    Saquon Barkley and President Donald Trump played golf on Sunday in New Jersey. Eyewitnesses spotted him getting off Marine One at Morristown Municipal Airport before he and the President returned to Washington, D.C. However, what the duo likely considered an innocent game quickly developed into a bad situation. Barkley’s action was greeted with great backlash, as many considered him a traitor for playing with Trump.

    Following the heavy backlash, the Philadelphia Eagles running back responded on social media on Monday to explain why. Saquon Barkley claimed that he and Donald Trump had a complimentary game just as he did with former President Barack Obama.

    “Some people are really upset cause I played golfed [sic] and flew to the White House with the PRESIDENT,” Barkley wrote on his social media account. “Maybe I just respect the office, not a hard concept to understand. Just golfed with Obama not too long ago…and look forward to finishing my round with Trump ! Now ya get out my mentions with all this politics and have amazing day.”

    The White House Shares Saquon Barkley’s Post

    The White House’s official X account shared a screenshot of the NFL star’s response to the backlash shortly after the post went up. The account also attached a picture of Saquon Barkley and Donald Trump inside the Oval Office. Meanwhile, the President told reporters on Sunday, April 27, that the running back was a “nice guy,” per CBS News.

    He added that he “wanted to race him” but decided not to. Instead, they settled on a game of golf. Saquon Barkley and President Donald Trump also took a few pictures with a child in the White House Rose Garden.

    Fans Compare Saquon Barkley and Jalen Hurts

    Saquon Barkley and Donald Trump met a day before the Eagles visited the White House on April 28. The White House invited the team after their victory at the 2025 Super Bowl. Although there were rumors that the Philadelphia Eagles turned down the invite, the press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, dispelled them. The Eagles had previously canceled a visit after their first Super Bowl victory in 2018. Meanwhile, the chairman and CEO, Jeffrey Lurie, said the visit was optional for players.

    Jalen Hurts made news when he revealed he wouldn’t join those on the visit. This led many to compare him to Saquon Barkley, as they felt he acted right between the pair. The White House claimed the Super Bowl LIX MVP wouldn’t attend due to “scheduling conflicts.” However, fans opined that Hurt stepped back for a different reason. As seen in a TikTok video, the NFL fan awkwardly skirted around his response after a reporter asked him if he would attend the official visit.

    In a screenshot Onsite obtained, a fan said, “…Today I encourage you to be a Jalen Hurts, not a Saquon Barkley!” Meanwhile, other fans pointed out that Saquon Barkley and Donald Trump’s game follows a recognizable pattern. They accused the athlete of condoning racism by getting engaged to Anna Congdon, who has faced backlash over her old racist tweets. Someone wrote, “You been showed your true colors when you married who you married lmao.” Another wrote, “Doesn’t your wife say the N word and she not black?”

    Fans are not happy about Saquon Barkley and President Donald Trump’s game. However, given Barkley’s response to the backlash, the running back doesn’t appear too disturbed.

    Former NFL Player Robert Quinn Arrested Following Crash In North Charleston

    An ex-NFL player, Robert Quinn, who played for teams like the Philadelphia Eagles, was apprehended early Friday after a multi-vehicle crash in North Charleston. North Charleston Police officers arrived at B & N Auto Service on Dorchester Road at approximately 2 a.m. following the incident, according to WCBD. 

    A report from NCPD indicated that firefighters informed officials that the suspect, identified as Quinn, tried to flee in another car. When officers arrived, they discovered a white Dodge Challenger in reverse. The driver explained that Quinn, her passenger, had called her for a ride. Quinn, sitting in the front seat, had noticeable head and hand injuries as he was also bleeding. He was resisting and slurred his speech, as noted in the incident report.

    Reports indicated that Quinn was at a nightclub approximately an hour prior to the crash. Amid the crash investigation, officers checked city cameras, which showed Quinn’s vehicle on Dorchester Road around 2 a.m. It crossed an intersection, a median, and entered a property where the crash occurred. The report states that Quinn’s vehicle hit the passenger side of a Honda Element, pushed it into a blue Ford F-150, and then collided with a purple Chrysler 300.

