Bronny James, the 18yr old son of NBA superstar LeBron James, suffered a cardiac arrest during a practice with the USC Trojans on Monday, July 25, 2023. He was taken to the hospital and is currently in stable condition.
The James’ family released a statement on Monday evening, saying that he is
“doing well”
and that he is
“expected to make a full recovery.”
The statement also thanked the medical staff at USC for their
“quick and decisive actions.”
LeBron James took to Twitter on Monday night to share his thoughts on his son’s condition. He said that Bronny is
“doing great”
and that he is
“thankful for the prayers and support.”
USC basketball team cancels practice. The USC Trojans canceled their scheduled practice on Monday night in light of Bronny James’ cardiac arrest. The team said that they are
“praying for Bronny”
and that they are
“committed to his recovery.”
