However, Taylor has pushed back against the petition. She said her ex-husband lied and requested the court to dismiss his petition. This move comes almost a year after the former couple finalized their divorce and moved on.

    Taylor is not having any of Iman Shumpert’s response to their divorce and has asked the court for support. The actress responded to her ex-husband’s petition, which he recently filed, accusing her of misconduct. She officially responded on May 14, denying the former NBA player’s allegations in court documents In Touch obtained. Taylor refuted Shumpert’s claims that she violated the terms of their divorce agreement, delivered in a sealed judgment.

    She also denied the allegations that she removed their children from school without good reason or interfered with his parenting time. She”categorically denied causing any loss of income or damage to [Shumpert’s] professional reputation.” Teyana Taylor said Iman Shumpert’s claims were unfounded and asked the court to dismiss his petition. She pleaded that she not be held in contempt. The singer also insisted that she has only acted within her legal rights as a co-parent and public figure.

    Iman Shumpert Files Case Against Teyana Taylor

    Taylor and Shumpert resumed their legal battle earlier this month. Shumpert threw the first stone when he filed a motion claiming Taylor violated the terms of their divorce agreement. He asked that she be held in contempt of court, alleging that Taylor “willfully and contemptuously” exposed private details of their divorce.

    In the petition, he claimed Taylor “willfully and contemptuously exposed and broadcast specific provisions of the final judgment decree of divorce and related provisions, recklessly disregarding the financial circumstances, privacy, safety, and security of the parties and their minor children.”

    He asked the court to consider criminal contempt charges against his ex-wife. This puts Taylor at risk of 20 days in jail. Iman Shumpert also had more accusations against Teyana Taylor as he added racist bias and conduct in his motion. The former Knicks player alleged that the actress “shouted crude and inflammatory racial insults at [Iman]” in the presence of their kids. He claimed this caused them “stress” and placed them in the “self-imposed position of peacemaker between the parents.”

    Teyana Taylor And Iman Shumpert’s Relationship And Divorce

    Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert first met at a party in 2011 but remained friends until 2013. Shumpert popped the question at their baby shower two years later in Cleveland, Ohio. The former couple said their vows a year later and share two daughters, Junie and Rue Rose. Teyana Taylor filed for divorce in January 2023, but only announced her and Iman Shumpert’s separation in September. The actress and her ex finalized their divorce in 2024.

    The next hearing for Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert’s case has not been scheduled. It remains for the court to decide whether Taylor will be found in contempt of court.

    Prosecutors have alleged that Diddy was preparing for a last freakoff before his arrest at the Park Hyatt Hotel. Authorities nabbed the music producer at the Manhattan hotel in September 2024. They showed the jurors pictures of Diddy’s tools on Friday as Cassie Ventura rounded off her four-day testimony. Prosecutors claimed the rapper prepared for the sexual orgies despite knowing he was about to be arrested. Diddy had also agreed to surrender to authorities but was preparing for a freakoff instead.

    Homeland Security Investigations Special Agent Yasin Binda testified in court that the drugs and kits found were for a freakoff. Investigators found bottles of baby oil, mood lighting, and pills in pill bottles with the alias Frank Black. They also found mysterious pink powder in small bags, which was possibly cocaine and a prescription for Klonopin. Additionally, they found stacks of cash and a light heater. Prosecutors claimed that some of the drugs tested positive for MDMA and ketamine.

    The pictures matched Cassie’s claim that Diddy always wanted his freakoffs organized in a certain way. She narrated how Diddy always wanted her to heat the baby oil before each episode. The music mogul also demanded that candles with pungent smells be lit at all times. The scent would then mix with oil and the other scents in the room.

    Diddy’s Attorneys Defend The Freakoffs

    It seems like Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs can’t catch a break as the well-known producer is now being accused of making threats against New York radio personality Miss Jones.

    Diddy’s legal team insists that their client did nothing wrong. They denied prosecutors’ claims that the Bad Boy Entertainment founder used the drugs to compel unwilling individuals to participate. Diddy’s team noted that the drugs were for his “personal use,” although willing participants also used them. Thus, the drug-fueled sexual orgies were consensual. His lawyers acknowledged that the freakoffs were “kinky” but claimed they don’t warrant sex trafficking charges.

