This week a lawsuit has been filed against Chick-fil-A by a woman from Orlando after she accused the establishment of selling her
“black meat”,
reports Fox 35. Court records documented that the woman says she ate the chicken nugget, which contained
“black meat.”
The suit was filed on Thursday by Shi’Terra Sharp in Orange County in connection to the encounter that occurred back in Jan. 2020. The woman says she purchased chicken nuggets from a Chick-fil-A fast-food chain in Brooksville and proceeded to eat her meal at home. She said as she ate the nuggets, the meat was
“black,”
alleges the lawsuit.
This caused her to become sick with cramps, diarrhea, and nausea. The suit added that she also suffered injuries to her digestive system, mouth, and throat. She went on to allege that she
“underwent great pain and suffering for some time.”
In addition to that, Sharp reported that she was later
“diagnosed with gastrointestinal illnesses.”
The woman says the fast-food restaurant failed to properly check the food, per the suit. She’s requesting $50,000 in addition to court fees to assist in paying for medicine for the
“constant unrelenting abdominal pain”
as well as hospital bills.
