Even as a celebrity living how she pleases, Ariana proved that she is every bit human as she detailed the events of her challenging year. The Wicked star began by sharing with her over 300 million Instagram fans the high points of her year.

In her words, 2023 was “one of the most transformative, most challenging, and yet happiest and most special years of my life. There were so many beautiful and yet polarized feelings.”

According to the Grammy winner, the year blessed her with lessons and fulfillment, particularly in her field. The former Nickelodeon star, who worked on numerous projects, including the onscreen production Wicked, felt overwhelmed. She added:

“I gave everything I could have possibly given of my heart and of myself to the projects I was fortunate enough to be a part of and learned so much from every brilliant, beautiful, soul that I had the privilege of creating art with and crossing paths with this near.”

Once she talked about the highs, Ariana told fans what made the year somewhat challenging. The actress began a new romance with Ethan Slater before her divorce from Dalton Gomez was finalized in October. Her new romance was the talk of the town, and many passed judgmental comments.
