Colorado Man Buried In Cement Was Killed By “Best Friend”

Two people are now in police custody after the body of a missing man was found encased in cement under a condo. According to Inside Edition, 38-year-old Haskel Leroy Crawford has been arrested and charged for the murder, and his ex-wife, 29-year-old Casie Bock, has been charged with accessory to homicide after she allegedly helped Crawford hide the body.

On April 1st, police in Aurora, Colorado received a phone call from the family of Karl Beaman. They claimed to have not spoken with 36-year-old in 11 months, which was unusual. They had wanted to reach out to his closest friend, Crawford, but he was already in jail on unrelated charges of attempted first-degree murder related to another case.

After receiving no help from authorities, Beaman’s family created a Facebook page to help locate him, where they received an anonymous message. “He’s buried under Casie Bock’s apartment in the crawlspace, under cement. Her and Leroy [Crawford] did it. I’m sorry,” the tipster wrote.

While being interviewed by police, Bock says she had returned home from work and found Crawford in her condo. Beside him, she saw Beaman lying on the floor with a plastic bag over his head. She claims that Crawford threatened to harm her if she did not help him move and hide the body.

The cause of Beaman’s death is pending a review by the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office. Meanwhile, his family has created a GoFundMe page to help pay for funeral expenses.
