Teacher Arrested After Allegedly Sending Pornography To A 9-Year-Old Boy, Reports Say

Fayette County Detention Center

A teacher from Kentucky, Kevin Lentz, has been apprehended and charged with

“ten counts of distribution of obscene matter to a minor and seven counts of use of a minor under 16 in a sexual performance,”

Fox reports. Additionally, he was charged with

“six counts of tampering with physical evidence.”

The 49-year-old was employed as an English teacher at Henry Clay High School. He was later placed on leave following his arrest. According to the Lexington Herald-Leader, a police citation claims that Lentz forced a 9-year-old boy to send photos of his private area in July. Lentz also reportedly sent the young boy adult pornography.

The citation obtained by the news outlet also claimed that the teacher forced the boy to delete the photos so that his parents wouldn’t become aware. Lentz was taken to the Fayette County Detention Center. Reports added that he’s being held on a $50,000 bond.

The Lexington Police Department informed Fox Digital,

“Detectives from the Special Victims Section are continuing to investigate and no additional information is available at this time.”
