Ciara Princess Wilson, formerly known as Ciara Harris, is a renowned singer, songwriter, businesswoman, dancer, model, and actress. Born on Oct. 25, 1985, in Fort Hood, Texas, she has earned numerous credible accolades and awards throughout her career, including a Grammy Award, BET Award, Billboard Women in Music’s Woman of the Year, MTV Video Music Award, Soul Train Awards, and Ascap Music Awards.
During her teenage years, Ciara formed an all-girl group called
“Hearsay”
With two of her best friends. However, the group’s journey was short-lived due to irreconcilable differences, leading to their separation.
Nevertheless, Ciara didn’t let that hinder her progress. She went on to sign a publishing deal as a songwriter. As of 2019, her worldwide sales have exceeded 45 million.
In an interview, Ciara shared her thoughts on fashion and style, saying,
“My inspiration is all over the place because I think fashion is art. When I see really cool images of fashion on Instagram, I save them.”
The singer said.
“I can be looking in a magazine, and I’ll get inspired. I can see someone walking down the street, and I’ll get inspired. I also have to give love to my grandma. She was always dressed to the nines. She had her own seamstress and would sew things too. My dad and mom were also very into fashion, so I guess I could say it’s in my DNA.”
