    Mother Allegedly Purposely Drove Into Lake With Two Young Children Killing All Of Them

    Lakeland, Florida officials has been lead to believe that a mother purposely drive her car into a lake with her two kids, killing all of them last week, according to FOX.

    By the time officials reacted to the scene, the car was immersed 15 feet from the coast. The dive and fire department team were in the process of removing the car from the water when they discovered Ortilla Zamora, 35. Once the vehicle was fully removed from the water, officials then discovered the woman’s two sons, who were 4 and 9. 

    Information revealed that the incident wasn’t caused by a crash, and there wasn’t any indication of trauma on anyone inside of the car.  

    Robin Tillett, Lakeland spokeswoman said,

    “At this point in the investigation, all evidence suggests that the adult female, 35-year-old Ortilla Zamora, intentionally drove her vehicle into Lake Wire on the morning of December 30, 2022.” 

    She continued,

    “During the investigation, detectives learned from family members that she had possibly been experiencing mental health issues days prior to the event. The mother and two boys are from the Wauchula area, and it is unknown why they were in Lakeland that morning.” 

    The investigation is ongoing.

    On the list, she noted that she had sex 63 times and took a shower 37 times, which left some Twitter users confused and a little disgusted as one Twitter user wrote,

    “37 showers is so insane to me.  I shower twice a day and many days 3 times in the summer or just bc I may have been running around. You stink. You have to.” 

    Aella responded to some backlash by revealing,

    “I try not to disturb my natural skin microbiome too much. if I shower too often I seem to stink more! I regularly use a bidet and spot-wash my armpits and genitals tho.” 

    Over the past couple of years, celebrities have been opening up about showering consistently. Back in 2021, actor Jake Gyllenhaal said,

    “More and more I find bathing to be less necessary.”

    However, the New York Post reports that

    “dermatologist Dermatologists don’t recommend a prolonged bath or daily showers.”

    Sadly, a woman was killed amid a hit-and-run crash

    “after her rideshare driver left her on the side”

    of a road on an interstate in Colorado. According to officials, the shocking incident occurred early in morning on New Year’s day. The woman, who was revealed to be in her 20s, got out of the vehicle with her friends after she got sick moments past midnight on Sunday, reports the New York Post. 

    Reports say the woman

    “walked out into the roadway and was sideswiped by a dark truck that never stopped but continued driving”

    on the parkway. The woman then fell down and was hit by another vehicle. The second car stopped and stayed at the scene. 

    On Monday, Adam Wooley, 33, surrendered as the driver who initially hit the woman and he was charged with a hit-and-run involving death. Reports added that his truck was impounded. The Denver Post reports that it isn’t certain and is doubtful that the rideshare driver will face any charges. 

    Jesus Mendez, a Thornton police Officer said,

    “I do know that is not the cause of the accident. It’s not that a vehicle ran off the side of the road and struck them. This person walked out into the roadway and was struck.”

    Arsonists Accidentally Set Themselves On Fire While Attacking A Business, Reports Say 

    Shocking footage has come forth of two reported arsonists in California setting fire to themselves during

    “an attack on a business,”

    according to FOX. One arsonist was heard screaming

    “ahhh!”

    while attempting to flee the scene. The incident occurred on Monday morning at Servicio de Imigracion in Bakersfield, which is a company that offers naturalization and immigration assistance. 

    The video reveals two unnamed masked suspects. In the footage, the two individuals are seen tossing gasoline on the business. When one of them leaned in to torch the gasoline, the rapid fire seemed to surprise them both as the business wasn’t the only thing that was set on fire. Both suspects were seen running away and one suspect was heard screaming

    “ahhh!”

    Luckily, the fire was put out about 10 mins following the first responders’ arrival, reports 23ABC. Max Solorzano, the owner of the business told the news outlet that Bakersfield has to put more effort into protecting locals. 

    “They have to work harder in that aspect, in keeping the community safe. We are a small business and we help many people, so there will be people who will not be able to receive our services due to inactivity.” 

    “That is what most saddens. We help many farmworker families with their immigration processes, we help people do taxes. We ask our clients to have patience with us, we will get through this,”

    Solorzano continued. 

    The motive behind the attack isn’t clear. The suspects are still at large.

    Shocking Footage Shows Prisoner Attempting To Escape As He Was Being Transported To The Hospital 

    A video of a prisoner attempting to escape the back of a moving Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department car has been circulating. In the footage, the inmate is witnessed trying to get out of the vehicle as he is seen hanging through the window of the back of the car shortly before an officer began to detain him. 

    According to KTLA5, the inmate from the North County Correctional Facility in Castaic was being taken to the hospital to be cared for. It’s unclear what injury he was being treated for; however, while he was on his way, he reportedly kicked in the back window causing the car to stop. Once the vehicle came to a stop, the unidentified inmate then attempted to make his escape. 

    Following the failed attempt, the prisoner was detained and put back into the car as he was still transported to the hospital, says LASD officials. It isn’t clear if he will be facing more charges following the failed escape.

    Mother Allegedly Called 911 and Confessed To Murdering 3-Year-Old Daughter, According To Reports 

    A 24-year-old mother from North Miami, Florida has been taken into custody after calling 911 and confessing to killing her daughter, according to PEOPLE. 