    In his opening statements last week, Diddy’s lead lawyer, Teny Geragos, said, “Sean Combs is a complicated man, but this is not a complicated case. This case is about love, jealousy, infidelity, and money.”

    Diddy has pleaded not guilty in his sex trafficking trial. Meanwhile, Cassie recounted the numerous occasions where her ex-boyfriend beat her up. She also shared pictures of injuries she acquired whenever Diddy got violent. In one of the pictures, she had a swollen upper lip, and in another, she had a cut on her eye. Cassie said Diddy’s security personnel took her to a plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills to get the wound stitched up. She texted Diddy a photo of her injured face and wrote:

    “So you can remember.” However, Diddy was unempathetic and replied, per the Daily Mail, “You don’t know when to stop. You pushed it too far. And continued to push. Sad.” However, she never reported him to the police.

    Diddy’s sex trafficking trial so far has largely revolved around his freakoffs. Meanwhile, several high-profile names have been dropped in the trial. The public is closely monitoring the case as it progresses daily.

Just before Natalia went online, Lozada shared documents online containing details of Christian Gold owing child support. The Basketball Wives stars’ feud intensified after Williams shared a photo of Lozada’s ex-fiance, Lavon Lewis, with Christian Gold. She congratulated Lewis on his marriage and added the hashtag “#dodegedabullet.”

    Lozada didn’t hesitate to fire back and shared court documents showing that Jennifer Williams’ husband owed months in child support. She said:

    In a press conference on Wednesday, May 21, alongside South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, Trump remarked, “The farmers are not Black. I’m not saying that’s good or bad, but the farmers are not Black. The people are being killed in large numbers, and you saw all of those gravesites.” 

    To support his claims, Trump shared reports alleging violence throughout the country. However, it turned out that the photos he used were not from South Africa at all. Trump displayed a printout from the website American Thinker, which allegedly supported his assertions. However, the blog post contained a screenshot from a YouTube video showing a response by Red Cross workers to incidents of mass rape and murder specifically in Goma, located in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, not South Africa.

    During the widely publicized meeting, President Ramaphosa acknowledged, “There is criminality in our country. People who do get killed, unfortunately, through criminal activity, are not only white people — the majority of them are Black people,” he noted while also highlighting the broader context of crime within his nation. 

    “One of the most embarrassing moments for Americans was when Donald Trump pulled out a picture from the Congo and claimed it was a burial site for victims of his imaginary ‘white genocide’ in South Africa,” said one X user.

    Tory Lanez is currently serving a 10-year sentence for shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the foot in July 2020. At first, Megan claimed no one shot her. However, following an investigation into the incident, she disclosed that Lanez fired the gun. Lanez’s legal team has been fighting the conviction and sentencing. Last week, they revealed new evidence to prove his innocence. A bodyguard to Megan Thee Stallion’s former best friend, Kelsey Harris, claimed she fired the gun and not Tory Lanez.

    This, plus a stabbing incident at California Correctional Institution in Tehachapi, enraged his fans, who now demand his release. Megan Thee Stallion took to TikTok afterward to ask Tory Lanez and his fans to leave her alone. The rapper, who got a five-year restraining order against Lanez for defaming and inciting hatred against her, asked:

    “At what point are yall gonna stop making me have to re live being shot BY TORY !? At what point are Tory and yall FANS gonna stop lying ? Like how much is the check to keep harassing me?     A London court has granted Chris Brown bail today, Wednesday, May 21. The singer faces assault charges after inflicting injury on music producer Abraham “Abe” Diaw. Court proceedings for the bail application took place at Southwark Crown Court with Judge Tony Baumgartner. However, Chris Brown was not present for the bail hearing. The bail application was Brown’s second request, as a judge denied his first application last week. The artist has not yet been asked to plead the assault charge.

    Judge Baumgartner set strict financial and travel conditions for Chris Brown’s bail. The artist has to pay four million pounds ($5.4 million) and an additional one million pounds ($1.3 million) within seven days. The judge said the bail would guarantee his appearance in court. The bail conditions allow Chris Brown to embark on his tour, which includes stops in the UK in July. He must also submit his passport, except when he travels for his tour, and not apply for a new one. Brown must also live at a specified address.

