Growing up in an environment that liked businesses, art, and a vibrant way of life due to her cool jazz musician daddy, Jamaiel Shabaka Akua, brings something special to House of Aama.

    This mom-and-daughter team has joined together their interests to set up a great black-owned business. It represents the spirit of where they come from.