    On Tuesday morning, Jellissa Baxter reportedly told a dispatcher from 911 that she murdered her daughter, who was just 3 years old. According to an arrest affidavit,

    “When asked how she killed her daughter, the [defendant] replied she strangled her at first, but when that didn’t work, she stabbed her in the chest and neck.” 

    When officials got to the home, they found the corpse of a child with

    “deep stab wounds”

    to the face, neck, and chest.

    “The knife was located next to the victim’s body,”

    said the affidavit. 

    Baxter’s stepfather, Harold Hemmings, said he met with the 24-year-old and her daughter once when her mother died of cancer back in September 2021. He told NBC6,

    “She seemed like she was a good mother.”

    However, after hearing the news he said

    “She’s sick. That’s all I can say, she’s sick.” 

    Baxter has been charged with first-degree murder and child abuse and was denied bond at her initial appearance in front of the judge.

    It looks like thousands of UK patients at a doctor’s office had quite a scare after the office mistakenly texted nearly 8,000 patients that they were dying of

    “aggressive lung cancer,”

    instead of their planned Merry Christmas text. 

    The Doncaster doctor’s office, Askern Medical Practice, sent the automated message merely two days before the festive holiday, informing individuals of

    “diagnosis — Aggressive lung cancer with metastases,”

    according to BBC. 

    The text requested that people fill a form out that allows individuals with terminal sicknesses to declare their benefits, which left many people in panic. However, within the same hour, the office sent a message apologizing

    “for the previous text message sent.” 

    A screenshot of the text messages from the doctor’s office read,

    “Our message to you should have read, ‘We wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year.’” 

    The automated message was sent to everyone registered at the doctors office. Although the text message was shocking and scary for everyone, one patient, Chris Reed, 54, was actually awaiting his results after doing tests for lung cancer, and the text falsely confirmed his worst fear. 

    He told Telegraph,

    “They went from ‘You’ve got lung cancer’ to ‘Merry Christmas’ in about an hour. Unbelievable.” 

    Carl Chegwinb reflected on the incident saying,

    “What if that message was meant for someone, and then they are told it’s a Christmas message, then again told, ‘Oh no, that was actually meant for you’?”

    Armed Robbery Suspect Taken Into Custody After Slipping and Falling On Ice While Trying To Flee

    It looks like a Georgia man’s robbery attempt took a bad turn. 30-year-old Luis Sajbocho-Ordonez is currently facing armed robbery and aggravated assault charges after a robbery went wrong on Christmas morning. Sajbocho-Ordonez tried to rob a business when staff members fought him off causing him to slip on ice and hit his head on the floor, says the Gainesville Police Department, reports the New York Post.

    The incident occurred at 1 a.m. on Christmas day, which officials said looked like a scene from the popular Christmas movie Home Alone. 

    The suspect allegedly hid behind the business and drew a gun out on a staff member who walked out of the establishment. He and the employee then engaged in a physical dispute and Sajbocho-Ordonez went on to fire the gun after another employee walked out of the building and frighten him. The suspect allegedly attempted to escape the scene but slipped on ice and hit his head.

    Reports say witnesses were able to retrieve two guns from him until officials got to the scene. Luckily, no one was struck.

    “Fortunately, no serious injuries occurred and the perp went to jail,” said the police department.

    A couple from Pennsylvania, Drew and Amy Hoenigke, have been apprehended and charged after the pair waited three days to alert officials about their newborn son’s death, according to PEOPLE.

    The newborn, who was birthed at the home, lived for just a few days as officials claim the parent’s utilized herbs and teas as opposed to

    “modern medicine”

    in an attempt to take care of the baby boy. According to the attorney general,

    “Shortly after the birth, the baby showed signs of severe distress. Messages from the defendants described the baby as struggling to breathe and ‘turning blue.’”

    “In a failed attempt to aid the child, Amy Hoenigke and Meckes utilized a peppermint oil infuser and attempted to create a makeshift breathing tube from a water bottle. Without proper medical care, the baby died approximately two days after birth,”

    the attorney general went on to write. 

    “Experts believe that the caretakers should have immediately sought medical care when the child began showing signs of distress and difficulty breathing,”

    the attorney general continued.

    “The inaction of the defendants resulted in needless suffering, and made it impossible for the baby to survive,”

    the attorney general added. 

    Police said the couple moved to a

    “rural”

    region in an attempt to live a holistic lifestyle. 34-year-old Amy Hoenigke informed officials that she and Drew

    “do not live a conventional lifestyle and choose not to pay attention to things like timeframes or even keep track of the days.” 

    Authorities discovered the infant boy’s

    “decomposing”

    body on Jan. 20 and next to his body officials discovered a box that contained

    “remnants of burned herbs.”

    The 31-year-old father told The Daily Beast that they didn’t alert authorities due to their skepticism of

    “modern medicine.”

    They were also concerned about their 2-year-old daughter who was unvaccinated. The father added that their daughter was birthed at home and lacked a birth certificate. 

    The couple has been charged with a slew of charges including, involuntary manslaughter, aggravated assault, and endangering the welfare of a child. The couple has since been released on a $150,000 bond and is currently awaiting their pre-trail in January.
