DaBaby got the treatment of a lifetime during his last attendance at the Hornets game. But it was not until he received a package from the stables of Deion Sanders, that he shared his experience.

DaBaby’s Sidelines Jordan Sneakers Following Hornets Game Experience

DaBaby was not afraid to show where his loyalty was after getting a surprise gift. On February 13, the rapper quickly set his camera for fans to see his Coach Prime Nike unboxing. Once he grabbed the zebra-themed kicks, Dababy sang praises to Charlotte Hornets owner, Deion.

He went on about how the brand constantly reaches out to him. In his words:

“Hey OG – I appreciate ya always checking checking on me, chiming in [and] making sure my head in the right space.”

Once he sang praises to Deion for the gesture, DaBaby cracked up his viewers by hurriedly taking off his Jordan sneakers. As he pulled it off, the rapper explained why he was switching to Coach Prime.

First, Dababy acknowledged Jordan’s sneakers but compared the treatment he gets from Michael Jordan to Deion.

“I rock with MJ. I fuck with MJ but he ain’t never sent me shit and at the Hornets games when the players will come and I had my courtside seats, y’all ain’t never let me shoot the ball,” he maintained.

Before ending the video, DaBaby reiterated the preference he received at the Hornet games, doubling down on the fact that he felt special. He chimed that the Hornets “let me throw the ball when I went out there to Colorado.”

Fans understood the humor, and many others congratulated the rapper for coming off the cancel culture. As reported by HipHopDX, the commenter noted that Deion’s affiliation with DaBaby happened at the right time.

Back in 2021, fans decided that DaBaby should be canceled after his homophobic remark at Rolling Miami. At the same time, he lost about $200 million.
