Amanda Bynes did not wait too long before discussing the cosmetic surgery performed on her eyelids. The former child star said she had heard rumours and wanted to set the record straight on purpose.
Bynes admitted that she had kept the entire thing under the radar before, before adding:

“I actually had blepharoplasty surgery on the skin folds in the corners of my eyes.”

Bynes assured fans that the surgery was not on impulse. Rather, it was a conscious decision for her self-pride. She shared:

“It was one of the best things I could have done for my self-confidence, and it made me feel a lot better in my skin.”

A few days before the admission, several blog posts showed Bynes’ new look, and it was not her eyes. The actress was captured rocking blonde hair. In the Instagram post, the Nickelodeon star confirmed that she had changed her hair colour. However, she blasted the paparazzi for taking an ugly photo of herself with poor lighting.

Long before opening up about her eyelids cosmetic surgery, Bynes had proved to be conscious about her features. Back in 2013, her parents requested the court to grant them conservatorship. They cited her incessant appeal for surgery. As reported by Page Six, she even persuaded her mom to go under the knife.

Bynes’ parents had their request granted, but that did not stop their daughter from proceeding with surgery. In 2022, she was free again but was soon snatched by the claws of the child star curse.

Bynes, who has been unable to redeem her career, was spotted patrolling naked in Los Angeles. She soon checked in and out of a mental institution. These days, there have been no episodes from the actress. However, the “Hairspray” actress has mentioned debuting a podcast with a friend she met while engaging in treatment.