    Chris Brown was not the only person arrested in connection with the assault incident in 2023. Authorities also arrested and charged his associate and rapper, American musician Omololu Akinlolu, who performs as HoodyBaby. The rapper has been accused alongside Chris Brown of grievous bodily harm with intent, but it is unknown whether he also made bail. Both men must appear in court again on June 20.

    Chris Brown’s Bail Makes His Tour Possible

    Before Judge Baumgartner granted Chris Brown bail today, his Breezy Bowl XX world tour was in danger. The world tour begins on June 8, but his next court date was initially scheduled for June 13.  Thus, the Loyal singer would have missed at least two dates if the judge had denied his second bail application.

    Chris Brown’s tour starts in Amsterdam and will include stops in North America and the UK. In June and July, Locations include Manchester, London, Cardiff, Birmingham, and Glasgow. He will attend his next court hearing between shows at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium and London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

    Brown broke into the music scene in 2005 and won his first Grammy for best R&B album in 2011 for F.A.M.E. He won his second Grammy in the same category for 11:11 (Deluxe)  earlier this year. He is accused of attacking Diaw unprovoked at the Tape nightclub during his last UK tour.

    Chris Brown’s fans are delighted that he has been granted bail, making his tour possible. Hopefully, the artist will have a great tour and not get into any mishaps this time.

    More people are now getting behind the call for Tory Lanez’s freedom amid claims of his innocence. U.S. Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna joined the crew earlier this week. She called on California Governor Gavin Newsom to pardon the rapper a week after he was stabbed in prison. Luna claimed she had evidence that could prove Tory Lanez’s innocence beyond a doubt and promised to release it soon.

    U.S. Congresswoman Says She Has Evidence To Prove Tory Lanez’s Innocence

    Republican Florida Representative Anna Paulina Luna is calling for Tory Lanez freedom amid the declaration of his innocence. She said she has evidence to back her claims and asked California Governor Gavin Newsom to pardon Lanez. Earlier this week, Luna took to Instagram and Twitter to demand for the rapper’s freedom. She also shared a link to a petition with over 260,000 signatures, calling for Newsom to pardon Tory Lanez.  The Caldwell Institute for Public Safety created the petition after the singer was stabbed.

    “I am calling on Gov. Newsom @CAgovernor to review Tory Lanez’s case and issue a pardon,” Luna wrote on X, formerly Twitter. “His 10-year sentence was based on flawed evidence, political pressure, and prosecutorial bias. The evidence speaks for itself! He is an innocent man that had been wrongly incarcerated! Justice must be blind! Free Tory Lanez.”

    The Congresswoman then referred to the evidence Tory Lanez’s legal team claimed they have to prove his innocence. Shs said the evidence led to many people signing the petition for Lanez’s pardon. She also promised it would be released shortly. “We have compelling evidence proving Tory Lanez’s innocence, and it will be released within the next 36 hours. Those who rushed to call for his incarceration, and worse yet pushed false evidence, should prepare to be held accountable,” she wrote.

    Congresswoman Questions Tory Lanez’s Conviction

    Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna further made a case for Tory Lanez’s innocence in more posts on X. She questioned the forensic evidence and other judicial factors involved in the singer’s conviction and sentencing.

    “The forensic evidence in the Lanez case was deeply flawed,” Luna said, listing the issues she identified, adding, “This raises serious doubt.” In another post made an hour ago, the Congresswoman concluded, “Tory Lanez’s defense was denied full access to DNA evidence. Entire samples were used up by the prosecution before defense testing. Reports weren’t shared until just before trial. That’s a violation of due process.”

    Two days after Tory Lanez stabbing, his lawyers said they had acquired new evidence to prove his innocence. Unite the People (UTP), a nonprofit focused on legal advocacy, held a press conference hinged on a statement from Kelsey Harris’ bodyguard, Bradley James. James was the former driver and bodyguard of Megan’s ex-best friend, Kelsey Harris. James claimed he overheard Harris admitting that she fired the weapon Megan accused Lanez of firing. He said Harris confessed  that Lanez intervened to stop her.

