a lawsuit has been filed against Chick-fil-A by a woman from Orlando after she accused the establishment of selling her

    “black meat”,

reports Fox 35. Court records documented that the woman says she ate the chicken nugget, which contained

    “black meat.”

The suit was filed on Thursday by Shi’Terra Sharp in Orange County in connection to the encounter that occurred back in Jan. 2020. This caused her to become sick with cramps, diarrhea, and nausea. The suit added that she also suffered injuries to her digestive system, mouth, and throat. She went on to allege that she

“underwent great pain and suffering for some time.”

In addition to that, Sharp reported that she was later

    “constant unrelenting abdominal pain”

    as well as hospital bills.
