Teacher Who Was Arrested For Having Sex With 12-Year-Old Student Claims She’s Pregnant, Says ‘I’m Going To Have This Baby’

A teacher from Tennessee who was charged with having an inappropriate relationship with her then 12-year-old student reportedly informed the victim that she’s pregnant with his baby and planned to keep the child, reports the New York Post. Alissa McCommon, 38, was previously apprehended last month for communicating with the victim through texts and phone calls, leading to her bond being revoked. Recordings played in court revealed her intentions to raise the alleged child.

In a separate text message, McCommon hinted at the serious matter she needed to discuss with the victim.

She revealed on a recording that was played in court on Tuesday,

“I’m going to raise this baby. I can do this.”

It is not yet confirmed whether she is pregnant or if the victim is the potential father. However, reports added that McCommon previously told the victim he would

    “regret”

informing officials about their inappropriate relationship.

In addition to prior rape charges, McCommon now faces accusations of stalking, harassment, and coercion.

Further investigation revealed that McCommon had engaged in sexual activities with the 12-year-old since 2021 and had also exchanged sexual messages with other students. Initially, she was released on a $25,000 bond but her release was rescinded when she violated court restrictions by contacting at least one victim. McCommon used an unknown number to reach out to the boy, attempting to evade the court’s limitations. In one text, she admitted to a sexual encounter with the victim.