    Quinn was apprehended for leaving the scene of a crash with property damage and reckless driving. Back in Aug. 2023, he was also arrested on charges related to multiple hit-and-run incidents in the Summerville area.

Recently, rapper Wack 100 took things to new heights when he accused Drake of planning to sabotage Lamar’s upcoming Super Bowl performance.

    On Sunday, Wack 100 made the headlines when he made a shocking claim about Drake. During a streaming session, the music manager alleged that Drake was using legal means to try to interrupt Kendrick Lamar’s upcoming Super Bowl Performance. The rapper boldly claimed per HipHopDX:

    “He’s trying to get the NFL to restrict Kendrick.”

    Wack 100 further claimed that Drake issued a cease and desist to Lamar over the diss track Not Like Us. According to Wack 100, the move was to prevent the 37-year-old from performing the track at the show. However, the rapper revealed Drake’s alleged plan would not hold up due to Jay-Z’s involvement with the NFL. He said:

    “As long as Jay-Z got something to do with it, it ain’t.”

    NFL Announces Kendrick Lamar as 2025 Super Bowl Halftime Show Headliner

    Wack 100’s claims came over a few weeks after the NFL announced Lamar would headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show on February 9, 2025. While the big announcement left fans excited, it sparked a debate online. Many believed Lamar was firing more shots at Drake, all thanks to the announcement video. The clip showed Lamar standing before an American flag on a football pitch, firing off passes to an unseen receiver. Lamar said:

    “Rap music is still the most impactful genre to date. And I’ll be there to remind the world why. They got the right one.”

    Besides the Drake and Lamar drama, some fans argued that Lil Wayne should have headlined the show instead. According to them, it was only right given that the Super Bowl would happen in Lil Wayne’s hometown. Many rappers agreed, sharing their opinions about the NFL choosing Larmar. Drake was not left out! Taking to his Instagram stories on September 10, the 6 God showed support by sharing several throwback pictures of Lil Wayne. He posted a picture of Lil Wayne from his iconic “A Milli” video and photos of young Wayne holding a flip phone and gambling.

    A few days later, Nicki Minaj joined in the online debate. In an explosive social media rant, the rapper criticized Jay-Z, who has helped organize the halftime show since 2020. Nicki Minaj codedly accused the Roc Nation boss of denying Lil Wayne a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity due to personal grievances.     Rookie NFL Player K*lled In Horrific Car Crash With Two Friends

    Minnesota Vikings cornerback Khyree Jackson, 24, tragically lost his life in a car crash early Saturday morning that also claimed the life of his two friends.

    TMZ got hold of gruesome crash scene photos of a flattened Dodge Charger vehicle that Jackson was riding in along with Isaiah Hazel, 23 and Anthony Lytton Jr. 24, who also died in the crash on July 6.

    The men were all friends and former players from Wise High School. 

    Shoes from the victims were also seen scattered on the road along with other personal belongings, the outlet reports.

    Cori Clingman, a 23-year-old Maryland woman was driving a silver Infiniti before she clipped the charger and a Chevy Impala. Clingman was reportedly speeding and when she tried to change lanes northbound Route 4 in Prince George’s County, she hit the vehicles, causing the major collision.

    Clingman’s car barely had a scratch, according to reports. The other victims from the Impala survived as well as Clingman.

    The woman also reportedly had a history of speeding. She has not been charged yet.

    “The Mom Game Podcast,”

    she shared that being the mother of a highly successful three-time Super Bowl champion like Patrick Mahomes can be overwhelming, to the point where she cries sometimes.

    “As much as I say that we’re blessed and Patrick’s living his dream, it has been the hardest seven years of my adult life.”

    “It’s been really hard to juggle … I’ve cried a lot. I’ve struggled with it.”

    She admitted to being

    “jealous”

    of her friends who lead a more ordinary lifestyle.

    “We just want to be normal and go and have dinner and we don’t do that,”

    she explained.

    “My daughter [Mia] and I, living in our town, we rarely go.”

