A science teacher at a Christian school in Florida named 67-year-old Steven Houser was arrested for allegedly using students’ yearbook photos to produce AI-generated child pornography. The school is Beacon Christian Academy in New Port Richey, as reported by the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office, per WPIX. Reports added that Houser teaches third grade.
Upon receiving a tip, the sheriff’s office initiated an investigation into Houser. They discovered that he had
“two photos and three videos [of] child pornography,”
but none of them involved students from the school. Houser later confessed to producing AI-generated pornography utilizing
“three student yearbook photos.”
Rebecca Yuengling, a parent from Pasco County said,
“This is a new kind of way to exploit children. It’s not an avenue that you typically look into when you are looking at children being exploited. It is worrisome. It’s scary.”
The sheriff’s office confirmed that there have been no reports of any additional victims in relation to the incident.
