Wendy Williams’ ex-husband, Kevin Hunter, may need to share private details about his divorce settlement in court following his legal battle with Essentia Insurance Company.

Wendy Williams’ Ex-Husband, Kevin Hunter, Sues Essentia Insurance Over Damaged Ferrari

In 2022, Kevin Hunter went head to head after blaming his insurance company for being incompetent. Wendy’s ex-husband claimed his 2018 Ferrari automobile was unattended after damage despite insurance covering it. In his filing, the vehicle broke down after a 2021 rainstorm. The Ferrari was outside with its top open, making it vulnerable to water.

Hunter argued that Essentia Insurance could have fixed it. In response, the firm branded the prosecutor a liar. They claimed that their meteorologist believed there was no rain in the area Kevin claimed.

The duo became embroiled in a never-ending demand for documents to be produced in court. Essentia Insurance requested access to Kevin Hunter’s credit card statements from 2020 and bank statements.

They also asked the judge to order Wendy’s ex-husband to provide his divorce settlement documents. On top of that, they demanded phone records from November 2021.

Court To Assess Williams and Hunter’s Divorce Settlement

Essentia Insurance struck again by informing the court of Hunter’s non-compliance. In the lawsuit, they claimed he refused to submit any documents.

After RadarOnline browsed through the court documents relevant to Kevin Hunter’s insurance case and ruled in favor of Essentia Insurance.

Wendy’s ex-husband was ordered to present every document, including their divorce settlement. But he filed another motion, explaining that Essentia Insurance has no business with his financial records or divorce settlement. And for the latter, Kevin claimed that it contains intimate details about a third party unrelated to the case.