    Randi, who is 48 years old, is the mother of two sons, Patrick, 28, and Jackson, 24, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Pat Mahomes. She currently resides in Texas with her 12-year-old daughter, Mia, from a previous relationship. Randi, who works as an event planner, discussed how her professional life has been impacted by her son Patrick’s fame. She revealed that numerous people have attempted to contact their family through her phone number and email. 

    While adjusting to Patrick’s fame since he joined the NFL in 2017 has been challenging for the family, Randi emphasized that she tries her best not to allow her stress to affect her children.

    “[Patrick is] working his tail off every day … doing what he needs to do and has his family and kids,”

    she stated. For those who are unaware, Patrick Mahomes is the quarterback of the Kansas City Chiefs and shares a son and a daughter with his wife Brittany Mahomes. 

    During the podcast, Randi also mentioned the challenges Jackson has faced while being in the public eye. In May of last year, Jackson was arrested and charged with aggravated sexual battery following an incident involving the owner of a restaurant and lounge in Kansas called Aspens. Jackson pleaded no contest to a simple battery charge and received a six-month probation sentence in March.

    “I’ve cried myself to sleep reading some of the things that I know that my kids see,”

    the mother of three expressed.

    In a recent development, it has come to light that the boyfriend of Earl Thomas’ ex-wife, Nina Thomas, apprehended arrested for reportedly stealing Earl Thomas’ identity in a scam worth $1.9 million, reports the New York Post. The arrest took place in June by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office in New Orleans, cops told Nola.com. The accused, Kevin J. Thompson, is believed to have cashed Thomas’ NFL checks,

    “stealing from his bank account,”

    and

    “transferring ownership of several vehicles.”

    Reports suggest that Thompson is facing multiple charges, including

    “identity theft, forgery, money laundering, credit card fraud, computer fraud, and bank fraud.” 

    Earl Thomas, a renowned former NFL player, had an illustrious career as a member of the Seattle Seahawks’. If you’re unaware, his career spanned from 2010 to 2019. 

    Thompson reportedly created a fake bank account using a forged driver’s license containing his own photo but Earl Thomas’ information.

    He then proceeded to transfer ownership of various vehicles, including a Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV, which he drove to the bank on the day of he was apprehended. It’s uncertain how he was able to gain access to the vehicles.

    The suspicious activities were initially detected by Thomas’ credit union in Texas, which alerted authorities about the fraudulent account opened at the New Orleans bank, Jefferson Financial. Thompson was arrested again when he tried to

    “retrieve the Rolls-Royce on June 16 using another car that was previously reported stolen.”

    Currently, he is out on $730,000 bond. 

    Federal investigators are also involved in the case alongside local authorities. Earl Thomas and Nina Thomas filed for divorce back in 2020 and were involved in a heated incident on Christmas Eve of the same year, where both individuals displayed weapons during verbal disagreement in a parking lot.

    The son of former NFL player Antonio Armstrong Sr. has been sentenced to life in prison. According to PEOPLE, the 23-year-old has been found guilty of the 2016 murder of his mother and father.

    Additionally, the 23-year-old’s conviction in the murder case follows two previous mistrials, reportedly due to hung juries, as per New York Post.

    According to New York Post, Antonio Armstrong Jr. was sentenced to life in prison on Wednesday. Additionally, the 23-year-old has the possibility of being granted parole after 40 years.

    On Wednesday, Armstrong Jr. was also found guilty of the capital murder of his parents, Antonio Armstrong Sr. and Dawn Armstrong, in 2016. A Texas grand jury reportedly heard “more than 40 hours of testimony” from more than “31 witnesses” over the 11-day trial.

    After over ten hours of deliberations, the group reportedly came to their verdict.

    The outlet adds that Armstrong Jr. “showed no emotion” as he was read his fate.

    According to the outlet, Armstrong Jr. allegedly fatally shot his parents while they were asleep in their Houston home on July 29, 2016. At the time, he was 16 years old.

    Additionally, prosecutors allege that Armstrong Jr. placed a pillow over their heads. Then he called 911 to report having heard gunshots.

    Furthermore, a note was left on the family’s kitchen counter along with the “.22-caliber pistol” used in the crime.

    The outlet adds that Armstrong Jr.’s defense team plans to appeal the verdict.