    The calls for Tory Lanez’s pardon and freedom grew after the press conference. Lanez’s lawyers also questioned Megan Thee Stallion and her team’s involvement in their client’s brutal stabbing. “When evidence was about to come to light, Tory was nearly killed,” they said, per BroBible. A X account added, “Tory Lanez was stabbed 14 times just days after a major national news outlet was preparing to release a piece on new evidence in his case. It came immediately after they contacted opposing parties.”

    Meanwhile, UTP’s legal consultant, Walter Roberts, noted that James’ testimony confirms Sean Kelly’s account of what transpired in court. Kelly was the only non-involved eyewitness, and his testimony pointed at Harris as the likely suspect. Roberts also shared his concerns about the judicial process that saw Lanez in prison. He questioned why authorities only tested the rapper for DNA among all the parties present on the night of the shooting. Moreover, forensic checks revealed unknown DNA on the gun.

    Megan Thee Stallion Responds To Claims Of Tory Lanez’s Innocence

James added that Cassie once confided in him about why she couldn’t leave Diddy despite the troubles in their relationship. The record producer’s sex trafficking trial continues for the second week, after beginning on May 5.

    Diddy’s Former Assistant Reveals The Rapper’s Mindset About Cassie

    This week, Diddy‘s former assistant, David James, testified about him and Cassie Ventura’s relationship. He told jurors in the Manhattan Federal Court that the music executive considered Cassie “young” and “moldable” when he first met her. James claimed Combs told him, “I’ve got Cassie right where I want her; she’s young.” James worked for the Bad Boy Records founder between 2007 and 2009. He was with him when he first met Cassie in Miami.

    Diddy Kept Several Girlfriends At The Same Time

    David James also revealed that Diddy and Cassie’s relationship wasn’t exclusive. He claimed the rapper had four other girlfriends when he was dating Cassie. James responded when asked if Diddy dated anyone between 2007 and 2009, “Kim Porter… Sarah, Tara, Yana – and Cassie.” However, James told the Court, “Ms. Porter was his main girlfriend,”

    The former staffer added that he overheard a conversation where Diddy talked about Cassie and Porter.     David James further highlighted how Diddy controlled all aspects of Cassie’s life. He recalled an instance in 2007 when Cassie opened up to him about their relationship. The entire party, which included Diddy, Cassie, James, and Kerry Morgan, Cassie’s friend, was on Star Island. James said Cassie told him while they smoked cigarettes:

    “Man, this lifestyle is crazy.” Diddy’s former assistant said he became curious and asked Cassie, “Why don’t you leave?” She responded, “I can’t get out. Sean controls my life, my music, he pays for my apartment.”

    James also testified that Diddy controlled Cassie’s finances by giving her an allowance. Additionally, he and the singer talked about her music career, which Diddy ran. They spoke about an album that never came out.

    Diddy faces up to 15 years or a life sentence in prison if found guilty of what he has been charged with. Prosecutors charged him with sex trafficking, racketeering, and fraud.     Skai Jackson Files Restraining Order Against Deondre Burgin

    Jackson has filed and obtained a domestic violence restraining order against her baby daddy, Burgin.     Skai Jackson’s restraining order request revealed that her baby daddy allegedly tried to kill their son before he was born. He also threatened to stab her if she tried to call for help while walking her to her car.

    The 23-year-old actress said that she locked herself in the bathroom to protect herself on another occasion. She claimed that Burgin punched through her bathroom door and slammed her against a wall. He then “choked [Skai] until [she] could not breathe.” Jackson claimed the abuse didn’t stop at physical violence. She alleged that Burgin also damaged her personal property, including an iPhone and her walls. The damage totaled $1,878.76. She claimed she had video evidence to prove this.

    A source close to Skai Jackson said she filed a restraining order against Deondre Burgin because of her family’s safety. “The safety and well-being of her family is the top priority,” they told People. “This restraining order was filed as a necessary measure to protect her and her child from continued harassment and threats.”

    Skai Jackson and Deondre Burgin met while the latter, who goes by “Yerky Yerky” online, was in prison. The next month, she shared how difficult but rewarding motherhood had been. In the meantime, the judge has granted her a temporary restraining order request. The next court date is June 9, 2025.
