An Oklahoma man allegedly asked his friend to rob the convenience store he works at so he could get off of work early, police said per Fox News

Isaias Jones, who initially acted as a victim, told police he gave up the stores cash to a man who walked into the establishment on June 5 and passed him a note that said,

“Give me all your money or I will shoot you,”

the Tulsa Police Department wrote on Facebook.

Steven Jones was arrested in connection with the robbery. Steven Jones reportedly confessed to the crime and told police he was hired by a woman named Alyia Locke, a friend of Isaias Jones, who invited her to rob the store, so she could get some quick cash and he could go home early.

Isaias Jones was taken into custody on June 14, and faces,

“embezzlement and conspiracy to commit a felony charge,”

reports reveal. Steven Jones faces,

“conspiracy to commit embezzlement and possession of a firearm AFCF (after former conviction of a felony) charges.”

According to police, Locke was arrested on an outstanding warrant on June 9 and faces additional charges. She reportedly admitted to setting up the robbery, claiming that Isaias Jones had paid her afterward. She also allegedly exposed incriminating text messages from Isaias Jones, police say.

“Our Human Resources department, and likely every H.R. department in the world would like to advise people that this is not the recommended way to leave work early,”

the police department joked at the end of the Facebook post.

“Carry on.”
