Woman Arrested After Tracking Down Her Stolen Vehicle and Fatally Shooting Two Men Who Allegedly Stole Her Car, Reports Say

St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department

A Missouri woman, Demesha Coleman, has been apprehended after tracking down her stolen vehicle and murdering two men outside of a gas station for allegedly stealing her car, reports Fox. The 35-year-old woman was charged with several counts including a count of assault and three counts of armed criminal action following the fatal shooting of 49-year-old Joseph Farrar and 19-year-old Darius Jackson.

Officials discovered the 49-year-old next to a gas pump as he had a gunshot wound in his torso, while the 19-year-old also suffered from a gunshot wound to the torso as he laid beside the vehicle. Another man was also shot in the head; however, he survived, reports the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. It’s unclear, which of the men, or if any of them actually stole the car.

On Wednesday evening, the woman approached a Hyundai Tucson at a St. Louis gas station with a man who carried a weapon, officials said after looking through surveillance footage. Coleman then opened the door of the vehicle with a gun and began to shoot. She informed officials that she went to the location to retrieve her vehicle that was stolen. Reports added that prior to this incident, she had no criminal record.
